[Q] bluetooth car kit disable ring stream - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.. i just got my sgs2 after using blackberry 9100 and the infamous nokia n97.
I am using Parrot mki-9200 car kit which supports a2dp.
in the two other phones i could stream music but the ring for msgs and other notifications were not transmitted (ideal).
However now with the sgs2 every notification is being transmitted to the car kit and the radio stops playing for a few seconds. it's really annoying..
anyone knows a workaround/solution?
Thanks a lot.

Hero with Bury car kit

Hi
Has anybody successfully paired their Hero with a Bury CC9060 car kit so that it plays music please?
I have just bought myself a used car that comes complete with this car kit. I connected by BT straight away with no problems - it even managed to sort of synch my phone book. It says I am connected for both phone calls and media, i.e. both handsgree and A2DP profiles (which the Bury supports).
Phone calls work well on handsfree profile but I can't get any sound out of the media that uses A2DP profile - either my music player or my sat nav directions. They think they are connected because there is no sound coming from the phone loudspeaker and because the music player on the Bury stops and starts the music player on the Hero. Everything except sound!!!!!
Not too worried about the music player but I am getting no directions from my sat nav (Sygic Mobile Maps) or camera warnings. I really need this function. Have spent all day pulling my hair out trying to cover all the bases.
Any ideas would be welcomed please.

Navigation and bluetooth

So I have a shiny new Legend, and am very happy with it. I quite frequently use my phone handsfree in the car, and have a Parrot MKI9100 car kit installed. This seems to work well.
I also use my handset as a Satnav. My last phone was a Nokia E71, and when navigating whilst connected to the Parrot kit voice commands muted the stereo, presumably by the HFP/HSP protocol. I have installed both google navigation and Navigon on the Legend, and have hit a problem. The voice commands from the software seem to be sent over the Bluetooth Streaming (A2DP) protocol and so do not cause the Parrot to mute the stereo, unlike the commands sent over the handsfree protocol from the E71.
Is there any way to force the voice commands over the handsfree protocol, or do I have to resign myself to satnav via the Legends (rather quiet) speaker?
Thanks!

Parrot CK3000 wont stream music on the car speaker

I have Parrot CK3000 bluetooth hands free car kit install in my car I can play & hear music from the speakers when I connect to my Nokia n700, but when I connect to my HTC Hero music wont play on car speakers it will play on the speakers of the phone. every thing else works when I receive call it will go to the speakers the only problem is the music,
My Hero runs VillainROM 5.4
any idea
Simple answer is that it won't work - I used to have a Parrot CK3000 and could not get it to work. Music from the Hero is transmitted using the A2DP Bluetooth profile. The Parrot, being a car phone kit, only uses handfree and headset BT profiles. I guess your Nokia used those ports to transmit music
Even if you get it to work by tweaking the Hero the sound quality would be mono and pretty poor, which is a limitation of the headset/handsfree profiles.
The newer Parrots support A2DP profile, and utilise the aux input on your car audio for good quality stereo music output, whilst still using the mobile phone input for phone calls. So does the Bury CC9060 handsfree kit, which I now use.

Question for bluetooth handsfree users

I have paired my sgs2 with my bluetooth car kit. Phone calls etc work perfect, using my car's speakers and microphone. However, when i try to use the satnav on my phone, or start the Voice Commands app and it says "what would you like to do?", the audio comes out of my phone's loudspeaker rather than my car's speakers!
Is anybody else having this problem? Or is it working fine for other users?
I am using a Parrot 3200LS. Here is a screenshot of it's bluetooth settings on my phone:

On google people mentioned that there should be 2 checkboxes, Phone and Media, but i only have Phone. Is this what is causing the problem? Is there any way i can fix this?
Thanks

EDIT: I found the answer to my own question. Apparently my Parrot 320LLS does not support A2DP, which is required to play the navigation, music, etc sounds through the car speakers via bluetooth!

[Q] Control which application send audio to Bluetooth

Is there a way to control which application send audio to Bluetooth and which sent to system speaker?
I have a Bluetooth car kit that is paired with my Samsung Galaxy SII phone (ICS 4.0.3) and any audio that is played on the phone (messages, phone calls, media, etc) it’s sent to the car kit.
This is very annoying, because if I listen to the car radio and the phone receive a message, the sound is sent to the car kit, resulting in a interruption of around 10 seconds, only for transmitting the ring of the message.
I want to have only the phone calls and the media player audio passed to the car kit through the Bluetooth and to block any other audio notifications (and to let them play through the phone speaker).
Is there is any way to control what is sent to Bluetooth, or what application can send audio to the Bluetooth?
Regards,
Stefan
A lot of views but no answer, no idea...
