I want to request the developers that please add the screen rotation from portrait to landscape and vice-versa. like Iphone in the roms.
Iphone has great transition effect while rotating the screen
Also, android app, floating image, has this transition effects. anybody please add this effect.

well, Having a few problems with my lockscreen on RR, is there some-way to use a full screenshot as the lock screen, tried every way but it wants to crop it, and yeah I don't want it cropped :') any help would be amazing
In stock ICS, GS2 captures screenshots natively by pressing Vol.Down+Power button. It works anywhere, even on lockscreen; and the photos are full - not cropped.
it isn't the screen shot I'm having trouble with its that image for the lockscreen I'm having problems with
Resize your image to 480x800, or the same aspect ratio 0.6, it will still show the crop screen but the image will be full size.
Or perhaps add some blank spaces on the size to fit into the same aspect ratio.
Anyone knows if it's possible and if, then how, to achieve different layouts for portrait and landscape mode.
So basically whenever you rotate your screen (for the sake of example) in Nova launcher Prime, the layout could either separately be set up or it would switch from say 10x8 to like 8x10 or whatever you choose.
At the moment when you rotate the screen the portrait layout obviously looks pretty much messed up (see attachments for example of a messed up landscape layout).

Check out sslauncher - as far as I know, it is the only one where this is possible (completely independent layouts for landscape and portrait). Apex has the option to use different grid sizes in portrait and landscape, which can help in certain cases. But I personally use sslauncher because it simply is the most customizable launcher there is!
8 years into the future and still hasn't been addressed.... v7 is due soon, I'm crossing fingers, all of them.
Some themes have shortcuts that jumps to specific desktop pages, giving the illusion that there is only a single home screen.
The swiping gesture that changes the page breaks that flow with the transition animation.
It would be nice to be able either to disable the scrolling gesture or to be able disable page transition animations.

We would love it too! The only problem is that it's a very complex feature to implement, therefore it will take some time for us to work on it. Hopefully next year we will have more resources to add in features such as this Sorry about that!

I found this post, because it is exactly what bugs me in this launcher and it was frankly the only reason I stoped using it. I just installed it to see if this was resolved, but still not If only the transition effecet coould be disabled that would help a lot
I received Emui 10, it's really great, good looking and so, but, there are still major and minor features that could make Emui awesome.
I made a little list of what I would really love to see :
● Smart reply
● Change accent color
● Navigate in music notification from lockscreen
● Switch apps by swiping left or right from the bottom of the screen
● Quicksetting tile for : Dark mode, reverse wireless charging, battery saver
● Swipe down to access notification panel ( maybe implement swiping down from the edges )
● Schedule Dark mode ( + auto switching wallpapers for light and Dark )
● Force Dark mode in every apps
● Personalisation for AOD and Fingerprint look and animation
● Change the way of activating google assistant from the edges because it's conflicting with the one handed mode
● Get the little pop up for the auto rotate activation when it's off
I have missed a lot I think, reply with yours ?
I am sorry to break it to you, but they won't bother adding majority of the features you mentioned above.
However I would too love to see these features.

Yeah I know, but some of them are just Android 10 features that are missing , and that's what I really want, the others are just dream fonctionnalities that would make Emui really great
I will add to your list the Full Rotation meaning landscape even from the home screen (I have had a Sony XZ1 before and it was available from stock).

Just received First patch of the beta for Emui 10, they added a dark mode Quick settings , that's one tick in the list haha
I missed the Google like navigation gestures.
Some of the features were already announced and they are missing. Best example colorfull AOD
I would like to see the option of turning off the AOD notification for the fingerprint entirely, as you can with the S10 line. I don't like the way it flashes every time you move your phone and I basically know where my finger needs to go anyway.
Camera zoom (really?) via volume keys, more customizable settings like 16:9 resolution
Yes there is no clock style options in AOD..
