The New Android Market v3.1.3 [APK] - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

The updated Market v3.1.3 was just released a few hours ago!

Information:
1-The greatest new features for us is Now you can use an optional custom PIN for purchases on your phone, instead of leaving your Google Checkout wide open for anyone that picks up your device!or your phone is stolen,this is one awesome feature to have - and really, it makes a lot of sense.
2-Moving on to the thumbnail navigator, Google added a long-overdue sliding transition - a nice touch that makes the Market feel more polished.
3-The size in megabytes of each app, along with its latest update date, have been moved from the bottom of descriptions to the top of individual app pages, which is a very useful change!
4- It's Faster and smoother now ,better than the last version 3.0.27
Instructions:
1- Download The apk file From the Attachments
2- Move it to your sd-card
3- Using Root Explorer rename to Vending.apk and move it to your system/app,then set the right perm

What perm do I set? Can u give me some more steps please? I'm new to this, I get to copying market to system/app

The permission is rw-r--r-- or 644

Just install as an apk and upgrade.. It worked for me..!!

probably worth noting the 644 permissions not 744 (big mistake on my first try )
Also probably worth noting if it doesn't start - delete the application data and cache for market in settings ->applications -> manage applications

mmmm... crap, still doesn't work. after I installed it and put the right permission and cleared the market data and cache and rebooted.
Just says connection timed out (retry button) on me doing anything... fml.
Reverting to 3.0.27

Which is the latest version of Market compatible with pfonck's rom?
Hi,
I have the XPERIA X10 Mini Pro running pfonck's [ROM] 2.1.1.Clean.0.0 *FINAL*. I tried installing this market and my phone said error parsing and that it is not compatible with the phone. As pfonck's rom is 2.1 eclair, which is the latest version of Market compatible on pfonck's 2.1 eclair rom? Please could someone put it as an attachment in their reply?
