T-mobile Germany offers an update for their MDAII modells on their homepage:
http://www.t-mobile.de/downloads/1,1953,7483-_,00.html
Good for all, who own a MDAII, not an XDAII like me. :x
According to their homepage it fixes the following problems: (translated into English):
Optimisation of data rates on sending files vie GPRS
serial Bluetooth profile
Optimisation of sending SMS to divers contacts
Improved video-streaming
MSN messenger security update
New ROM 1.60.07
Has anyone tried this? Since it is the official T-Mobile ROM update to the MDA2 that most of us have, should it work better? I am also really curious if it fixes the GPRS logging off problem introduced by the first ROM update.
Any comments?

english or German ROM ???
It is an english or a German ROM ???
This is a German Upgrade.
I wanted to try upgrading my XDA I having ROM-Version 4.01 on it - the Upgrade File says "there has been a problem - soft reset your device and try again" for almost 5 times now. Is there no way of doing that?
I have noticed that the nk.nbf has a different size than the usuall one in the RUUv2.04b_CEv4.01.00wwe_VS_Ozone_Test_(Integrate_Radio_6.24.01) for example.
Can anyone help, please?

This is an update for the mda2 not the mda! :?
Sounds like the German MDAII ROM update 1.60.07 has the Bluetooth COM port fix, but the Carrier Devices update version 1.52.00WWE also released recently does not.
I set up the new T-Mobile ROM 1.60.07 to load on my I-Mate, but it showed that the CE version and RS version were the same as on the 1.60 ROM which I previously installed. The only difference was in the extended ROM which was newer (and I assume German T-Mobile specific). Can anyone verify if the CE version is actually updated in this German ROM or just the T-Mobile icustomization layer. If only the later, is there anything in there worth a look?

Can you tell us please if this official German upgrade is in German or in English?
Yo BarnOwl (and others),
It's German. I have been testing both the unofficial English one and the official German one. Both have OS revision 1.60.00 and Radio Stack 1.06.1. The only difference is the Extended Rom version, 1.60.06 for the English one and 1.60.07 for the German one. Only a marginal difference in the provider settings, nothing more.
Same goes for the leaked Dangaard Qtek version. Again OS revision 1.60.00 and Radio Stack 1.06.1, only the Extended Rom is version 1.06.21, but again, mainly Qtek OEM specific stuff. Not worth the fuss, and due to the (still unsolvable) Country ID errors mainly internesting for QTek owners.

Has anyone upgraded to the O2 Trion Upgrade 1.25.207.1?
If so, any information on the upgrade would be appreciated.
dont make me weak, isnt it the same version as its out of now from O2???
Isnt it this thread? Here
I have 1.23.707.1 date 6/28/06
Did updated the radio to 1.16
Where is 1.25? and what are the differences with 1.23?
Thanks
Eric
It's available here or on o2online.de
I think it's more stable. Additionally my UMTS connection is much better than before I upgraded - but I think this is because of the RadioRom upgrade to 1.16
I am with i-mate, I don't want german windows
I do not think it is a german version
My O2 trion (from Germany with German keyboard) has an english software....
Eric
It's been running on my trion for 11 days by now. Less stability issues than in my 1.21 original ROM and no noticeable problems. Anything I should check for?
... ahm - and it definitely _is_ a German version of WM5.
http://www.qtek.dk/page.php?c=23
Here you can read that a new firmware is avaible to htc s310, but where do i download. I tryed to register to the site but the IMEI in wrong when i reg. (Im sure that i write correct)
No one know?
Is this firmware wm6 (crossbow) ?

wtf
HTC Europe answered me:
The update that you speak of is simply the release ROM for the Danish version of the S310.? HTC have not yet released a ROM update for the S310 and as such what you request does not exist.? Please keep an eye on the HTC website, as any ROM update that is released for the S310 would most likely be released there.
I own a Jasjam. Yesterday just as a routine check I went to the imate site for the Jasjam ROM update. The page says "This page is under construction"
Same was today the page is still under construction.
By any chance does this mean that we will soon see a new ROM update and the site administrators are busy uploading the new ROM or is is just wishful thinking.
Regards
It's been like that since last week. I spoke with i-mate support but they didn't give any hints on what they're doing with the ROM updates pages.
Visited this page again. The site under constitution message is gone and it clearly states that AKU 3, WM5 ROM will soon be available.
Regards
1. The Arabic and WWE ROMs linked from the download page are not available on the public ftp site (yet?) and these look like Extended_ROMs.
2. The Arabic Extended_ROM looks to be an updated version: JASJAM_Arabic_1.31.304.101.zip, while the WWE ditto looks like the old version from 22/8/2006 (the latest is dated 23/1/2007). These links probably needs registration.
I am posting this through GPRS and am paying by the kilobyte so can't afford download/upload of this ROMs.
i-mate has changed the wording of the ROM download page. Previously it said that they will soon be release an AKU3 ROM. Now it says:
We shall soon be releasing a newer version of software for English and Arabic, incorporating some bug fixes and new features, so please check this page periodically.
Note the absense of "AKU3" and "ROM". It could mean:
1) Just an Extended_ROM update
1) It will be yet another AKU2.3
2) It will be WM6 (Highly unlikely.)
Seems like HTC has a new ROM for the asia market.

Well the file name says WWE in it, so I might give it a go.

Ok, stupid question, but is this WM6.1? Someone was indicating WM6.5 and it got people confused.
That's what I like to know as well.
