because the OP wanted it closed. That's it, it's only his business. He made a post about his personal problems a little while back, so I wouldn't be surprised if it has to do with that. Probably wanted to take care of his life issues and didn't have time to work on the rom, so froze the thread so it doesn't get out of control while he's not around. Just my speculation of course.

see i respect people's privacy, but this isnt something he did behind closed doors in his bedroom or something
he had a public rom on a public board for all of the public to see. he had people following and using his rom
so it just kills me when people seem baffled as to why they seem surprised as to why people wanted to know why the thread was closed,and that some claim its his business to know. Yall acting like we asking him how many times he had sex last night,and if he used a condom or not. We only asking about what he publicly exposed to the internet, i mean really guys

Dude we should stay in tune with each other because I'm about to get into dev'n also. The only thing stopping me is needing a laptop, which is something I'm going to get in a month or so. I need one that's perfect for the task-$$$-. When I do I'm going in blind, as it seems to be the best way to learn.

Me also. I've been thinking about taking my android hobby to the next level for a long time, & what better way to do it other than contributing to the community with what they like.

Hey rocky, haven't been on lately, 10-14 hours a day a work taking it's toll on my posting...heck so tired, my lazy cat looks at me with pity..
Does anyone know what this means or how I can avoid it. I get it quite often when I try to flash a zip.

This is in the wrong section... but I have also had that problem when I transfer files from my mac to my phone. What I did was download files using Google chrome instead of safari.
I don't know but you might get more response if you posted this in the q.a. forum and not in dev. Or even in the twrp thread.

yeah of course,......but ill tell ya something....compared to the way things were when these forums first started up....there hasnt been as much flaming on this kinda stuff or anywhere for that matter....Im lovin it LOL!!!!....good stuff guys
Just a side not once you get that error you have to reboot recovery. Don't know why its just the way it is. So like if you go into usb mode and copy another ROM over you will get the error again unless you reboot recovery. At least thats been my experience.
Fix it? Is it happening when you try to flash a ROM? Try pulling the battery and starting the phone up in recovery (power and volume down).

Thanks for posting this. Im itching for ICS but am waiting for a fully functional port (besides 3d and wimax) before I really want use it. I'm guessing the first release will be pretty stable judging by the ports we have in the dev section. They are great, but I like having all the features of my phone working. Will be checking in on here often.
