If I have root, and installed a rom, how can i check if my apps are running off my SD card not phone?

Two things:
When I wrote the image to my SD card to root my nook it changed the capaicty of it to only 39 MB. Is there a way to change that back to the 16 gb it was originally?
Second can I save apps from the market to the SD card or do they have to be saved on internal memory? If I can save them to the SD card is there a way to move apps already on the internal memory to the SD card or do I have to reinstall them?

You need to boot the Nook without the sd card in it, and then once it is on & ready put the sd card back into the nook, go to Settings, Device Info, SD Card, Unmount SD card, Format SD Card. It should now be it's original size.
Right now we are running on android 2.1 so it doesn't support apps on the sd card. Once it is upgraded to 2.2 you will be able to put apps on the sd card. If you want to do it right now you have to partition your sd card. I would say wait until 2.2 comes out officially
Yes I did reboot but still says the sd card is not there under settings, however if I boot via xRecovery I can access the sd card with the xRecovery menu
I did try deleting the android folder on the sd card, still no help I guess I could tryu a different sd card when I get home
well getting further, it wrks with my 2gb sd card just not with the 8gb card even when I did a reformat,
if i borrow my friends sd card to install a custom rom on my phone would i still need that sd card? or can i boot without it after the rom is installed?
no you will not need it because the OS is stored on the internal memory, you should consider getting an SD card
Hi,
I just updated from kitkat to MM. I have installed TWRP first and made a backup. After that, i could never see my sd card again in TWRP.
Now most of the apps can't find my sd card anymore.
Some do though. They can access the data, but then if you look for the card in the app it's not there.
Now I found out that this is the path to the SD card :
storage/9C33-6BBD
But some apps simply dont work with that path and say i have no sd card.
Solid explorer identifies it as the external sd card.
Why is that and what can I do about it?
Thanks
I have recently changed the default install location to sd card via adb console, everything was fine but when im trying to install app i get message that i need to free up some space, having 32gb on sd card.
