Is anyone else having the same problem as mine? how canI solve this?

Anybody else with this issue? Just upgraded to v 38 today and battery drain is severe.

Yeah dude, I have the same problem too. I thought it was just me.
Ya I'm burning though a 3500mhA battery in under 6 hours.
the android OS process is taking over 60% of the battery atm, not really sure whats up with that.
Good to know I'm not alone.
I had been running an older version for a while... v 32. Hadn't had a chance to upgrade lately. Performance of v 38 is dramatically better than what I was used to....but the battery is killing me.
I did a complete wipe before the install. Does anybody know if this is going to be addressed soon in v39 or should we drop down to v 37?

Flash CFS v6 and that should clear it up...
Is anyone not having a battery problem with v38?
Its sucking bad man it barely lasts three hours with little to no activity

KaosFroyo v38 has the CFS v6 kernel as part of the update.

Also, fwiw, I've been having battery issues ever since I rooted my phone. it doesn't matter what ROM I choose, both Kaos & NonSik Froyo's have been rough on my battery. I even have Collins battery tweak running and that hasn't helped much. I figure its just part of having the luxury of being rooted and running great ROM's !!

I haven't had any battery problems since I rooted, in fact my battery life has gotten better thanks to the more efficent battery management of froyo, and the fabulous AutoKiller.
On KaosFroyo v37 with AutoKiller set to Strict, my phone would last all day and I use it as my MP3 Player for at least an hour everyday.
I am using the Seidio Innocell 1750 mAh Battery for HTC so that's also probably helping a little.
I was just looking at those same batteries online. Are they the same size as the stock batteries? I can't tell from the picture on the website.

Yes they are.
The only battery issues ive encountered dont seem to be ROM related
live wallpaper and bluetooth are the top 2 on my list of battery drainers\
KF38 works just fine here

Hello, newbie rooter here. Where about can i get this?
as someone said earlier flash CFS v6 for v38, i am running v38 with minimal use i get over 48 hours of life, heavy use i get 15 hours or so. To get CFS v6 just google it
(i consider heavy streaming pandora, playing games, surfing the net ect)
Don't just google it... search the development forum for it. It's made by Conap and there's a v8 out already that'll probably be better.
I'm on v8 with a slightly modified Floyo ROM and I could probably idle my phone for over 100 hours.
Upgrading has helped my battery as well. I am running KayosFroyo v38.
Hey guys i need some help.. I own a droid incredible and the ROMs and kernels there are great, i can always get awesome battery life with tiny's kernels.. My brother has the Samsung Fascinate and he wants some rooting love. He wants basically what i have: a stable rom with a kernel that will give him at lease better battery life than stock. I mean if there is a kernel out there that can do what tiny's kernels do for my droid incredible that would be amazing. so can someone point me in the right direction?? thanks!!!!
Froyo or Gingerbread?

Powerwashed Rom by ccampos, closest thing to stock so can be used as a daily driver and great battery life.

I personally would go with cm7 and use the glitch kernel. Set the undervolting settings and the phone lasts for quite a while. My percentage dropped 1% in almost 2 hours. I was doing a fairly moderate amount of texting and some browsing.
+1 for CM7.1 with Glitch kernel. Even if you don't change UV settings the battery life is pretty good.
I have a rooted p500 on stock 2.3.3 gingerbread. I have installed franco's .35 kernel. I also want to install a basic Rom for my device in terms of battery and speed. I want a custom status bar as the stock gingerbread one is pathetic. That mainly all I care about for style, although more features would be good. What rom do you suggest for good battery and speed? I heard Oxygen rom and NightlyFourE are good but which one would you reccomend for me? Or is there another rom i dont know about? And what are these roms compared to stock battery and speed? THANKS IN ADVANCE. And im sorry if this has been posted before. I looked and couldnt find anything.

Nothing really different about nightlyfoure.its just another perfectpeso rom with dofferent tweaks...oxygen is good for performance. Im using blackbird v1.2-beta1 with moderate usage and i have 18 hours with 69% left..its performance is adequate

Okay thanks. I am leaning towards Oxygen because it is said to have good batter and speed. Does anyone know if "good" means better then stock gingerbread? I want to know Oxygen vs. Stock speed and battery.

Yes! Oxygen is definitely much better. Been using oxygen for more than a month and I can't be bothered to switch to another one

Alright thanks. I have 2 questions: on average how many hour of battery life do you get with oxygen? And what kernal is best for it? I have franco's .35 but i heard people talking about franco 4? Is 4 different and better?

Franco "4" is just a name, it's .35 kernel. For battery life, we can just guarantee it's better than stock, obviously, no need to ask, or just stay in stock.
Okay sounds good. Final question: can i install Go launcher ex with Oxygen installed so I can have basically the same look I have now but with more speed and battery? I want more customization too so can I install custom launcher? Thanks

Alright sorry for the noob questions. Im more into iphone modding

Iv tried both ROMs. I feel CM9 runs down the battery faster. Could it be a calibration thing? Can anyone confirm or deny my observation?
