Hey guys!
Ok heres my problem, i'm looking to flash my current o1 back to original F/w but i'm in darn New Zealand. My phone is unbranded and not rooted since fukn update so i need some one to help me get a English language F/w code from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865479 . I know there is a Vodafone NZ one but unless some one can test the F/w to see if it's branded i'd rather not test it since i am kinda new at this ****.
Please help!
Thx in adv.!
Hi,
All the fw's in the link are original ones.... u can either port the NZ one or Australian version or Indian version or the UK one.... There are versions like 10A, 10B, 10C .... Go for either 10A or 10B because the latter one's can't be rooted.
Also, avoid using swearing words in this community bro, the moderators mite even delete ur account.
Regards,
Mithun.
Im from Ireland and we ahve not got 2.3 upgrade yet for p500 i notice all the downloads are V20C_00 and im V10d or does this not matter at all. Im thinking of downloading from this XDA thread, does it matter which country i download for and can i change to english and should it not affect my phone in anyway for getting a different country's download?
Sorry for all the Questions
Thanks
hi friends i recently purchased lg l9 p765 from india btw. waiting for update JB
my question is can i use other country rom on my mobile..is rooting required for this...
and whats the review on official JB firmware update what are the improvments, pros and cons...
THANKS....
As far as i know all p760 roms are flashable on p765, so yes u can flash other countries rom, but its better to have your own country's baseband to avoid network errors. Check these threads for reviews of JB

Hello,
This is my first post on this great forum, and being very new to android and rooting I have a so called noob question(s). I purchased an LG Optimus L9 P768, with ICS 4.0.4, software version: P76810b-446-92, kernel version: 3.0.21, Baseband version: L6260_MODEM_SIC_01.1230.00. I have read a lot of posts, and I know that cmahendra did some guides to root the phone. I haven't tried to root my phone, since I'm starting to document about the process, and my question is can I put on my phone with P768 v10b the P760 v10H version? Do I need to folow one of cmahendra's guides to do this? Please answer, sincer I'm quite in a blur. Good day.

You shouldn't flash P760 kdz on your phone. Please read more at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2242239

Thank you.
My P768 came with V10B, I upgraded to V10E and then rooted. If there is a newer version for your region, I recommend upgrading before rooting.
