when i use the internet browser over wifi everything works fine.
But when i go in the seller central of the amazon site (i am seller on amazon), i enter my login and password.
it goes on the seller central main page.
when i click on "stock", it goes back to the login page....
and then i have a HP logo that appears on the middle of the screen (black screen) for about 30 secondes and then goes back to the webos desktop.
do you know what does mean the black screen with the hp logo in the middle ?

I have notice weird issues similar to this too. They seem to stem from a mishandling of cookies or something. I can't log into chase.com and if you click a link then back, it never returns you to the position you were when you clicked the link. Annoying to say the least

My HD2 is Acting SCARY!!!
It is automatically opening screens and opening applications. It is automatically calling people in contact list. I am not sure what is going on.
I put my HD2 to charging and noticed that though I had locked the screen, screen got unlocked in front of my eyes. Then phone opened random apps. Opened browser and started opening weather.com website and then opening many weather.com cities. It kept doing this.
I turned off the phone as I was freaked out. and rebooted and the samething resumed. This time it called people in my contact history. Then opened other apps.
The same thing occurrs with both Windows 6.5 or Android (I have dual boot). Phone even when screen locked, opens the screen and start doing wierd (scarry) stuff. I had to turn it off since I do not know what it will do next.
PLEASE HELP !!

I can record the same as small video and post it if that helps to debug.
No idea what caused the problems, but maybe a Hard Reset can helps.
And format your SD.
Is it near any other electrical equipment when it's charging? And is it the official charger, or a different type?

When did this start ? was it after flashing a certain ROM ? or HSPL'ing ? or even installing any app either on winmo or android ? Are you connected to a Public WiFi hotspot ? Does your phone wake-up from sleep? like pressing the button and typing your password (or patter if ur androiding) and does it deeds ?

ok so this is a little strange...
i installed 3 programs and one of them has changed the way this tablet works.
i noticed that now when it is turned on it displays the word "ENGLISH" in the middle of the screen and this never happened before i installed 3 programs:

Order and Chaos non official version -probably the culprit but i'm not sure
so my browser starts acting funny, giving me new popup screens above my password screens
and whenever i turn on the device it says "ENGLISH" on the screen. also it has been just connecting to the net and transferring information when not in use and when not ordinarily checking for updates
i tried to factory reset in the settings menu but when i turned it back on for the first time it displays: "ENGLISH" in the middle still... which means whatever was acting up is still there after a "delete everything factory reset"
if anyone could advise me of this it'd be GREAT thanks so much, or i can just return it and get a different pad
Whenever I boot my Prime after shutting it off completely, not just putting it to sleep, it shows "English" for a second on the screen as it is booting. Always has as far as I remember.
I don't have the browser issue you mention.

yeah, the browser thing is strange. it's like a second box to type in overlays on top of the typing field and i can see the words or passwords or whatever i'm typing in the overlayed box and part of them underneath in the mostly covered box.
i changed all of my passwords to all of my major accounts like ebay, paypal, gmail etc just in case but that started happening at the same time as the "english" word that now comes up whenever i turn it on and sometimes when i bring it back from sleep for over 5 hours.
For some reason, the browser back button doesn't work on some websites. I have tried every browser available, and they all have the same problem. It works fine on this website, but other sites it just sits there when I hit the back button.
Some websites have a java applet loaded that blocks the back button working. Try double clicking it (double tapping) it, so the applet doesn't have time to execute before the browser actually goes back.
Some websites detect a mobile device and forward you to their mobile site. Pressing back brings you to the page that initially forwarded you so you immediately get forwarded to the mobile site again. Long pressing back will bring up your history so you can use that to get back past the forwarding page.
This should be considered a browser bug as hitting back on an http 302 should skip all locations replying with the 302.

I've double clicked real fast and it ends up bringing me back to my homepage.
First i noticed that whenever i chat with someone over messenger, it starts calling them randomly while i type.
I thought it's about messenger and i cleared the cache and reinstalled it. Problem is still occurring.
Later, i noticed in one game that screen does that touch again - on the very same spot as in messenger - somewhere in the top right corner (where's the call button in messenger).
I turned off the phone, waited 2-3 minutes and then turned it on. Problem is still occurring.
I started service "thing" (found on the internet what to type in the dial to activate it) and tested the touch screen, everything seems to be okay. So from my experience it seems it's not hardware problem. Do you have any suggestion or experience with this kind of problem? I wish i could fix my phone
And one more thing, it happens only when i'm touching the screen too, it wont do that when i leave it alone and just watch the display.

So it's 6am here in the UK, and I went to check my phone as I'm waking up to find that the screen is acting up! It's been unplugged all night, and the night before I was searching google before just locking it and going to sleep. Before locking the phone, one of the web pages (atleast what I believe) was acting up, causing *their* page to make this weird grey, green and red lines over a chart I was looking at. I took no notice, went to sleep.
Turns out it's not the web page: scrolling in google, and most other apps now (including the settings) causes this weird glitching to occur.
Pretty much any UX and UI scrolling causes this, with the only solution being to close the app - it locks up the phone while the glitching animation occurs.
Any screen shots I get now are completely grey - really odd!
Thank god I am still in my 14 days - going to send it back.
What do you guys think? Return the device and get a different handset all together, or try again with the Mate 20 Pro? Happy to experiment with this if any of you want to know more.

So my phone specs are as follows:
Mate 20 Pro 128gb 6gb edition /w a 128gb nano sd card
Model: LYA-L29
Device: HWLYA
Some settings I had enabled when this first occurred:
I had the screen set to WQHD+ instead of the Smart resolution: since turning this back on, I have noticed the bug to occur less, but still occurs.
I usually have the notch set to default, as I quite like it, but since this has occurred, I have got 'hide notch' enabled
I do have the on screen display setting so I can see the clock when its locked.
I have restarted the device many times, sometimes I restart, I notice the gluegate issue, but it never occurred while using the phone, only while shutting down (green edges)
Chrome seems to be one of the main apps this occurs on, particularly when scrolling - It can even crash chrome too. Oddly, reddit seems fine.
When closing apps via the bottom right corner and swiping up, this bug has never occured.
FYI I've only had the device for about 2 weeks, (just under thankfully) so I'm hoping the new handset doesn't do this!
So I closed all the tabs on the phone, and also enabled 'eye comfort' mode (should have really done this one at a time) and it seems to have cleared up the issue in everywhere but chrome. It's nowhere near as bad, but not something i'd settle for. The current isse now is that chrome sort of stutters-ish. I'll post some more experiments in a minute.

Yes many times - sadly didn't help much.
The issue came back, so I'm currently talking to three to send out a replacement
So my new handset arrives on Monday: so I got the weekend to experiment with this handset. Hopefully possibly help some people in the future. I'll post some specs and models later along with some other videos.
Has your new unit solved these issues as I have the same also where the screen locks up and shows the image or something like a hundred times. In addition to the grey screen
