Works on 4.1 AOSP/JB ROMS ONLY
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Copy the file to the /system/app folder on your device using a root explorer like ES File Explorer or similar.
2. Then, set the permissions of the DeskClock.apk file to RW- R– R–. However, before you copy over the APK, make sure to rename the original DeskClockGoogle.apk file (and also DeskClockGoogle.odex if the file is present) to something else to back it up, which you can then restore if needed by simply deleting the new file and renaming the old one again.
3. Reboot your device to be able to use the new clock.
If you still got problems, follow this--
Flash the zip. Reboot.Delete the original clock. Rename the new clock to DeskClock.apk( like the old one) Then delete /data/data/com.google.android.deskclock. Reboot. Now the both the clock and widget will work perfectly.

many threads? no I think I made just 3 or 4 maybe.. Because I did not extract them from the dump..I just share from an extracted source,which released the apps one by one only..and hence..

Flashed on my Gnex with Liquid and it crashes when trying to access the alarms.
My old clock was not removed.
Will try to remove it and check if it works.
Edit: Frozen the old clock on Titanium and now it works great!

Going to try it on my CM10 infuse right now, will report findings.
EDIT: FAIL on both tries following normal apk or zip procedure. FC on reboot both times.
Not sure what's causing it, haven't looked into it yet.

OR manually delete /datadata/com.android.deskclock.

Yup, I needed this also to stop from getting "Clock has stopped." after reboot or when going to alarms. Quite nice now but think i'll keep TWClock... Just love Smart Alarm

Look at this and try to delete /datadata/com.android.deskclock or /data/data/com.android.deskclock, then reboot.

probably worth noting the 644 permissions not 744 (big mistake on my first try )
Also probably worth noting if it doesn't start - delete the application data and cache for market in settings ->applications -> manage applications

mmmm... crap, still doesn't work. after I installed it and put the right permission and cleared the market data and cache and rebooted.
Just says connection timed out (retry button) on me doing anything... fml.

I have the XPERIA X10 Mini Pro running pfonck's [ROM] 2.1.1.Clean.0.0 *FINAL*. I tried installing this market and my phone said error parsing and that it is not compatible with the phone. As pfonck's rom is 2.1 eclair, which is the latest version of Market compatible on pfonck's 2.1 eclair rom? Please could someone put it as an attachment in their reply?

Ok, it is even possible with stock ROM
But root access is needed. If you have it, i will provide you further step by step guide, if you want.

Here we go:
1.) Download Total Commander (TC) for Android (recommender, could also use others root capable FMs)
2.) Download the file SystemUI.apk located under this post and copy it wherever on your phones SD card
3.) On phone, go to the /system/app and locate SystemUI.apk and BACKUP IT! (copy it wherever on your SD card)

Optional step - if you are afraid of loosing your data and of "bricking" your device, i recommend you to enable usb debugging. Go to system settings -> Applicatons -> Development -> Enable USB debugging. It will appear in notification bar.

4.) Remount system as read-write and replace original SystemUI.apk with provided file.
5.) Set permissions for the SystemUI.apk as for all read-write (rw-rw-rw)
6.) Your phone will show a message, that process notification bar has crashed. This will loop, dont care about it, its normal.
7.) Pull out the battery, wait a while and turn your phone on.
8.) Enjoy!

Hmm, seems that it requires modified framework also. Tried it for test on my rom and it worked. PM me your original stock SystemUI.apk , I will mod it for you.
Befor i will finish it, restore your original SystemUI.apk with revese process.

Are you sure with this? I am sure that this is not nessesary with apps in /data/app path but dont know about system apps (even I am changing their res many times and doing some coding inside them). Maybe linux everytime marks apks as executable itself...
I am in PM with him, so will tell him about this. But maybe there is problem with extended toolbar inside notification bar - i thing it needs modded framework-res.apk for resources also.

SystemUI does only work in /system/app, and manually installing something in system require correct permissions.

Know that system apps like SystemUI.apk requires to be installed in /system/app and needs proper perms. As I checked that linux makes this automatically, thats why I didnt care about it anytime.

It's very beautiful this way, but I don't need it to be transparent.
I'd be glad if there was a SystemUI with brightness control that works with Stock 2.3.3 ROM without FC...
P.S. When installing apps in System folder, besides fixing permissions I soon reboot manually the mobile. This way I have no FC and it doesn't need removing the battery.

No, only 2nd system.
Successfully installed this on my 2nd system, got phone, internet, and data to work but its still pretty unstable for me. Here is what doesnt work (after 15 mins of playing around I went back to my CM9 based SVN ROM so I didnt do an exhaustive test):
Google play keep crashing before it opens
Settings>Apps crashes
Web browser crashes whenever I try to download a file
I will of course keep an eye on this thread as I am very keen on getting CM10 on my XT910.

The strange thing is that when I first installed the ROM data was fine but then I got no connection after about 10 mins. I installed the data fix which caused an FC with the android.process.phone. I then reinstalled the ROM and so far no issues with data in the past 2 hours.

im willing to guess the framework and ur systemui signatures would be a little different, as far as resolution, android is pretty good with that, dont think that would be a problem just the signatures. If you have a back up of ur systemui.apk and biztheme.apk you could try it.. I could make a version for ya, I would need 4 files from your phone tho. and thanks! glad to help out in some way :good:

If you use my files without using apex/nova launcher yes all widgets work, but you will have the stock lg launcher, but if you use apex/nova they wont

ok.. i have an idea, if you guys could make me a zip with the file name of the variant model and firmware version, i could make this theme for all variants, this will take a bit lol. and i haven't slept in over 24 hours but ill get it done :silly:
the zip must include these 4 files from your phone
system/app/

and you guys with other versions will be essentially beta tester so ya let me know

brings me error, the system bar gets dissapeared.
so the only way to change the background of the menus (ex. in Biz theme are white-grey) is to install another launcher;

after the bar disapears, reboot your phone. after reboot it should be ok.. did you reboot n get the error on bootup?

i installed gave me error, rebooted gave me error, 2nd reboot didnt tried
yes i get the error on bootup and the system bar is dissapeared,
i will try now again and make 2 reboots

K beta up you really only need to replace the systemui.apk with new 1... tell me how it goes!
Ok now it works, what have u changed in the systemui.apk i cant find much of a difference. I also notice that these launchers are faster than the stock One. Also with nova launcher 3 of 4 widgets i use work, strange that weather widget is not working. Anyways what conserns me is that for Example. Systems menu the background is still the stock whity. Can this be changed ;

Glad it works!!... it was a signature problem, you wont be able to see that change unless you de-compile the apk, also as far as nova/apex. they wont take up more ram than lg launcher. For example i have deleted lg launcher, and have noticed better performance and am able to free up more ram by using the alternative. And about the white in settings menu background. I could change that but what lg used i think looks clean, as many cellphones as i have used its a nice change maybe why i liked sense 4.x htc does the same thing. Anyway Glad ti works Now have to take p760 out of beta!!... more to come tho!

this theme can be used with both stock launcher and apex/nova, if you want the complete look of JB/ICS apex/nova is the way to go

I'll try to get the system dump and extract some of the apps from the dump to port it to our devices as it's not a big difference of the android version which is 4.2 and you already have seen that i can extract some apps from 4.2 to 4.1.2

I had copied the .zip to /system/media with permissions rw-r-r and didnt work
Copied the three folders part0 part1 part2 and changed the permissions for the folders and all the .png's
Didnt work again

just download my bootanimation.zip and paste it in system/media thats it reboot and see the magic
one more thing i created this thread coz i have downloaded both the Google edition of both Doid giants and the new leaked 4.3 Rom too both droids Dumps and that way i'll see which apps are compatible and will keep this thread updated with all working files, apps libs anything needed from those dumps for it to work on our Sammy

you should have root, you should be on jellybean... and further more have a custom kernel like cocore to support bootanimations... it's working on my phone...

Panorama, Photosphere were not actually good
Gallery has no face tag option which is available in stock gallery
And photaf app is better than this panorama.
