[Q] How much is your dedicated user available space? - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

just to clarify my own doubt, can u guys post whats ur user available space? no matter what rom u use, stock or custom, post it here please. btw to know how much is urs, just open default taskmanager and see on summary tab.

Around 15mb left on system rom
40mb internal
I have around 80 apps installed.
Using gingerreal which has been the best rom for me when it comes to free space.

Seems strange. Normally you could call it a formatting change: ext4 uses up more space for allocation than ext4, but this isn't ROM specific. Perhaps Samsung switched to a different supplier for their flash memory, perhaps due to Japan tsunami and earthquakes, as that is/was where quite a large supply came from.

Even better is the time delete
I'm sure it's possible.
I could easily make one that reads 100, 80, 60, 40, 20 & 0, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.
I don't know how to edit xml for android, but I'm guessing that there's code that updates the stat_sys png's based on the battery's status. That would have to be moded to show the reading from the battery status.

Congrats on the post count and thanks for the clock-less taskbar. Took a few minutes to load up but woohoo, no clock.
Making your clock look like this is quite easy. Pull your framework-res.apk from whatever rom you're using, change the file ending to .zip and edit the image files from drawable-mdpi. Rezip and push the file back. Bing. Bang. Boom.
Gonna try the clock-less taskbar. Let's see if it works and Hope no other issues pop-out.
Thanks in advance

2x means "two times" everywhere, but obviously he cant have twice available ram. if he does ... i want it too!
You can also reclaim some megabytes by integrating dalvik cache to system...use titanium backup...also...get apps2rom from market and integrate some apps from data partition to rom ...but it is irreversible...I m not responsible.

Maybe it means that he has 20 to 29 Mb available?

the ram is onboard. if u can reprogram the phone and solder the ram to the main board then it is possible
It isn't possible at all, the memory isn't on the board but sitting on top of the CPU and connected through the substrate. It's not possible outside of an industrial level.

Happy now. Mine is low too. Stock Rom unrooted. But the others are right. Benchmark's are pointless. I know my phone is fast by the way it performs, not by what some program tells me. I also think that result is wrong. Now I'm not a programmer or anything, and don't even know what half of that **** is. But judging from the other scores, it's probably a bug in the program that's scoring that one result wrong. All the others look fine, just that one.

This is excactly what i wanted, someone to confirm this too...
Here it is, mine is low too...
Im no developer but you know, Samsung has a non standard implementation of internal memory /external sdcard, so maybe that's why we get low scores...
Not important anyways, I have done some copying within internal memory and sdcard, and between each other, and it's very fast...
EDIT: Btw, comparing my scores with the the one from the guy above, there's a huge difference... Not that it matters anyways... Its only numbers...

Thank's man...
Well this doesn't test the sd card,it tests the /data partition that's why these scores look like something to be worrired about...
HEre is mine,
this app has no option to select internal /external separately
My values are totally on par with published photos (I got worried too, then I found this thread, God bless search) - I even changed ROM from InsertCoin to CyanogenMod 10.1 to see if it changes anything. It doesn't. Thanks for info, OP.
Galaxy S3 international, btw, I forgot how my signature looks like, lol...
Does that help ? got it yesterday while testing out lagfix (which i can say it does nothing for us, as we have proper trim support in our emmcs)
ps: Benchmarks are stupid, they don't mean anything and they can easily be faked with just the right settings / variables.
