Try wipe battery stats in recovery.

its your battery for sure . my old x10 battery was 2008-09 manufacture and recently did that. Get a new battery, or you can wait about 5(?) days after you take out the battery and put it back in and it'll charge. i dont know why, dont ask me, but thats just from personal experience.

Before getting a new battery, try to wipe your battery stats in Xrecovery. I believe this should fix your problem. Or else a more effective way should be re-flashing the rom again (use flashtool for that). All the best

But it would not be good for the battery as people say whenever u plug in the charger then dnt plug off till the battery is 100% charged.

I have encountered this problem too. I turned off live wallpaper and fency widget and everything worked fine. You could turn them on after full charged. I find live wallpaper really drained battery fast.
Thanks for the suggestion. I dnt use live wallpapers so it is not a problem. But for widgets You mean to say that before charging I should remove the widgets and then add them back after every charge. It would be hectic. Or there is a way to 'turn off' the widgets.

I wouldn't worry about that on Lipo or Li-ion batteries... in fact its good for the first 10 -15 charge cycles not to charge them to full (it makes the battery last longer.)
If it were an old Nimh or Nicad then yes.. best to make it flat and charge to 100% not the case with new batteries, feel free to top them up when ever you like and un plug them befor they get to 100% (only rule with Lipos and li-ions is not to run them completely flat.. they don't like that)

I am planning to buy a new battery bcoz the one i got is not showing accurate charge and stays on 1% most of the time from the first day.If someone knows a website from where i can buy a battery that can show correct charge reading on the battery indicator plz do tell me.I would also like to know if there is a extended battery that shows the correct charge and can fit in stock battery cover.
Thanks
Have you tried fully draining that battery? I was having the same issues where my phone would hang at one percent. But after a full drain it can solve the issue. After draining try to charge it to one hundred.

I have tried that many times its not working for me and i don't think so it will work bcoz when i checked the total capacity of the battery in a root explorer charge-full-design is only showing 500 which should be 1880.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1554966
Follow those instructions first then see how it acts. sounds like you just need to recalibrate
I have followed this and almost all other battery calibration tutorial threads given here but nothing worked.
When its is fully charged or says it is what mv reading do u have?

The phone charges to 100 % before reaching the total mv but when i keep it on charge for more time it charges to 4200mv.Actually battery life is fine just like a normal battery the only problem is that the phone doesn't recognize it as 1880mah battery that's what i think bcoz charge-full-design is 500mah which should be 1880mah.
If you do end up buying a new battery, try and buy one from Motorola. There may be off-brand companies with low-priced one, but they most likely will not old a charge for as long as an OEM battery.
I'm not convinced the battery is at fault I think its a issue with ur current rom

I bought two Anker ones on Amazon and they came with a charger that charges them outside of the phone as well. Three batteries and an external charger and you're ready for anything. Haven't noticed that they last longer, but if you've got enough, it doesnt matter how long they last

Nope, hasn't happened to me. Maybe try some recalibrating or something or wipe your battery stats... Mine have been totally normal ever since I got them

If u have a rooted atrix can check how much value charge-full-design is showing with ur Anker battery.
/sys/class/power_supply/batter/charge_full_design.
Hello peopel, first of all sorry for my english.
I have a problem with my S2 - all the time he say he is charge
but he is not connected to the computer/charger.
when i do charge and i reach 100% battery, he tell me to disconnect,
so i disconnect but the warrning not going off.
he still think he is getting charged.
The battery now goes from 100% to 0% in like 3-4 hours of avarage use.
i tried new Rom/Kernel/charger/usb cable/battery
nothing helped.
Any ideas?
Two easy jump conclusions:
1. Battery needs replacement OR
2. You need to reset battery stats in CWM if you haven't done that for a long time.

You mean it is charging even though it is not connected to anything? Some people reported a problem similar to that. They just cleaned the charging port with a dry toothbrush. Maybe something is in the charging port that causes the phone is still charging. Or if you mean it is 100% all the time then this is the first time i have heard of this issue. Are you on stock rom? Are you rooted? Can you give us any further info?

as "@ephraim033" said, if the phone is saying that "is charging", but the charger isn't pluged in, you have to clean the micro usb port, because it is full of dust
i red some diffrent idea about battery and i got confused ! which one is better for battery health?
1-when battery is 30-40% connect to charger for full charge
2- when battery is about 1-10% connect to charget for full charge .
Just don't empty the battery ( 0% ).. idk if it's true, but a lot of people advised not to empty battery cause it's Li-ion..
I suggest you charge as soon as the phone notifies that it can be charged

Li-ion doesnt have memory effect so it isnt important when you charge it, imagine if jou have car dock you charge it every time you put the phone
in and the batery is still ok.
Every few months I empty the battery completely and charge it from zero and I do this because after flashing lots of firmwares etc the battery seems to give funny readings. This might not be correct procedure but it works for me.

Hi,
Recently I upgraded my HTC rezound to ics 4.
I saw that the new ROM is operating well and it looked good, however the battery was low.
I tried to charge it, but it wouldn't charge with a variety of chargers, until the battery was completely dead.
I bought a new one - but that won't charge either. I also tried to charge the battery with an external charger - and it worked, which means that somehow when the battery is inside the phone - it won't charge.
Does anybody knows this problem? What could it be?
Thanks!
i guess the micro usb connection damaged

Yeah. It think it's been fixed but definitely on older versions if the battery was dead it wouldn't recharge in the phone.
Another thing it could be is if the charging port was damaged during the s-off process. I recently read that that has happened to some people.
