I have been playing with some kernels. This is what can be obtained eith ziggy's kernel. And to think, until recently, je didn't even have a 3D. If the score is not clear it is 4447

EDIT: My bad, Mods, please move this to the Eternity thread in the CDMA development forum. Sorry, and thanks!
what is your current setup?rom, mods?, clock speed and governor?also, ive gotten great scores with ziggy's kernel as well but had a known issue of wake call ( where the phone is asleep and when someone would call, the phone screen would be black and not wakeup). This is a known issue and Virus has mentioned its kernel related. Virus has gotten Ziggy a Evo 3D, so hopefully he can correct this issue as his kernel is by far the best performing and battery life Ive tested.
Just a friendly reminder that this doesn't really belong here, it's more fitting in general, or even apps/themes.
That having been said, Ziggy's kernels were always really good on the OG 4g, but I have had nothing but problems with them on the Evo3D. I know he recently got the Evo so hopefully they'll improve, but even with the latest I'm getting issues with reboots, lockups (those are with it clocked to 1188, not OC'ed at all for testing purposes), and also the infamous 'unable to wake the screen on incoming call'. In other kernels that's a sign that 2 way recording is enabled, but I don't believe Ziggy's have that functionality.
I've also been able to achieve 4300/4400+ with Warm 2.3 and BCBlend 0.3.
How come Ziggy doesnt have his own thread with his kernels. Does he only want it on ViperRom or is there somewhere other than XDA where he has them.

Don't no, he did have a thread on the Evo 4G forums, but he stopped supporting it I think. He does have his own site for his kernels.

Eternity,1.4 w/ziggy417. No mods, themes or whatever. CPU at 1.7 set on demand. Funny thing is that I have never seen the wake call issue at all. Go figger.

See, the only issue I have ever had was my screen going whacky as if though someone was pushing buttons all over the place. I re-applied he ROM over my existing setup and everything has been fine since then. Now, if we coold only find the common denominator.

Well technically the common denominator is Ziggy's kernels. I've had identical problems with them on multiple ROM's and two different Evo3D's.

Try and do your runs on the Free version of Quadrant. I always get quite a bit higher on the paid version.
I put some screenshots in my post so you can see what the ziggy kernel is doing for me on Synergy
Here is my best quadrant so far. 4500+

Antutu
best linpack only 105 though. No pictures of that.

Are there any tweaks that we can flash through CWM to make the phone smoother and faster? I came from the Galaxy S 4G, and they had this thing called Adrenaline Shot, which significantly increased the phone's responsiveness and speed. Are there any for the Amaze?

Oh that one! Sorry yeah ive been in some sorta panic. I normally dont read common things like titles. And now i should. But anyways thanks for the suggestions. Fauxs kernel so far i must say has been flawless. I was only wondering to make the phone even smoother. I know its too much to ask, but heck, everyone would want a flawess phone. I use QuikSense 2.1.2 and use the V6 Supercharger Script and my phone is smooth and responsive. If you're going to use the script I recommend reading and understanding it completely before trying anything.
Testing the Faux kernel and things seem to have only improved here as well.

This is more of a question that will result in an answer that's an opinion. But I am wondering and completely open to ideas. I have used XPLOD and Eternity. But there's tons of Roms out there so I'm wondering which one would be good.
If you could please list the Rom a link and specifications.
Aka

And a personal comment about the Rom. Thanks in advance

Exactly. You will find so many people that like Variable 'X' ROM, and other's that love Variable 'Y' ROM.
There are so many great ROMs out there. It's up to you when it comes to your favorite. Just try keep trying different ones until you find one that you love.
I love viperROM, MikRunny, InfectedROM Eternity, Warm TwoPointThree, MIUI. That's not every one of my favorites, but those are some.

I am about to do my first root and am looking for a ROM. I have learned that there are MANY different ROMs out there depending on what you want. Is there a known database of ROMs listing each of their attributes?
Thanks
AOSP PB9 from Deck. All working except Camera, 4G nad 3D. HW is about 90%, Wifi, 3G, BT, all is working very good. OC up to 1.94 ghz. Good ROM to try
Sense: inbREDed ROM is smooth and fast, MeanROM is another one. Both have all stuff working without problems. MeanROM is more stock look while inbREDed is a fully themed ROM, ledroid tweaks, 2 MPx in front forced. Also, OP is working on 1080p recording

The two ROMs I use:
Mean ROM: everything works. Uses the Ziggy kernel which is stable with great battery life. Very active dev (new release every few days) and very active user community. Has Beats working without the headphone hiss. This ROM looks mainly stock with some addons included or flashable.
Nocturnal Adrenaline: everything works. Uses the Anthrax kernel which is slightly worse on battery, but a little better in performance. Active dev (new releases about once every week or two) and active community of users. Less stock look since Leedroid tweaks are built in and some of the widgets and apps are inverted.
I flashed version a 2.2 ZR3D rom and it is great. Really sped my phone up!

X2. I am not new to rooting, but just recently finally rooted my Evo3D. Tried several different ROMs. I found that Mean ROM was very stable, very quick and snappy, everything works, and very active dev, as stated before. Many that use Mean are changing to the Anthrax kernel to go even faster, but the Ziggy kernel that comes stock on the ROM works great, and is a huge improvement over stock.
I AM looking forward to an ICS ROM that has everything working. Every time I try a ROM with something as a know issue not working, I think it will be no big deal to do without. Then I find that is the feature I miss the most. So I choose to stay with fully functional ROMs. Just my opinion...

Big supporter of Faux. Bought the app waaayyy back when it was released, even before the Note 2 was supported and been using the kernel on all my phones every since my first Android (and his too I believe), the MyTouch4g. One of my favorite phones ever btw.
Anyway, stories aside, I finally got this thing to mount an sd card on boot. Had to go back to my 32gb san disk. Guess I'll drop out my 64gb since I swear by Faux's kernels. Every thing is smooth as butter so far. Running ondemand and gonna let this baby settle and see how long the battery can last. I think I saw on Twitter someone said they got 7 hrs screen on time.
Btw, faux... does this support you faux sound yet? If not, will be putting in support for it eventually?
It supports boeffla sound which is pretty good. Bought the all too myself. Best way to donate.
