Hi!
Is there any chance to run Honeycomb-apps on the Archos 70?
No chance... unless, in the very, very unlikely event, we get a HC rom...

Hi All,
I'm sorry if I'm not suppose to post this here, Please delete if that's the case.
Just eager to share with you guys that the x86 intel port ICS is running unbelieveably well on my Asus UX31!
I can't wait to see ICS on our transformer Prime, it's gonna be so awesome.
And to my surprise, almost everything works, wifi, internet, Market, (sound not working)
You get a really good feel of what ICS is like, so for those who can't wait any longer for the official ICS arrives to the prime, here's the link to the file, burn it to a CD or make a bootable linux USB and install it on your laptop. (The description says it's for Asus laptops, but I've read that people got it to work on other laptops or tablet PC)

I think he was doing it just to play with ICS, not as some sort of permanent solution.

That actually sounds interesting. I think I'll give it a try on my Asus UL-30A. Its got a U7300 processor which doesn't necessarily scream on Windows 7, though it does work well when I boot up Linux Mint 11. It will be interesting to see how ICS runs on my machine.
As for running it on your UX31 it would definitely handicap that nice machine but it would be a really cool feature to show off!

Here you go,
You might need use an ASUS laptop in order for this to run properly, give it a shot.
Dear all,
I wondered if you could tell how I can revert to Honeycomb? Specifically, the firmware/OS the tablet was shipped with? Would this involve the same procedure as doing a manual firmware update? Is there any reason I shouldn't be attempting this?
(The reason I want to do this is like has been reported in another thread here, I'm no longer able to connect to ad hoc Wifi networks. Initially updating to ICS didn't cause this problem, but I recently reset my tablet as per Asus' advice - in relation to Bluetooth issues. However, since the reset, I can't access ad hoc Wifi networks, which unfortunately are quite essential for me. I imagine going back to Honeycomb should resolve this particular ad hoc Wifi connection problem...).
Thanks!
(And my apologies for the fairly newbie question)

[A] No - to my knowledge (I have read almost every Asus prime post since development began) There are no downgrade methods available to date. (response cut from another thread)
With the latest OTA update breaking root, many prime users (myself included) are anxiously awaiting a downgrade fix.
I've scoured the internet, and been unable to find anything. So I made an account here for when I have questions. I initially bought a Nook Tablet a couple months ago for its normal uses. I've considered rooting, and I may do it in the future, but for now, it's stock.
I have a question concerning the features that the tablet (specifically the shop and certain apps) gains when connected to the wifi in a B&N store. I live over an hour away from the nearest store , and I often wonder if it is at all possible to simulate connection to a store's wifi. I assume this would require some way to "trick" the nook into thinking that the wifi it is connected to is a B&N store. Has anyone found a way to do so?
And, of course, I apologize if I have unintentionally broken a rule! Thanks in advance for your help.
IMPOSSIBLE
do to the fact that you must be to use some apps while making it think it is in the B&N store.
Two ip-address for one connection is impossible
just root the damn thing
and flash cm7,cm9, or the other roms
Rats. I was afraid of that. Anyway, thanks for letting me know! Saves me a lot of trouble.

If I understand correctly you wish to have access to B&N store, etc. from home. Is that correct? If not please detail what you wish to accomplish.
I believe if you wish to purchase stuff from B&N, you can do so through their website. The products should then be tied to your account and accessible on your nook.
Just a theory, no personal experience, but I think it should work.
I think they are wondering if there is a way to make the nook think that it is connected to bn wifi so they can read books for free and such like you can while in a physical Barnes and noble store.

Maybe someone can help, but Beelink use to work great until the latest update to Wear devices was released.
If anyone is like me, they would like to have there watch be able to switch between phones without having to do a factory reset on the device every time (I use an old phone for working out and not my everyday phone).
Can someone help and make an app, similar to beelink (which is unavailable now), that can bring this functionality?
That would be super handy with so many roms to try it socks having to pair the watch over and over.
I agree. Another reason why this would be awesome! Can anyone help???
Ya I'm seriously interested as well. Been changing roms so much this past week.
This is a way

Hee guys,
Yesterday a Korean friend gifted me her old phone (a Pantech Sky Vega A760S) , because she didn't want it anymore, dubbing it a bad phone and that I could trow it on the ground if I didn't want it. But it seems to be a pretty good phone and at least better than my old Samsung Galaxy Y. The problem with the phone she gifted me is that the interface is ugly and it has some Korean bloatware on it. This model seems not to be very common around the web in terms of new ROMs and I'm not that experienced with touching this part of phones (only experience I have is installing a stock ROM on my Galaxy Y with Kies), but I have a small background in software development though. At first I thought of installing the CyanogenMod onto the phone, but I'm not sure if that solves all my problems and again, this model is both officially and unofficially unsupported.
Mainly, I want to get rid of the bloatware and get a different interface look, that's all. So my question is; what would you guys advice me to do? Stock Android? (Which one? How to install?) Just CyanogenMod? Something else?
Thanks in advance, you will make my day!
Bas
PS: I'm not using the phone yet, so it's fine for me to factory reset/memory wipe as much as is need.
Anyone? :crying:
