im on miui on my sg2..
ive tried the new market and old market etc and apps and games are missing and wont show up in search...
for example Fifa etc i had it installed not long ago and now it wont show up in app maeket on my phone..
also when it says 1xxx results it wont let u scroll past 30 or so.. anyone know a fix plz??

you need to check ur phone is rooted or not if not then make hard reset after root ur phone or upgrade...

i hav this market prob since 4-5 days and hav done everything i cn do to download apps bt still i cnt. It shows downloading in status bar bt it dznt.
Hav wiped the dalvik cache and also uninstalled updates in tht app settings of market plus i ha also tried to download using data i.e over the Edge, yea thats wht we still hav here lol
anyways ppl plz help mie solve this prb. I hav done all these things more thn thrice also i hav upgraded and downgraded market 2-3 times bt still m unable to download apps.

I've had this a couple of times, this usually works for me:
Goto "Manage Applications", view all and select Market, then click the "Clear Data" button. I then reboot, connect to WiFi (very slow over normal data connection) and open the market app and it works.

me to gotta same prob, then when i Repaired by SEUC & Pc Companion,,then its vry fine now.. So u too try to do this.
Not trying to be a **** or anything, but could you use proper grammar?

This solved my problem too.
Download the latest market version 3.1.3 from http://www.filesonic.com/file/1741646154 and then install it using a file browser.. once you do don't launch it go to your app management in settings and clear data and press yes when it gives you the warning.. all done
I am new to Android world from BB. Found this is very interesting!
Sorry if this a newbie question, hopefully someone can help because I really noob about Android.
After get my phone, I start installing all "must have" app. Facebook, MSN, whasapp... all no problem. When I come across talkbox & tango, it just pauses there.
For detail, that is what I done:
1. search "talkbox" in "market"
2. click "accept and install"
3. normal app, it will come out a colour bar and show the downloading/installing progress. For "talkbox" or "tango", the colour bar just remains unchanged for hours.
Then I try install another app, say... "angry bird", it will line up after the previous "talkbox" that pause there. After I cancel the download/install of the "talkbox", the next app "angry bird" will continue download/install as usual.

The next, I get my friend to send me the "talkbox" via bluetooth, after finish transfer, I can install the "talkbox"!

Nvr came across dis type of question. Bt i would suggest u to u update ur market & try. If ur market is already updated uninstall d updates & c if its wrkin. If dis method doesnt wrk, wipe/factory reset ur fone.

1ª i wont to uninstall maps and other app that run automatic if i go to web, like maps , docs to go.

i alredy manage to install all app in to sd card only youtube i cant and gogle ply and gmail i did this with sdk adb shel using the command that change the storage place to sd card
but to do all the other things i need to have administration on the phone and i cant find any information on how to be administrator of my phone, i dont wont to unlok i only wont to have the possibility of say this app cam rum and this dont , like i can do on my htc with mobile.
if any 1 can hellp mi or link mi to the information i will be pleased

If u want change sth in/with system apps u need root (not unlock only root). Than u can use any app to stop internet connection for other apps or delete them (even system).
But i dont understand one thing: sayin that apps are starting when u enable data u mean that it start to sync or that it do it indepedently (maybe its wrong word)? Cause sync u can srop in account settings, but if u mean that apps starts when u dont want it - ive never heard about sth like this, sry

Hi , wot i mean it like this i am no using google maps for example e relay never use it when i go on line with wifi, the google maps don't start the app but starts the service in memory and google search and other app, if i stop them thy never go on until i went again on line with wifi ,
so i wont to un instal them or permanent stop the services of this app
So to uninstall u need root and eg. Titanium backup.
For stop network connection for app im using firewall from avast mobile security <- needs root

i already get root but i get without wifi to, i didn't backup my mac address, and now i am, doing the roll back so i get wifi and note the mac ,
i already get nv file backup QPST_2.7_366, and the mac its ok so now i can put it back if i get no wifi.
now its updating to last stock rom from zte OPT_P743TV1.0.0B13 then i will tray root and mess with all app i don't wont on my phone
the only thing its really get mi mad with android its this i am no admin of may phone, on my htc 3G i was able to install and uninstal all i wont and demand wot app i get on start up . and didnt have to get with all ads and app traing to send my location this is like the big brother of the real life

dam this thing, every time i get root i get no wifi , i did the 2 methods o know and i cant get wifi to work e edit the vn_4319,txt and i get DEADD00D_0.qcn with the correct mac the qnc file have the mac no nead to edit i cant see wot i am duing rong.

i just recetly replaced my Yarvik 260 tab due to a screen bleed had to get a replacment from the shop
i ended up with the Intenso 7" tablet i must say i do like it feels good it is responsive and fast

However the thing dose not have google play on it. this is rather a large prob for me as i need play to
use the apps i have payed for not many but i do use them an awfull lot....
this week i have sat on google trying to find a solution the closest i have found was the GPlay apk file
that was linked in a post i think on these forums.
play loads however it wont let me register my gmail account to play so it will not log in at all
is there any one with an idear on this issue at all......
Failing that any one know of a custom rom i can install on this tablet preff icecream as i have grown
to like that incarnation of android...
if any one has any info that would help it would be a god send at this point many thanxx peeps

nope i have not rooted it would not even know where to begin on this tab. Yes i have Gmail account regged on it.
when the factory reset is done the Google play is wiped from thetab and i am back to square one agen.....
but thanx for the sujestion
since u are running 2.3 u try to install android market apk and don't install playstore apk ........may be that might causing problem as playstore is latest one

did a factory reset an tryed what you sujested still the same result no go it loads an asks for an gmail aco**** i put it in the divce an get nuttin it is like ths store carnt link to the accounts i add to my divice :S
return back where u purchased and ask them to replace it ........first time I'm hearing this kind of problem .......if u can root I can suggest u some more methods .........if u don't want to take risk just go and replace it .....or else just use different Google account that might work ........format ur tabs SD card and factory reset and later login using different account
after rooting ,i went a lil crazy and somehow deleted my file manager and browser ,along with google play ,that was main obj..,now unable to open anything .so i tried adb install but cant seem to get it to work. anyone help me at least get a file manager installed would help.i have many apps on ex sd card but no way to access them thx in advance Jay .ps yes im verry green
