What's a good working N64 emu?

I still have n64droid, although it isn't on the market anymore. I would post the .apk, but I'm not entirely sure if yongzh sells it through other means.

+1 to this I have every "oid" and a working copy of rom finder so if someone is less lazy then me and finds out what xdas policy on warez and paid apps is.. We will be playing classic games soon.

Is there any possibility that we will have a 100% aosp rom for the photon even if it takes a while? And is the photon supported by the amazon app store? What is new about the ota I received today I didn't install it because I read people were having problems with it. What are some cool games I could play that take advantage of the tegra 2 chip

We'll get pure aosp eventually. Yes Amazon appstore its compatible. And most OTA errors are either user or hardware related.

1) AOSP should happen sooner or later. From what I hear CM7 is pretty close for the Atrix.
2) Not sure I understand the question about the Amazon app store. It works just like the regular market on the Photon.
3) The new OTA fixes the mute call problem and various other minor bug fixes.
4) Go get the Nvidia Tegra Zone app from the market. Has list of Tegra optimized games.
Ok good on everything you said I'm just not sure about taking the ota will it block me from being able to root
Edit....
When I try and login on the amazon app store it won't let me keeps giving me and error

Might have to uninstall and re-install the app. No reason why it should not be working. I have the update and everything works same as it did.
The OTA will remove root but you can root again afterwards.
I occasionally check the other tablet forums and came across this APK of the phone market update and many people seem to be using the new market update on their tablets. From what I can gather from the xoom and iconia users is that it simply gives you two markets in your app drawer but it does seem to work. Although the "my apps" section is a little small.
One user from the download website posted he did this on his tab 10.1 with no problems. I would try it out but I always wait for a more established android user to say if something works before I try it. Any tab owners try this out for themselves already? What are your thoughts?

From what I understand the updated market for phones was explicitly made to be more tablet friendly in order to merge them at a later date with ice cream sandwich. I guess eventually our market will be updated to a styling very similar to the phone market. I haven't tried it myself but I don't see anything wrong with trying, just uninstall if it doesn't work.

I accidentally installed the new market on my 10.1 (wasn't paying attention to the apk I was installing). It does give you two markets, but it really screws with things... I got a lot of force closes, and it seemed to jump between the two markets. I wouldn't really suggest it.

Thanks man. Your more daring than I am. So updated market for phones is a no go then.

The Play Store lists GTA: Vice City as not compatible with my LG-E970. Yet, GTA: III is compatible, and Vice City is even it is compatible with my Acer A500 with a measly Tegra 2. I can't for the life of me understand why this game wouldn't be compatible with the OG.
Anyone have any insight into this?
Not sure either. My tegra2 will play Sims 3 but my LGOG won't /:
I think it's the company that releases the apps. They probably block certain devices. Not sure why though

The most confusing thing about this is that it's compatible with the Nexus 4 ! It's literally the exact same hardware, creating a port seems like an extremely easy task for Rockstar to do. Perhaps LG has to communicate with the publishers, regardless it's very disappointing to know that my superior phone can't run the same games my friends can for no valid reason.
Anyone think a build.prop edit would change that problem?
This is the email I got from rockstar last week
Hello Xorrito,
We apologize for the long response time on your support ticket.
Unfortunately your device is currently not officially supported. A list of officially supported devices can be found at
Due to the number of devices currently on the market, it is difficult to verify the compatibility of all devices. We are currently in the process of testing new devices, and will make GTA available for download to these devices when testing is confirmed as working properly.
We recommend staying tuned to this article and official Rockstar Games press releases such as rockstargames.com/newswire for the definitive updated list of supported devices. This way you will be alerted if your device does become officially supported in the future.
We apologize for this inconvenience and if you have any further questions, comments or concerns feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help in any way we possibly can.
Cheers,
Brad

at&t optimus g phone not supported aka AT&T LGE LG-E970
How come this phone is not supported while the nexus 4 is?
They have the same hardware.....:{
Xorro78, thanks for sharing that email. It's kind of weird Rockstar wouldn't test the comparability with our flagship phone. Hopefully soon.
MrZim4, if you try a build.prop edit please let us know the outcome. I'm guessing it'll work as long as it tricks the Play Store into thinking the OG is an N4.

Have you tried changing build.prop to a different or similar LG or another android phone/tablet that is compatible with this game that also has similar hardware I would almost bet the dual core snap dragon android phones will work just edit the device name in build.prop unfortunately they don't update the device compatibility fast enough per app/game but this mod should work, it has in the past say for example to play certain games on the HTC one x I had to change device name to replicate another android I think the HTC one s and compatibility issue went away in market. I'm actually looking to do this for gameloft live which lol is not compatible with this device but will work.

If you really want to get GTA VC working you'll have to download the apk and sd data from a 3rd party site. I've tested this and it works fine. Only do this if you have previously purchased GTA VC on the Google market.

Stplerz, that's a good idea. I'll buy it on my A500, and look for a 3rd party site to dl the apk afterwards.

Glad to help.
And for the sake of others please don't take this the wrong way! Devs spend days and days developing apps.. Don't F them over..

Agreed. Which is why I never pirate these apps. It's much more fun to find a legitimate work-around.
Yes! GTA 3 works in LGOG whit build.prop edited to nexus 4.

Purchase and install it on your A500 then pull the apk from /data/app and the obb folder from internalstorage/Android/obb and copy them to your phone in the corresponding folders. I think the asec file might be needed, too.

I think many of these are very good:

I wonder who that list is for... Most of the apps are based on people who have a cable subscription. I guess it's cool for those who do, but most of the people I know use an Apple TV or Roku to get what they want.
