My screen feels a little sticky and cleaning it with a microfiber cloth isn't helping. Is there some type of solution I can use or buy?
Use a moist napkin or paper towel wipe your screen. Dry it then use a microfiber to clean. Then stop picking your nose before you touch your phone

Rub a little baby powder on your hands it will help keep your screen from getting greasy it will also make it feel super slick.

There are also many LCD screen cleaners for TV's and such. They work great for the phone. Just don't spray it into the speaker and you are good. I then wipe it with a microfiber. Works great!

Can you recommend a particular one?
I have this solution that came with my glasses plus a wiping cloth. Any type of fluid for wiping down any particular screen (glass) would work wonders.
Like the above said, watch out to not to get the solution inside any holes and focus on the glass.
i just use a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol.. Not sure how good it is for the GG but hey it works well..
I use eye glasses cleaner works great the also have disposable ones kinda like wet wipes

I have a spray bottle filled with 50/50 rubbing alcohol and distilled water. I use that for all my screens (phone, lcd, plasma, crt). Very cheap and works great.

Do you mean remove the scratches with grinding paste? The screen has a coating on it to help stop oils from sticking to it, and this is most likely what was scratched off. If you used a grinding paste I think this would take that coating off.
My s3 screen is the perfect size for me feals like a mini tablet only problem is im worried it will break.
Now should i get an otterbox or anouther case to protect it?
I've been rocking with the cruzerlight TPU case for a while now and it does wonders. Doesn't make it too thick, adds grip, and is very protective, check it out

Dont worry man.
Its gorilla glass... wont break so easily.
I already dropped mine a hundred times. It hasnt got even a scratch.
Still, if you want to protect it that much, use a screen protector and put a case around your phone that covers your phone a little from front. This way, even if your phone falls, your screen will not have direct contact with ground and it wont break.
Bump lol.

Bro, are you serious that you had drop your S3 for a hundred times? I had watch drop test video from Youtube, the S3 broke once it's drop. But I admit that gorilla glass 1 had a very strong screen. But not gorrila glass 2 which using in S3. Correct me if I had wrong.

Hey Guys, I recently bought the clear protector for my phone and I really liked the quality of the product. I have to peel it off 3 times as I had to return my phone! reapplying it after removing it so many times didn't affected the adhesive at least in my case! I am really impressed! Go to http://www.clearprotector.com/phone-protectors/lg/optimus-g-at-t.html
Also, use the discount code:iwantultra

yeah! You need soapy water solution to apply! Also, it can go without the solution, but once it sticks to the phone..... it will be hard for you to align it!

I`m interested in that topic too.
There are several parts that must be cleaned :
1. White plastic on sides - I`v read that you can use Mr. Clean Magic Erase, but there is nothing like it in my country ! What would happen if we use a micro fiber towel and alcohol or water ?
2. Speaker grills - someone says to use a toothbrush and alcohol again.
3. Aluminium parts - my beats logo is awful after several days ... scared of using nail polisher ... any ideas ?
Well nail polish will remove paint in no time so no good on that and I noticed the speaker grills do get dirty as often as anything else on the phone and I think toothbrush is bad cuz it could insert alcohol in ur speaker holes and eventually messing up ur speakers

Hi guys.. here is a good way that I use to clean my silver HTC one. Use a none hard cloth such as very soft micro fibre then apply a little baby oil to the cloth and lightly clean the Ali body not the screen , after that finish of with wiping the body of your HTC one with a dry clean micro fibre cloth.. not only it will clean you HTC one it will not damage and leave it looking nice.. I have done it and it's a method I used to clean silver and ali washing machines when I was in the trade. Hope this helps but same old warning try at your own risk.

I use cloth baby wipes. But I don't know how your getting yellowing. Then again I keep my baby clean.

Well I'm a painter so maybe I just get some slight paint but I don't think so n I heard baby wipes are bad because they are not static free so they cuz messed with the pixels
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
This is why I got it in black (although black has other issues like visible finger smears and any dust shows up easily especially if it gets caught in the speaker grills. Actully my question would be how to clear the grills if and when it happens).
Plastic bristles usually find them in home depot or Lowe's well my sides really suck they r a dirty white ugh

No issues ever. Why would cleaning the white part of the phone the a wet full "cloth" wipe cause issues from the side of the phone with your screen? Are you trying to clean the chips inside the phone? Wipe gentle. All cloth wipes can be found at Wal-Mart. Under $2.
Wipe off with cleaning cloth. No probe. Looks brand new.
