I upgraded firmware V20D (official from LGVN) for my phone by LGMDP. In NV Backup/Restore, I chose Erase EFS All. There was no problem during the procedure but GSM, Bluetooth and GPS don't work, so I thing there have been some problems with the baseband. I checked in the Hidden Menu, the baseband version is AMSS6150. Can anyone help me???????

Which ROM you are on????
He says original..
But is the AMS the baseband?
However, indeed you s should try KDZ.. Or go to service center with error ID_T_10

flash through KDZ if no other method works.
I tried to flash through KDZ in both Emergency and CS_Emergency mode. It still doesn't work, but the SIM Toolkit still works. Isn't that strange. Anyway, I decided to go to LG Service. Thanks for your helps.

Hey man I am having the same prblem. no gsm
I also tried everything, kdz. lgmdp, rolling back to stock 2.2, everything....... still no gsm, what did the service center guy told u? he said me that there is some problem with the board.... I cannot believe
is your fone okay now? plz reply me asap buddy.
They told me that there was a problem w/ I/O function so the baseband couldn't have been written properly. Anyway, the phone is fine now. You should just leave it for them and they'll know what to do.

you need to restore your nv file from lgmdp and you will get back your gsm.
Lgmdp restores nv file automatically but as you choosed erase efs all ,you need to manually restore nv file.
You can find your nv file in path (foldernamed_ your_imei\foldernamed_portnumber) at the place where lgmdp was stored during flashing (if you didnot delete that folders).
If you found your nv file restore it by following last part of this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1324105
or if you lost nv file then only way is to create nv with illegal imei by following http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=534704
and restore it in same way as in last part of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1324105
Did you try the v20 g? Try upgrading to it using lgdmp..it works fime for me
If you can't find the file anywhere pm me i will upload it

Hello everyone...
I bricked my galaxy S2 HD LTE (SHV-E120L) when I wanted to flash the TeamLeader 1.3 ROM. I managed to have it unbricked, but now I have a modem problem.
The phone is stuck in flightmode, and impossible to disable it.
What do you think I should do now?
Thanks,
Mark
What did you do specifically that blocked it in the first place, aside from trying to install the rom, is that specific rom not compatible with the S2 HD LTE?
I would say reflash a STABLE rom or try flashing a MODEM and see what that does for you, unless you're not sure why it got bricked in the first instance, or you're confident enough that if anything went wrong you can bring it back again
Did you check for your imei number in settings?

Almost got a similar problem here...
phone got struck in flight mode or no mobile network is detected... i dialled in the dialer to make it show the IMEI no... it said IMEI:____________ well nothing
Info: i am on my stock ROM, not rooted nothing... 2.3.6
i uninstalled norton internet security, that's where this problem started... (it actually asked me whether i wanted to renew the norton software, since my 60 days license is got over...)
Thanks in advance!!

Thanks Wezi....
I got the EL bricked because I wanted to flash the TeamLeader ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1468998) with Odin. In that process something must have gone wrong because I had an error. And then I made the capital mistake of rebooting the phone. Since then it was bricked.
Is the MODEM part of the TeamLeader ROM or where can I find an adequate modem to flash?
Also, I didn't make a backup of the original efs directory. Stupid, I know.

I didn't make a backup of the efs directory, so the original IMEI is lost I'm afraid.
Hi guys, well i managed to somehow ****up my efs folder and it now says no baseband and imei/imeid.
I have searched and searched for but closes thing i was able to find was using nv writer to write my old imei back onto my phone. The problem is when I *#7284# I have no option to choose DM + ADB + <cant remember other option> I only have PDA or MODEM option.
Please help,

Can you try kTool?
K-tool does not work, which is why Prodigy got me to type a command line in the terminal which backed up my EFS folder manually. Now I have an EFS.IMG This is why i put up the THread Because I knew it was soon someone will be bound to stuff up there EFS.. Which is WHY WE ALL NEED TO BACK UP OUR EFS ASAP before we start modding
But as for recovery its hopeless? Can a box be used to restore the imei? Anyway i can write my imei using nvwriter after somehow solving the problem of not being able to put my phone into diagnostics mode?
Argh! I am going insane, this is looking like a one dear mistake!
I had the exact same problem. Tried MANY things, with no luck. If you got yours from Optus less than 30 days, they will give you a brand new replacement phone .
Try to install a stock rom like 4.0.4... that worked for me on a S1 with the same problem and fixed it!

I have the same issue although it happened to me when I flashed a rom to ROOT my device and I didn't back up the EFS, now it doesn't read the SIM/Network and my Baseband & IMEI are Unknown.
I have tried re-installing the stock firmware etc but still no success...
Anyone have any suggestions?? Or at least how I can update my device status back to normal a pose to 'Modified'.. This was I could maybe submit it through warranty repair.. I have tried to reset my binary count with triangle away (before unrooting) but no success as.. The only thing i've managed to be able to do is unroot my device..
Please help!
Thanks...:fingers-crossed:
if you dont mind about the reading , u can still use your phone flawlessly.. and try the trick "oh im not sure , oh i dont know" and get one replace or u will need jtag i guess.. or maybe ( not sure if it work ) get someone else backup efs and find a way to put your imei in and push it back to your device.. and then repeat same procedure with your original imei ... if u cant remember , take a look at your box.. well..i am just suggesting..not sure if it work...
to get rid of modified , go download sammy official release for your telco or country , flash it with odin but the binary counter remains... good luck to u..

But if u could backup efs folder and upload it, i can give it a crack. If it won't work, I am still sending my phone away back to Telstra on monday

Would a EFS pro backup.img be ok? or do you want the whole uncompressed folder?
EFS Pro img would be fine (i assume) it's a final shot before i ship it off.
Thanks mate!

I read last night that if you flash the original OTA over your phone it will re write your IMEI number and if Telstra's one is not out just use one from AT&T or Optus etc..
So you can make a back up of your EFS and go from there with re rooting and applying a new baked rom.
Either way if can work or it can not. i see no harm
Anyway here is the EFS taken' just now
you should never share your EFS folder with someone else. Due to the fact each imei is unique.

No, it is not. And also illegal. I have removed the link for you.
OP, hope you get it worked out, but this will only cause more trouble than it already has.

Did you flashed the rom for your country? If not, look for your IMEI and see if it is corrupted, maybe it is the problem but im not sure, cause i never experienced having such problem.
I just checked. IMEI does not match the original imei. How can I solve? LG E450f

I never experienced such issue, but i have researched about the restoring process of the lost or corrupted IMEI. Do you have nandroid backup? If yes, restore your phone thru it. If you dont have any backups, try flashing to stock rom. If none of this works, it will be a lil bit complicated but there's still chance. They all say you have to backup the EMS folder before you can restore it if a problem with our imei occurs. Yet there was one solution i saw for recovering imei without the backup but it includes using the pc. I cant post the exact link right now cause im not yet at home. But you can search for it tho (it will appear easily). Im just telling you that there still a chance to fix it. Next time try to make nandroid backups and backup your IMEI first before flashing or changing something to your system, make it a must just a note: in our LG phones, as far as I know, we dont have the EFS folder(where imei rests) not like any android wherein they have that folder, but we can backup that imei thru an app LG BACKUP IMEI. Search for it, it will give you 3 .img files needed for restoration of imei and it contains of course the backedup imei.
If i helped, just press the thanks button for me and i really hope i helped you.
Cheers man.

Hi All, I have a Problem. I have Ruined my Edge. Genius.
I have some how (read: Messed about with incomplete ROMS) damaged/Repartitioned my EFS partition. I can boot into the device and I HAVE an EFS folder with files in it, but still an IMEI 3500000000000000000000 or similar as well as no signal.
I know Its stupid, even more so to not have a backup, so you don't need to remind me, but any ideas on rectifying this? I know some people have had to get a new Motherboard installed when the EFS partition is missing or empty, but mine is there. I'm hoping something can be done. Maybe a .PIT file? I dunno....
TO NOTE:
I HAVE tried Smartswitch. NO, It didn't work
Any help would be Apprectiated
