Newest Htc kernel - HTC EVO 3D

I know I'll likely get railed for this, but can anyone post a link to the most recent stock HTC kernel. I'm not near a computer and let's face it, searching from the app sucks lol. Thanks are in order of course...

I'm on the app, but freeza has a post with the stock kernels. Shouldn't be too tough to find
Sent by Logo the turtle

Well I found Freezas kernel thread but it has like 7 links and they're a little vague on which is which.

Stock 2 is a real good place to start

Lol the phone hardly feels any different at 1.8ghz than it does at 1.2ghz, aside from the random reboots and lockups of course.

I checked here, but i can't seem to find the ziggy kernel. I've seen it used to get 4k+ quad scores which is pretty solid.

I don't think Ziggy has a standalone kernel for the EVO 3D. I know it is incorporated in Synergy. He may have a website that has kernel links...

Any tweaks to make the phone faster and smoother?

Are there any tweaks that we can flash through CWM to make the phone smoother and faster? I came from the Galaxy S 4G, and they had this thing called Adrenaline Shot, which significantly increased the phone's responsiveness and speed. Are there any for the Amaze?

Oh that one! Sorry yeah ive been in some sorta panic. I normally dont read common things like titles. And now i should. But anyways thanks for the suggestions. Fauxs kernel so far i must say has been flawless. I was only wondering to make the phone even smoother. I know its too much to ask, but heck, everyone would want a flawess phone. Especially on a heavy UI such as Sense.

I use QuikSense 2.1.2 and use the V6 Supercharger Script and my phone is smooth and responsive. If you're going to use the script I recommend reading and understanding it completely before trying anything.
Testing the Faux kernel and things seem to have only improved here as well.

what did you do with your rooted phone?

so i rooted my phone with UCLE5 and put the Siyah v343 kernel. but now what? i spent the last 2 days researching to successfully do this for speed improvements and what not. but i dont really see any differences in speed, or any differences at all. any suggestions on what i can do now because my phone looks the exact same way as it did before the root or what did you guys do after a root to make it seem like i actually rooted the phone.

If you dial *6969# naked girls come to where you are..... You need to flash a CUSTOM ROM you're on a stock ICS ROM you need to read a lot more go to the DEV section those are all custom ROMS.... For an instant change go to the play store and install Apex launcher.

If you're on stock ics (the official release) and someone told u there are speed improvements they lied. Any custom rom easily blows stock out of the water. Stock ( even when rooted) is basically for people who want to play it safe and for things to just work. If u want customization and speed ur best bet is an AOSP based rom. Good luck. Happy flashing.

No issues with Battery life in all honesty. I can use for over 12 hours with constant use and it holds out without complaint. I couldn't say the same with the stock rom but I never really buy these handsets for stock use. I enjoy testing roms too much

hmm i was specifcally told not to flash AOSP roms . btw do you know if that will improve battery life as well. since i updated to official ICS from kies my battery dies really quick. quick meaning if i sleep with battery around 50-60%, i wake up after 7 or 8 hrs, and my battery is dead. im not sure exactly when it dies, but im pretty sure this is a flaw.

What's the best ICS Rom available

What ICS mod is considered the current leader? I'm looking to flash my phone with one, but I'm not even sure what Rom to begin with.
Sent from my PG86100 using xda app-developers app
Personally, I'm waiting for Jelly Bean to drop on our phones
/sarcasm
Mwakious has the biggest fanbase right now and can be considered as a good dev with a good rom, though I'm not quite happy with the battery drainage when the screen is on. Somebody else was complaining about the same issue, but again, every phone reacts differently, so maybe you won't even have that issue ukno..

Most of the roms have both cores enabled which will cause that battery issue.
IMO if you're going to go with an ICS ROM, Cool ICS is the best. No dual core nonsense, the right amount of tweaks, and just a good normal ROM.

Ugh not again.
First we need to know if you are GSM or CDMA.
And second, there is no "best" rom. All roms are created differently, for people with different wants and needs. And every rom will run differently on every phone. So just flash one, try it out for a day or two, and if you don't like it, try another.

Don't know if you were leaving it open to all, but I'll answer anyway. Rom is great, but in an effort to increase performance, the battery life isn't there for me. I think Mikey was in the process of balancing battery and performance when the lte came out. Since he is waiting until the ota to update, I'll try it again then.

I am using the mikey's meanrom v2.4 and it has been real stable. I also used the zr3 rom, but it did not have polaris office build into it, and I needed that since I get emails with documents attached. Didn't see any reason to purchase something that is in the mean rom. The zr3 rom is more customized, where meanrom appears to be more stock to me, but that is just my opinion.
I had no performance issues with either.
Have fun!

Latest Kernel Module, tun.ko?

Hey All,
I finally decided to go down the vpn path, and the Play tun.ko Installer app points me to a list that says it's good for kernel version 2.6.35.7. That sounds like a gb kernel. I'm stock ics with kernel 3.0.16-something.
I've searched the forums here, but didn't find anything. That was a pretty big surprise.
Can anyone out there point me to a currently acceptable version of this module?
Many thanks!

...yes, that was what I meant when I said that I'd educated myself just a bit on things. Still, there are some nuances to flashing kernels that I'm quite positive mean that I have more to learn to figure things out fully.
Anyway, I'll take a look at Snuzzo's kernel.
