I'm on JI6, rooted.
i have this problem that i cannot get the Market to download.
I didn't see and end to this story this is why i open i new thread.
The last thing out there is that it could be a Market problem......
But still i have this issue now for 3 days, i did most of the things in this thread.
nothing works ...

Can you connect to the internet?
I have done all !!! connect reconnect wifi/3G, clean data to the data manager, remove updates from Market, into gtalk, stop gtalk, run Maps......

But can you connect to the internet?
Did you try resetting APN settings?
Did you try clearing cache?
yes i have connection (internet , emails all work) and today i was able to download and install (i took the SD out ?) but again wont work.

I've searched the forum and couldn't find any thread related to my problem.
Problem:Android market says "You don't have any devices." but i have installed 100s of apps from 'Market app' on the phone,
I am logging in with same google account.
Is there any solution for my problem.? Is anyone else facing the same..
One more thing, ' Market App' on my phone, it is working very slow. i have fast internet connection (Wi-fi) even than it take 5-7 minutes for 'searching' and 'Loading'. Is it normal?
P.S. My device is new, nothing is rooted or changed. Its right out of the box as samsung build it.

I'm not sure if this will help but have you tried going to settings- applications - manage applications - all tab- market- uninstall updates.
Might be worth a try for a start.
There no option of " Uninstall Updates" in 'all tab- market-'
Its new phone, I`m facing this problem since DAY-1,
Any expert on XDA can help me here..
Will rooting my device help? Or ROM change?

Rooting will make no difference. I'm not really sure why you are having this problem. Maybe somebody else may have some ideas.
You could try downloading the new market. Google market v3.1.3 and install that.
If you are still unable to solve the problem you could try the reset code in phone dialer *2767*3855#
This will totally reset your phone to factory settings as a last resort.
I've installed Market 3.1.3 as u said, but now, nothing is loading up in market, and after 1-2 mins it says, "Connection time up" [retry]. Internet is working fine on other apps, like stock browser or YouTube.
I uninstalled the new market app.
Back to ground ZERO.
Like I said you could try *2767*3855#
In phone dialer. However this will reset your phone and delete everything.
I know this will be useless, cos, when i just bought the device and faced the problem i did reset to factory setting by *2767*3855# , and nothing happens...

Ah ok sorry I can't help.
same problem here...
very annoying since I love installing apps through the market web site.
anyway we can still download and install apps directly with the market App

Hi this is something to do with google services framework.
Yesterday I have tried clearing this data related to google services framework..to get 4.0.4 update but..nothing worked and I am ended up with your issue. May be updating phone software may solve the problem.
I can't believe there is still no solution for this problem....

Yes, this has been troublesome lately. However, it gets resolved automatically.
Jus delete the new market an let auto update yake place.

m also facing same issue just flashed new rom([ROM] CM7.2-RC3-APOCALYPSE [17.06.12] [FireKernel OC]) followed all steps well [flashed many roms lately ,but never came across this 1 ]
1.i can access play store from my phone ,butcant update any app
2.i cant install apps remotely ie from my computer it says "You don't have any devices."
as this is custom rom i really dnt know how 2 fix this issue of removing market.apk and replacing it with working apk..
can any1 help me on this issue
This happened to me after installing a secondary rom. Afterwards my primary ROM started showing me this when trying to install from play.google.com
Did a full wipe, installed just the primary and everything was working fine again.

I just flashed a new version of a ROM (on Galaxy III) but I got the no device message from my PC. I tried to clear data for Framework services and Play store no luck. Tried this suggestion and it worked right away! Thanks!

im on miui on my sg2..
ive tried the new market and old market etc and apps and games are missing and wont show up in search...
for example Fifa etc i had it installed not long ago and now it wont show up in app maeket on my phone..
also when it says 1xxx results it wont let u scroll past 30 or so.. anyone know a fix plz??

you need to check ur phone is rooted or not if not then make hard reset after root ur phone or upgrade...

My open vpn stopped working in past and i forgot why thought coz of network but now i remembered that i installed slaidmod in past and even read it has problem with open vpn later on, can some one tell me how too uninstall it i have deleted scripts from intd folder but still iys not working i am on themythics beta 2 , how should i make it too work i dont have any old backup either n don't have my pc with me too , can some one tell what should i do its urgent i am out of station

Maybe you can try to wipe your dalvik cache

Just figured it was turbo charger not slaidmod which version i don't know , will try dalvic cache , what else i can do to make it work
Hi guys that subject was mentioned a lot of time here,but there isn't a proper responde to that so I have Htc Sensation with AR HD 6.8.0,when i am trying to download some apps from google play it is downloading after few minuter i have error 495 I did everythink what was told about that her clear chache clear data even reinstal my rom it isnt working anybody have any idea what is that?I tried to download via wi fi also via pc please help me?

After I installed CM10 on my hd2, I'm having this problem.. Cant update or even download from store but browsing seems fine.. all the other downloading are also perfect.. Any solution other than clearing cache or data or uninstalling updates would be helpful.. Coz I've done all the usual steps. Please help..
I have had this issue for a long time now. I just used to decide that I'll wait till i get home and download over WiFi (which worked).
But that's not a solution!!!
On my JellyBean One X:
1. Go to Settings
2. In Wireless and Networks, tap on More
3. Select Usage
4. Tap on Menu in top-right corner and make sure Restrict background data is not ticked
5. Also, uncheck Limit mobile data usage (a message appears saying that all background data restrictions will be disabled).
It is the background data restriction that causes this issue (atleast for me).
I had done the whole shabang:
Clear google play cache, data, etc. re-login with Google account, reboot, etc. which didn't help.
This seems to have worked for me!
