Have the NV2 backup? Restore it via LGMDP.
Do not have? Back to service center.

Hi guys,
My O1 is dead. I'm gonna send it for repair but I have a question. I've rooted my device and even installed custom recovery; flashing several roms as well. When my phone went dead, it was on a stock 2.2 rom. Now for the question: Will they repair my phone for me? ^.-
Thanks
It depends, I heard ppl that had custom roms and they got their phone repaired
Just don't tell them anything and hope for good
If something inside is fried then you might not be so lucky.
Oohh... Btw I managed to flash my phone's firmware with kdz updater but when I used the official LG application to update my software, it totally screwed up. Irony, isn't it?
Lol. It's good you didn't turn it in then. They would have voided your warranty. You can only go and ask them to repair it for you when the flashing chip on the mobo is dead

But i can't turn it on now. Kdz updater can't even detect my phone

Mine was repaired, after failed on flashing a different stock ROM.
The previous working rom was the wrong official one but non-rooted
I got it back after a week with new PCB

If it shows some life signals, then you need to COMPLETELY BRICK it.
If it's completely dead, they
1) cannot find what have you done in it's software
2) they're gonna believe the story easier
3) they're gonna put a new PCB, so it's like having a new phone.
try and flash using kdz flasher use a stock 2.2 rom
press vol up + menu button and then connect the usb port to pc .
flash from kdz hope it works mine was dead too but i gt the phone back to life using the method and choose cs emergency while flashing

I see... I have another question. When I attempted to update using the official LG Updater, my phone was such in recovery halfway through the process. It was still in emergency mode but according to the Updater, I was asked to remove the battery. My phone went dead right after that. Do you know why it went dead?

Just for the record, I bricked my phone again. Sending it to the service center again zzz

Rooted?
If not, may be the motherboard. I've got the same problem with mine, and I'm going to return it to store for a fix.
You may also want to try to plug it to the computer and open PC Companion and try the "repair" function. But backup everything you need first, I don't think everything get's deleted but be aware that it may happen.
Do u overclock it?

Hi, I got a similar problem. Since a few weeks ago, flashed a ROM and when I've tried to use the phone, it keeps turning off randomly, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after hours. So, I tried to take it back to the clean original 2.3.3 ROM, but it keeps happening. ¿Any idea? ¿Any solution? Please, help me.

Didnt PCCompanion/seus fix it? And still persists?
Then it's time to get a new chipset.
Or a new device.

Hello.
Today my Galaxy S2 i9100 got wet and stopped working. The phone started resetting infinitely until the screen kinda died. I took it for a repair and a guy opened the whole phone cleaned it and dried it. It was working as good as a new until I realized I had no phone signal or data. Baseband and IMEI were Unknown.
I'm using CM9 nightly with its stock kernel.
I have tried everything possible. Flashed new modems, used GS2 Repair, Restarted the phone with no SIM, used the two repair buttons on EFS Pro, etc. I seriously don't know what else to do.
Can I please get some help and sorry for my english.
Thanks in advance.
I'd say the board that has the USB connector is fried. This has your radio/baseband also. You could try getting that replaced, might work can't say it will for sure mate.

How can I be sure? I mean, when I plug it to the USB the PC dettect its inmediatly. It just says IMEI: Unknown, Baseband: Unknown, etc.
Is there a way to be sure it has to do with the board??? I thought it could be a software related thing since the cellphone rebooted like 5 times before the screen almost died out.
Thanks in advance.

Having the same problem
I'm having the same problem as well. My phone got wet then suddenly my phone lost it's imei and baseband became unknown. I've tried using EFS Pro, GSII_repair, as well as following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1264021 but nothing seems to be working.
And yeah, how do you check whether or not it's a problem with the board?
Hey i Need Help! :crying:
I Hard Bricked My xperia mini pro,
I Change the imei number on the phone (i know its iligal) with octopus, i turned it on and was working great, but after 15 minutes it started turning off every minute. I tried reflashing it but after 5 times trying to flash it now i cant get "flash mode" (green led) to work, when i connect to pc i dont get nothing no even "unknow device" all i can get is test point is there any way to get it back working
PD: The bootloader wasnt unlocked its locked, i already tryed unlocking it but no luck! :crying:
sorry my english is bad
Changing IMEI will always have a great big risk...my only supposed answer for your problem is to send it back to service
