Hi there,
Here's my probelem and as i have read around the problem never has been helped out.
Oke after i have flashed my phone from 1.6 to 2.1 i never had any problems. but when i updated my phone from 2.1 using PC Companion to 2.3.3. the phone just died.
It keeps hagging in flash mode and after like 10 sec it vibrates and won't stop until the bat is dead.
What i have done:
I have tried to flashing it using the flash tools with many firmwares nothing worked, then i have used the SEUS repair function but when i use that it only wants to flash it to 2.3.3 and doesn't repair it, unless the repair is only reflashing and without whipe user data then it didn't work.
Oke anyone with ideas? There are like 3 other people with the same problem and i think we all have an X10i
So? The unbrickable phone has a weakness....
Um o think its a battery issue try either replacing it or charging it
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
I have the same issue, no, its not a battery problem, i have 2 x10i, i have no issue about the ulocked one. But with the x10i locked with Three Network the problem arised.
Is ur x10i unlocked? Coz if not, maybe its just a problem with locked networks.

I have bought a new bat so it's not a bat problem,
Yes it's a Vodafone NL Locked mob but i changed the firmware to global then it shouldn't be locked any more right???
Wel it won't boot only vibrates
Right, i also debranded my x10i to Global but still its simlocked to Three network.
Lets wait other ppl who have the same problem to confirm if it only happens with locked networks. If so, i think theres no solution ATM, we have to wait our devs to help us out.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
It just looks like it happens with branded mob and X10(i) only....
I even tried to put it back to the original branded firmware, still no go....

Hi mates!
Few months back I unlocked my bootloader and recently used many custom ROMs and kernels. Unfortunately I could not use my wifi properly - I was on FreeXperia kernel and at very start wifi worked ok, but it stopped finding any networks after couple days of rom usage. Problem was reported on the Android Development sections in the ROM thread by many users, so I thought it will be fixed soon. Couple days ago I switched to DoomKernelv3, his wifi modules and Oodies MIUI ROM - worked perfectly but my wifi worked occasionally and stopped working again. I got back to stock now and I'm on Z's Recovery (very first one I used and had no wifi problems) and problem with no wifi networks still persists. Did I brick my wifi somehow? Is it possible? Does anybody experienced similar problem?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
hey
honestly... i think there is a hardware problem in your phone....
cuz even after switching rom's you still have the same problem....
i would sugggest that your use seus and get back to stock version... and just get it fixed by them.....just keep saying them that wifi doesnt works and all.....

very easy mate....
just open seus.... support->update phone->repair phone written in red color->wait and then from the list of phone choose your's->now take the battery out for 5 seconds(15sec might also work)->put the battery in->press back button and keep pressing it and then connect the usb cable....->it would flash the stock rom back plus automatically lock the bootloader again....
VOILA....
claim your phone is having hardware problems to the repair guys..... if under warranty

I don't think seus locks your bootloader you have to use s1 tool I'm pretty sure I may be wrong though
sent from my x10 using xda premium
it does lock.... coz every-time i got f'd while flashing i used seus and had to unlock the boot-loader every-time.... even though i checked with s1 tool first if the boot-loader was locked or not....
any way if you r on stock rom... those repair guys... wont even notice that you flashed the device
Hi!
I have had the same problem as you. Still after repairing it in PC Companion, the problem was still there.
So I left the phone for couple of days because I got Xperia S, and when I turned it on one day and searched for WiFi networks, it finally found some networks!!!
I don't know what 'fixed' it, but I think it's a hardware issue and I was going to get it repaired until it fixed itself

I repaired the system with SEUS, no Recovery or root available anymore. I assume bootloader is locked back. Wifi works same way as it worked. Is there some wifi debug software to figure out what is going on?
Anyone?

yes, me use rom manager. browse all options. u should see one called wifi scan interval. if i am not wrong, default is 480. change to the lowest possible
Okay, I was told to go here since people on AndroidForums.com had no clue on what to do.
Okay, here are my problems -
I received this Android from my mom and it was running Android 2.1. When I first got it, I turned it on without charging it. It booted up, came to the lockscreen, then about a second later turned off and now refuses to boot. I have tried flashing it with generic Android 2.1 and Stock ATT Android 2.1. But it refuses to do nothing but flashes a green light and vibrates. But that all it does. And PC Companion, SEUS, FlashTool have done nothing! So what do I do now? It accepts Flashes and restores, but it's like the Boot Files are corrupted. And I cannot JTAG, so is there any other options?
Thanks in Advanced,
NetworkLabs

No, because I charged it all night and tried to turn it on with no success. So that isn't the problem...
Flash 2.3 firmware then do root, recovery(just in case you don't have it) and a kernel.

My only fear is after restore/flash to 2.3, it will most likely sit there forever. The screen doesn't even light up! So if is to happen, what do I do?

I had quite the similar issue with my x10i. One day it just decided to stop working completely. No lights no nothing, tried everything, just dead. So I contacted SE and they said they could do nothing if the software had been tampered with, no matter how much I assured them if was a hardware related fault.. So I went to my carrier and they sent me to a phone repairing company (Fonemenders here in Ireland), who try fix the phone themselves by getting parts in from the manufacturers. If they deem your phone irreparable they will get you a new replacement. This is exactly what happened me. So the other day I received an email saying that seeing as my x10 couldn't be fixed, I'd be receiving a Sony Arc as a replacement! So i'm happily waiting for the Arc to get here while I use my moms old x8.
So my best advice if nothing is working, go to your carrier and hopefully they can get you through to a phone repairing place, and I wish you as good luck as my own
Well, I cannot replace the Phone since I am not really using it as a Phone. It will not be activated, it's just to mess around with. And I really don't want to buy a Samsung Galaxy Player just so I don't have to deal with this. So I'm going to try the Stock ROM now and see if it works. Do I have to wait for boot up or something?
Try to flash with SE Companion. It will work.
Well, I restored using SEUS because it's the only one that recognized the phone, other than FlashTool. After it restored, it said Unplug the phone and wait for first time. It will take a while. So I am currently doing that. Hope it turns on!
Well, I've restored it and it still sits here. What's next?
I am going to try to flash it using s1tool and see if that helps. Also, can someone please respond with what they think is wrong?
Okay, here's another question - In order to load the firmware you told me, does my Bootloader have to be UNLOCKED? If so, how do I do that without ROOT... Because I cannot do anything with the Phone.

Nooo to flash a stock firmware you don't need unlocked bootloader
sent from my x10 using xda premium
Well, it won't let it. It either doesn't recognize the device or it returns a error... =/
I cannot flash the firmware that you suggested! It get's to system.sin and then aborts with no error information...
Any additional help?

I have a question for you... is the phone rooted ? If not then try following
1) start your PC companion and select update software
2) if software say, your phone is up to date then use here will be repair option you need to select it.
3) once you select repair it will download stock GB 2.3.3 and after download it will ask you to plug you phone in flash mode
4) remove phones battery and connect the phone to your laptop.
5) now place the battery back while holding down the back button (3rd button from left) { this step is important as this will get your phone into flash mode.
6) above steps should get your phone back onto stock unrooted ROM...
if you want then use flash tool to root it again but be careful with kernels and bootloader
Set from my Transforer TF101 using xda app-developers app
Well, I think I have tried that and it still won't boot. But I will try again. (PS - Sorry for this old thread, but I just needed a break on working on it! I am going to try again and see if it works!)
I'm kindly posting this question to help my friend's X10 Mini Pro.
The phone is hardbricked two times, the first one is we accidentally flashed the wrong .ftf file on Flashtool last month and sent to repair center, it came back to life. The second one is that the phone did not power on after turning it off (happened almost 1 month after the repair). So here's the problem:
So the phone vibrates shortly everytime I'll try to turn it on but there are no signs of led and screen to lit up. The good news is the computer (I'm using Win7) recognizes the phone when I connect it but a couple of seconds, it just disconnects and reconnects again sometimes it just normally connects with no interruption. I tried to flash back to stock using Flashtool (the .ftf file)
According to the message log, it successfully flashed so I disconnected it and turned on the phone but still, it just vibrates and the screen did not turn on. Tried Sony PC Companion-failed I don't know if the bootloader is STILL unlocked after the repair because I unlocked the bootloader before the first hardbrick event happened. So I'm thinking about what if he accidentally accepted an OTA update? maybe that's the reason of being hardbricked? what do you think? I really appreciated your help
