I just bought 16 GB touchpad and I tried skype video calling. My picture is blurry on the other end. Anyone else facing same issue? If yes is there any resolution/fix?

I dont thimk its the connection...mine and my gf have the same issue...I think the engadget review one did as well...I'm hoping that its a software issue...its definitely NOT the internet connection...at least in my case

The camera on this thing is horrible! Blurry and extremely choppy. Is it like this on all the touchpads? The galaxy's 0.3mp camera looks better than this one
Uhhh, because it's Skype? did you actually try the camera app?
What did you expect? It's a 1.3MP camera

Hey, someone over in the EVO forum posted the new yahoo messenger app that includes video chat from the leaked mytouch HD ROM. It appears to function using the rear camera on the vibrant.
Haven't been able to test it out fully yet cause I don't know anyone who actually uses yahoo messenger.
Hopefully someone can get this working with the FFC Mod as it should allow phone to computer video chat.

Likely the build.prop will needed edited like it does for fring & tango to work correctly with the FFC mod.

tested on vibrant.....quality sucks but it works for sure but both parties should have camera

Combine this with the TV Out option and should even allow you to see the screen while you faced the rear camera toward you in a dock or something. An obvious advantage would be no computer / PC webcam needed at least.
I have tried to sign in with my screen name and my wives. The app always says that there have been too many sign in attempts and that the login from the device has been temporarily disabled.
me and my friend tried it (both with vibrant FFC Mod) after changing the build.prop and it works but doesn't seem to detect FFC. It uses the rear camera and not able to switch between front and rear cam even though I see the option to. Tango works however
Tried this yesterday between a PC and my Vibrant on 3G. Works great, but only with rear camera. Haven't done the FFC mod. Video quality is so-so, but I'm glad to have something that I can talk to my PC buddies with (still mourning the loss of Skype in Fring). The video is a plus. Can't wait for this to become a public app.

I use Tango. I think skype video is coming out soon too
Kind of silly to release hardware like that without built in companion software to use with it?
if you go into setting in the camera app, it allows you to use the front facing camera
Fring, Yahoo IM, Tango(this is what I use for now) I think Qik is in the market also , hope this helps

Yahoo messenger works but only on wifi and 3G. if you are on 4G, the app force close
i just wish skype would release their app with video calling support, like NOW!

Fring does not use the front camera on the TB... Yahoo is too small on the screen and Tango sometimes has issues... Also, QIK in the market is NOT the video chat version. Currently there is no version of QIK for the TB that gives you video chat... So stupid... Release this thing with ZERO choices!

im on pays v6 and with lgcamera the videos are not viewable, the stock camcorder closes as i open.

Although the phone has no front facing camera, I have attempted to use yahoo messenger and video feed was showing on screen but I'm not sure it I had connected, if live feed would of worked..than again if it does work the only thing is the user on the other side of the conversation only sees what's behind the users reach

yahoo video chat working on my optimus one(non rooted)
with the latest update of ym chat/voice and video plugin from google play finally it worksssssss on my OPTIMUS ONE unlike before.. but the only problem is the tilted video in sideways no matter what angle i position the phone it always tilt sideways.. but the video quality is good.. tried it with my brothers laptop and i was calling from my optimus one..

I recently loaded a debloated rom (found here on the website) and noticed that when I video chat, I cannot switch to my rear camera.
Did they take away that option?
Or could it be caused by that FCC "fix" that was posted when everyone was trying to fix the video chat from being sideways?
can anyone tell me if their camera, when using gtalk has the option to switch to the rear camera?
Did u find your answer? I haven't used gtalk but both cameras work fine on other programs I use..
