I don't know what is wrong but my turn over to mute incoming calls and sms is not working. Tried to recalibrate the g-sensor but it is still not working.
Rooted and perhaps I accidentally uninstalled some linked apps throught TB? Can anyone help?
Thanks
Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Samsung SGS2 has that function, unless you install a 3rd party software.
There is such a build in function in HTC's newer phones though.
It does have that function and it was working well before. No 3rd party software is required. I only began experiencing such issues after I uninstalled some apps via TB.

Hi everybody,
For some reason, on my X10 mini pro, making outgoing calls is no longer functional as it should be.
I'm making a call, and when the other end picks it up, I'm abled to hear the 2nd side but he isnt abled to hear me, though the same wont apply when having an incoming call, both sides hear each other (though I heared complains about low vocal volume..)
For now, I have attempted to make a factory reset, which seems to have worked.
Yesterday, I have done the same to the phone (factory reset) and brought up all of the apps I needed, make a call test, then went to CWM and had a restore.
Today when I've recovered it, the problem still presist and I dont know if its something releated to apps that I have installed, or some wierd behaviour of the phone... (tried plugging out the bat, didn't do.)
Sim card is fully functional since I had no problems making a call after a factory reset.
Anyone can assist me locate the problem and quarantine it?
Thanks in advance,
Ron
AGH!!!!!!!!!! Problem solved!!
Found out that viber is apperantly causing this trouble, by uninstalling it and home-calling test, seems it cured the problem... GONNA POST SOME MAJOR BUG REPORTS TO VIBER AGHK!
Mhm... submitting a ticket to viber support,
And a reply ;
"Altered, or customized ROM units are not supported by Viber. Nevertheless, we have heard of success
stories from our users. Our recommendations to you would be to uninstall and re-install [try again]. Or to find the proper customization which works best with Viber. Returning the ROM back to the it's original settings is of course the best option."
Any ideas why this is caused on my MiniCM6 (Cyano) mod on my X10 mini pro?
I'd really like to use the program...
"Long-pressing" Bluetooth earpiece call button is no longer launching "Voice Talk". I can't get any help from Samsung or AT&T. All I can find through Google searching are people trying to disable the feature. But I like it, and I want it back. I thought I might have accidentally messed up a setting, but after factory resetting the phone it's still not working. How can it go from working, to not working? I'm still using the same brand new Plantronics Bluetooth I was using when it was working. Thanks for the help.
I have noticed this also. I'm on s8 and assumed it had something to do with the custom ROM but maybe not. I hope someone knows more than we do and knows how to fix it.
I figured out my problem. I had installed BTmono, to listen to music through the earpiece. Once I uninstalled it, all went back to normal. Try looking for any Bluetooth related programs you may have installed.

My Streak has developed a serious problem; 90% of the time when I make a call I cannot be heard by the recipient. When I receive calls all is well; communication works in both directions. But whenever I instigate the call I can hear the second party clearly, but they cannot hear me. Is this a known problem, can anyone suggest any possible causes?
Many thanks.
I have the exact same problem sometimes. Thinking of going back to 360.

360? What's that?
360 is the version number of one of the stock ROMs available for the Streak and is the last official ROM Dell produced for unlocked Dell Streak units.
As for your problem, we need a few details such as what ROM you're running so we can attempt to troubleshoot a bit.
Ah yeah, of course. Thanks. My Streak is not rooted. It's an O2 phone in the UK, running Android 2.2.2 (OEM version GAUSB1A135100).
I'm going to recommend a factory reset. But, while you're at it, you might want to think about upgrading to 360 if you don't want to try one of the Gingerbread custom ROMs.
Thanks Strephon for the advice. I think I'll probably take that route.
Anyone who followed this thread may be interested to know that I've discovered the cause of my one-way-calls-only problem. I have the app "Sanity" installed which I use for recording phone calls. Despite popular belief to the contrary, it records calls very well and both parties can be easily heard. However, when I disabled the call record function of the programme my one-way calls problem stopped immediately.

Same problem, different app (Auto voice recorder I think). Uninstalling solved my problem, thanks !
Hi guys. I have a peculiar problem in my new Galaxy S3. Whenever I make a call, the screen remains on even though I have ticked the 'Auto screen off during calls' option in call settings. Also, whenever I input any numbers while in a call, the keypad does not hide. I mean I get the 'Hide' option but it doesn't do anything and the keypad stays on the display. Can anyone tell me if this is a known issue or am I the only one facing it? Is there any workaround this? I am on stock firmware (XXLF2) and haven't even rooted my phone yet. Please help me guys!
I have exactly the same problem. I know the proximity sensor works, because I tried the proximity sensor test app. But my phone does not turn off screen when in call.
i have same problem any one help us ?
I also have this problem.. and to make it worse, I can't seem to call out occasionally. I swipe to call, but nothing happens. I can't even dial out at times.. rebooting usually solves the issue, but the problem quickly comes back.
I'm not rooted, on stock rom. Anyone know what the issue is?
OK, it looks like for me, it was a conflict between Google Voice and the phone. Turning it off/disabling it fixes the problems I've been having. I'll have to see what exactly is causing the conflict, but at least everything works with it off.

Where exactly is the option for turning off Google Voice?
I looked in Applications All but couldn't find it.

Check under 'Voice', not Google voice. It's also an option on the Voice widget.
If that doesn't fix it, try rebooting and doing it again.

'Voice' was my search pattern. It's got to be there I'll find it.
Hi guys,
Did you find a solution to this problem yet? I have the same problem, and no matter what I do, I can not make it work. The screen is always on during a call. I am using the stock rom, without root, as it is.

Nevermind. I fixed it by removing FSC ID, apparently it was interfering.
i had the same problem but it was fixed after i made a phone restart.
I have the same problem...
I have had my ham2 for over a year and recently have the problem where I can't be heard unless it's on speakerphone. This is when I use the phone or attempt to use voice recognition such as Google now. I tried hard resetting and using different programs but nothing helps. It has 5.1 installed. Any help would be appreciated
IF its stock Rom I would say your mic has died. If you have CM installed try wiping and reinstall. This being after you make sure you dont have an app that has it disabled etc.
