Is there any chance that ebay this digitizer is fake?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/26077546885...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_3265wt_1396
i mean i changed it due to touch problems... and nothing was fixed... or is it mainboards problem??? I really need some help here because i was about to sell my TD2
All the ones on Ebay are fakes. Trust me I got 3 before giving up and picking up another TD2.
When you say fake you mean that the digitizer is NOT WORKING???? or it is just of lower quality???
Just lower quality, i bought around 40 digitizers for topaz on ebay, all worked fine , just push a little harder...
I had same problem and when i changed digitizers it didnt work, so i guess its a motherboard problem???
I am not sure if those are fake or not... but are very cheap in cost point of view. When I had digitizer issue I got it replaced in HTC Authorized Serv center even if that is costly.
It cost me around 3400 INR including Service Charge of 1300 INR (Mine was a Non-Indian edition device so it cost more for service changes else it could be 250 INR only). So the actual cost was 2100 INR (Digitizer including the metal frame comes as a part) and was very good as there is no issue after replacement.
Cheers!!!

Please if anybody knows i will apriciate it.

Full Housing
Hi There you can actually buy full housing kits from ebay, but use caution when or even if selecting as some may be cheap copies and won't fit exactly.
I had this problem with a Uni case and ended up having to trim bits off to get an exact fit.
PLEASE CHOOSE WISELY
HTC Mega Full housing costs around 40 pounds on E-Bay ... as for now ... too expensive , maybe it'll go down when time goes by and sellers start to compete each other ... the phone isn't old enough to have the housing at low price ...

Also if you do dissassemble take care with the volume PCB that's got a soldered ribbon to the mainboard. I've torn mine changing a digitiser :-(

Hey guys
I dropped my phone today and cracked the screen a lil' bit.
Do you think it's worth replacing it or should I go for another phone? Also, can you tell me approximately how much would replacing it cost?
Thanks!
you'd better check the price on ebay ..! He also served overseas shipping I hope you get a cheaper !!!!
i think it is 20-25euros just for the screen...
I replaced the screen on my fiance's Rose without too much difficulty. It was a bit of a pain in the but doing a complete disassembly of the device, and the replacement screen was a good bit darker than the original, even with the brightness cranked up. It was worth it though as her's was busted up pretty bad. It was on Ebay for maybe $40 USD.

Yep, found the screen on ebay for 30$.
Contacted HTC Germany. They told me it would cost between 125 and 250 EUR, depending on the damage of the screen. Also sent them a pic of the screen, in order to get more precise info about the cost. When I have the exact figures, I'll post them here.
wtf...for 250euro you can buy a new rose...i suggest you fit it yourself..
Managed to break the SAMOLED display on my SII, font glass seems fine (good ole gorillia glass!) but I think the digitizer might be damaged too since there are a few dead touch spots (from what I can tell) on part of the screen. There is only a small corner of the actual display working so it's pretty shot
So my question to you guys is where can I get quality yet decent priced parts for the SII? It's an i9100 (originally from Orange UK but being used in New Zealand) I had a look on ebay but all the sellers are selling stuff in the $200+ NZD price bracket (160 USD) I was hoping to get something for under $150 NZD.
Due to the doubt factor of damage to digitizer I'll get a LCD/Digitizer combo, i'm just not sure what's best and where is good to buy from. I bought the phone 2nd hand and i'm happy to take (working) 2nd hand parts to fix it.
So where to buy from and what's a good price?
Thanks guys!
Digitizer and LCD screen of my phone cracked yesterday and I took it to Sony service center and they asked INR 8000 for the repair which is quite high compared to the INR 12K price tag of the phone. So is there any way I can get it fixed without shelling this much amount or if any one of you have non functional Neo V with both these things intact I can buy at a nominal price.......please suggest.
Dropped my s3 and cracked the screen at the bottom. Its just the glass bit, touch and LCD seem fine so the digitiser is ok.
Does anyone on here know anyone in the north east of England who is able to just replace the screen or recommend a repair by post service.
Been quoted prices of over 150 quid which seems very expensive as there is nothing wrong with digitiser.
I know I can buy the parts for about a tenner but I'm useless with things like this so would make it worse

Any good mobile repair shop should be able to just change the glass. Most will repalce the sealed unit of glass / Digitiset / AMOLED panel though. Just keep contacting mobile phone repair centres until you find one who will do it.
Know someone in North London I've used twice, £50 + postage and I was pleased with result.
Look up everymobile (IIRC) on ebay, London NW2.
If that's not right PM me and I'll find their name.
