I need to bypass a firewall using an ssh tunnel.
I have downloaded the app SSHtunnel from their website and installed it.
I configured it and it connects to my server but I can't get any app to use the proxy. The Global Proxy checkbox is also checked and I am using MiniCM7 2.0.5 ROM.
Does anyone know what am i doing wrong?
You need to install netfilter, or upgrade to a newer ROM that comes bundled with it.

Has anyone managed to get Barnacle WiFi tethering working with a rooted Streak on the 2.1 build?

Yes, rooted and now running DJSteve's 1.1.1 version of Froyo.
Never managed to get Barnacle working, or the built in WiFi share - the only thing that works for me is the Android Google WiFi hotspot app.
su = root/super user. if you can su, you hit dont allow when it asked for root access or you are not properly rooted.
For some reason firefox can't surf on Webtop. Is anyone else having the same problem? It keeps telling me server not found. If I take the phone out I can surf just fine. I don't get it. It was working fine yesterday and I haven't changed a thing...doesn't work on WIFI or cellular connection
I even reinstalled a did a complete reinstall of a new rom, but firefox is not getting a connection...can anyone help? I just installed the homebase rom

what are you specifically saying to uninstall?
I haven't used the webtop yet so forgive my ignorance, just gonna throw some ideas at ya.
Do you have to use firefox or do you just prefer it? wouldnt you be able to download other browsers from the market place and just launch those once connected to webtop?
check under the settings for the firefox browser, see if you can play with any of them, what comes to mind is the client option, which allows u to chose from android or desktop.
I'm trying to install Google maps but I got that message.
I change provider to T.Mobile using Market Enabler and I could find out GMaps on the store. But when installing, the store maybe detect my ip address and prevent me from downloading GMaps.
Is there any solution for my problem? Can I use OpenVPN or other things to fake my ip address?

UPDATE: I just flashed Zeus 6 yesterday and during setup wizard, I did not allow Google check my location and get issue report. After trying Market Enabler again, I could download Google Maps
I don't that because of new ROM or these options were not checked but everything is fine now
This seems to be a long outstanding issue and it is really hard for me to believe it hasn't been solved by now. I want to use openvpn in tap mode on my phone. Everything I have read says that it can't be done on a non-rooted phone, but my phone is rooted and I can't seem to find any instructions on how to do this. Can someone point me in the right direction?
I'm also interested, how to do it with OpenVPN TAP. I have also rooted device. Till Android 4.4.4 it worked for me by installing binary and using OpenVPN Settings / Installer from F-Droid / Play store. After Android upgrade 5.0 and higher there was an exception and it didn't work, I presume API change or security issues. The only app I know that work with TAP mode is the paid version of OpenVPN Client from Play store. Maybe somebody knows, how to configure OpenVPN in TAP mode on rooted device on Android 5.0 and higher?

I have a problem : I installed proxydroid on my rooted LG Nexus 5 but when I use it with proper configuration for burp suite it doesnt work...
The nexus acts like if i had no proxydroid running and all the applications works correctly without passing through my burp suite proxy...
Do you have an idea why it doesnt work ? or a tutorial to proxy all applications in android ?
I'm on android 6.1.
edit : I set the proxy on the wifi setting and uninstall proxydroid and it work for some applications but instagram say "an unknown network error has occured" , i installed xposedd + JustTrustMe but i stll got this error...
