Hi,
I have 4.1.8.3
2.2.2
Baseband N_01.77.15P
Kernal 2.6.32.9
Gladiatrix 3 b0.2
I'm trying to install the latest radio in order to install Cherry3.14
Install directions say to update radio first.
Using tenfar's recovery and the radio fruitcake it get the following error:
assert failed: motorola.motoflash("/tmp/bp.img)
E:Error in /sdcard/attradiolatest.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Chris

I am installing GladiAtrix 3 on my rooted, sideload-enabled Atrix. However, when flashing with CWM, I get the following error message:
assert failed:file_getprop ("/system/build.prop", "ro.build.fingerprint") == "MOTO/olyatt/olympus/olympus:2.2.2/OLYFR_U4_1.8.3/1301957996:user/ota-rel-keys.rekease-keys"
E:Error in/sdcard/GladiAtrix3.zip
(Status 7)
Installation Aborted.
I have tried from both internal memory and an sdcard.
Any ideas?
Hello I am trying to revert to the CWM Gobstopper Stock 2.2.2 for bell found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1185171
Using Tenfars latest CWM recovery. After getting into recovery mode and starting to install the .zip file I linked to above the installation is aborted.
This is what it says:
assert failed: package_extract_file("app.bin", "/internal/app.bin")
E:Error in /sdcard/Bell_2.2.2.stock.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Any suggestions?
Edit: I also followed the steps in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17084503&postcount=64
However, while using fastboot I can erase only userdata and cache, nothing else.
I am rooted, not unlocked.
I didn't find this answer definitively but I read for the new gobstopper 2.3.4 you need to have an unlocked bootloader (I am guessing that was why 2.2.2 didn't work), I just finished doing that, once I am done downloading the new 2.3.4 bell version I will try using that and will see if it works.
Hi guys,
I just rooted my SG2 and I'm getting this error:
E:Error in /sdcard/Hyperdroid_Androidmeda_v4.0.0_signed.zip
(Status 1)
Installation aborted.
I've tried flashing other ROMs other than Hyperdroid and I still get the same error.
Anyone have the same problem and a possible solution?
Which kernel did you flash?
EDIT: I fixed this by wiping the phone and SBF'ing back to 2.3.4, and going from there. Disregard this thread
Alright so, I have my phone rooted, BSR installed, made a recovery, went into recovery mode and went to install the cm10 zip. Once I install the zip, this is the status log:

I'm having the same problem, and am a complete noob to this stuff. When I SBF to 2.3.4 do I have to install a new bootstrap?

Hi all!
I've got a big problem! maybe someone can help!
Got Motorola Photon 4G,( locked) with Hybrid v20 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587770 installed. I got radio n_01.11.00s.xj. This radio is awful, it drains my battery very quick, and the signal is very weak.
So i decided to get the new radio.
1. When i flash it over ,Bootstrap everything goes fine, until it gets to stock recovery, where i get th following error
--Installing SDCARD : Radio/N_01.28.07R.zip
Finding update package....
Opening update package...
Created by shev4enkostr
installing update...
updating BP....
Please wait...
assert failed: motorola.motoflash("/tmp/bp.img")
E:Error in/sdcard/Radio/N_1.28.07R.zip

Installation aborted.
