hi
i installed chainfire 3d at my atrix and the drivers. when i deinstalled the drivers from chainfire, i had a few graphic bugs in my homescreen and the mobile rebooted. after this my handy stuck at startscreen ("dual core technology"). waiting doesnt help and factory resets, too. i can start fastboot, android recovery etc.
now i flashed ORFR234-system.zip on my phone and after doing this, the display goes on and off, when i am at the "dual core technology"-screen. maybe my graphic driver is missing but i dont know how to fix it. please help me!
Here's what I would do. boot phone into fastboot, plug it in, navigate to your fastboot or moto-fastboot folder with command prompt, check that it detects your device, then wipe everything.
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase webtop
fastboot erase boot
fastboot reboot
when it reboots, reboot into recovery, do a factory reset, clear the cache and dalvik cache, and install a fruitcake 2.3.4 (stock) **obviously this would have to be put onto your external SD card cause you cant boot to phone operating system**.
yes, this is a lot of wiping. yes, some may be unnecessary. but i do it everytime and have never had any information linger from ROM to ROM. Just trying to help, hope I did / can. Good luck.
Thanks, worked perfectly.
Now I can finally boot and run webtop. Thanks for the fast instructions.

hello, my Motorola Atrix 4G got this boot looping problem, after i installed a previus rom update "Neutrino rom v2.2 GT+" from "Neutrino rom v2.5p GT+" my phone just got into boot loop after rebooting from recovery mode.
The reason for installing the previous version of Neutrino rom, was because after applying the new Rom update (v2.5p) it could not read my SimCard, tryed to take battery out, did not work. Then i installed the older version. But seems like i when in a loop.. ddaanm
I have been on computer 6 hours of researching how to fight this problem. So what i found it, is that i have to Full Wipe my data with Fastboot, then re install the Neutrino Rom.
But here comes a new problem... My computer, and my other computer, cannot install the Fastboot driver! well.. there did not appear any driver update when connecting usb. And on my computer, it said installing driver FAILED!..
So i can't come on Fastboot!!! (Sad Face)
Edit: Okay, so now i got a even bigger problem.. My battery is dead, and ofcouse, it wont charge couse of the boot looping.. And i live in Denmark where they DOES NOT sell motorola atrix... so it would be hard to find some one with the same battery
I dont know whats wrong.... please heelp me!
i have same problem
bootloop after update new cm7 mod
please help
Y you need to make sure you have the latest moto driver for the atrix. (do some searching i belive there is a link in the noob guide) and the fast boot package for your computer (also a lin in the noob guide) then you have to boot to fast boot the in CMD browse to your folder with the fastboot files and run these commands
fastboot -w
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase webtop
fastboot erase preinstall
fastboot rebooten back in to recovery to flash your ROM
As far as your battery issue man you might be able to find a external charge online pretty cheap ius have herd of others useing them
Phone Fixed
Okay, so i fixed my phone for some weeks ago. What i did was, i found out of a way to charge the phone, using an usb cable. Then after getting the power on my phone back, i downloaded the motorola atrix driver from somewhere in xda-developers. After installed the driver, i could have acces to fastboot CMD on my computer. So i full wiped everything, and flashed android recovery (red color) on the phone, and installed my Rom .ZIP file, i had on my Micro SD Card. and then, rebooting and phone is back!

Well, get a USB Cable, cut it over, u will proberly see 5 wires, cut 3 of them, so u have red and black!
Then put the red and black wire to + and - on the phone, plug the battery in phone, then put your USB I/O into your computer, or your power adapter (i dont recommend this! High energy power!) When u have done this right, then let your phone charg for like... 10 min or something and see if it will open, if it does, let it stay there for 30 min or something, if it does not, then make sure u got + and - plugged right, or else try to switch + and -
Warning, dont let + and - touch eatchother
And dont touch + and - on the usb cable!
Phone: LG p500
Rom: CM9 (arjen nightly)
Kernel: Default
Apps2SD: [MOD] Move to sd-ext | Simple app, private-app and Dalvik cache to SD solution
2 days ago, my phone gave me like 8 force close in row, so i decided to pull out battery and reboot. Next time i rebooted it got to eternal loop. I wipe dalvik - reboot - nothing, wiped factory reset and got error while erasing things in SD (android secure, ext, etc) i tried to flash a rom and surprise! my phone got error with "Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1" tried other SD including a new one, a just format card and nothing. Read in the internet that could be an issue that sd wasn't recognized and that could be fixed in fastboot. Entered fastboot and placed these lines
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot oem enableqxdm
But fastboot won't execute them, just gives me "..." after whatever line i write and i have to pull out battery enter again to try again.
I'm now down to discovering why doesn't fastboot isn't executing my commands, as for recovery, i'm unable to flash anything without my sd being recognized. I also thought of flashing stock rom through emergency mode, but don't know why i'm unable to get into that mode with the 2 button combo (Volume up + return) while connecting usb. The result is just getting into eternal loop on the android text logo
Any help that you could give me i would be really pleased,
thanks for your time and sorry for my spelling i'm not an english native speaker
Why dont search a litle bit

thx for the help i dont know how magicaly today after days of trying i could magically get into emergency mode on a friends computer, and managed to install 2.3 stock rom. The problem is now that i still can get sd cards to be recognized, but will keep searching for an answer. I'll have to enable fastboot on my device to try again the
fastboot oem enableqxdm 0
any clue on how to get fastboot with out flashing anything? (i'm unable cause sd is unaccesible from any place)
EDIT: Just realized that i wont be able to root with out sd, any workaround?
Hi,
my phone hard resets every boot and the command:
adb reboot bootloader
only restarts the phone , which then runs recovery, resets and then boots android.
The only thing I can think of is to use a root file manager to wipe everything in sight (and with it whatever it continually sending the phone into recovery) and then hopefully it will be able to enter fastboot.
I'm an IT pro but linux and phones are out of my depth. Please help.
where is the recovery files located... can I delete them and hopefully brick the phone to be able to get it in fastboot?
Hello, XDA-Members,
long story short, I tried to flash CM-13 on my Honor 5X(KIW-L21 B340). Well, that didn't work and the phone always booted into TWRP. So I flashed FlymeOS because I couldn't flash the stock rom anymore(No matter why.).
It worked perfectly, and I were able to use my phone. After restarting my phone it booted back into TWRP, tried to wipe and all that stuff and even re-flashed Flyme OS, but still booted into TWRP. I was so UPSET that I deciced to flash the original RECOVERY.img for my Honor 5X. Well and from there I made it worse.
Windows and Linux don't recognize my phone. Windows just shows an empty E:\ drive. Reinstalled Google USB drivers, reinstalled driver etc. Didn't work. Now, when I start my phone it boots into the honor 5x recovery. I got these options available:
- Reboot system now
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe cache partition
So, well. I can't install a rom anymore. As well when trying to connect my phone to ADB it won't work either. ADB doesn't recognize my phone. I made a big bull****, tbh. Installed HI-Care as well, but it doesn't get recognized either. I can also boot into Huawei eRecovery, connect to my wifi because it says it can download the stock rom. Guess what, it always said failed so I'm not able to do this either.
I'm really stuck. Anybody got an idea? Thanks in advance!

Shut down the phone
plug the phone into your windows PC
hold volume down + power to enter the bootloader
from windows open the command prompt - type fastboot devices hit enter (your phone serial number will display)
type fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img (be sure to use this TWRP and it's named TWRP.img and in the same folder as fastboot)
after the file is flashed successfully hold power + volume up + volume down
after 5 seconds let go of power and continue to hold the volume buttons until TWRP boots
From TWRP you can now copy the CM13.zip and Gapps.zip to your phone and wipe/factory reset - then install them one by one
be sure their are no errors .. if you see errors choose reboot recovery and try the flash again until it succeeds.
first boot of cm13 will take some time, be patient
Thanks,
I recovered my phone. Awesome!
Hey,
I'm quite new with all this stuff and I just got into some problem. I wiped everything in recovery mode using twrp, cache and internal memory etc (dont ask me why). Anyway, my phone seem to be stuck on a booting loop since I can't enter recovery because twrp fail to load up correctly. You can see where it gets stuck in the image I attached.
Someone know what's wrong and if it's possible to fix somehow?
Thanks :fingers-crossed:
Okay, it seems like I managed to fix it myself. I used adb and fastboot to install everything as stock.
https://developers.google.com/android/images
However I'm not sure about the USB debugging part, how do I enable that if there is no os installed? Do I even need it enabled when I use fastboot?
