How can i boost the level of volume because i think it's very low, especially when i listen music with headphones
Try to use a EQ software, search for EQ on Market and you find many Eq softwares

If you have indtalled a custom kernel that include support for voodoo drivers you can use voodoo sounds app for boost audio, headphone and bass

I'm starting to compare the sound that I had on my Captivate with voodoo sound. When I use my DJ headphones the media sound limit is way too low.
Is there any dev working on an app to create something comparable? Will the Nexus Prime have the same problem with sound?

Have you tried the I3 firmware.
The stock sound with no equalizer, apart from a slight preamp gain increase in poweramp, sounds much better than any other firmware with my klipsch s4i's. I stopped using dsp manager for my headphones in this firmware.

When talking on speakerphone (handsfree) the volume could be a lot higher.

There is an app called audioboost that will do that.
Needs root permission though

audioboostSGS2 actually boosts the hardware output, dsp manager just does software stuff..
also the music player power amp has an equalizer setting specifically designed to boost phone speaker
Hi, i am wondering if it is possible to make my YP-G70 louder. If i put Earphones or external speakers on it, its not very loud. I think it is the european law, but how can i make it louder? Is there a possibility?
On my mp3 Player there is a simple option. I can't find it on this device.
Try voodoo sound plus. Works awesome for me and I think he also has a voodoo louder app too.

What earphone/speaker are you using? My YP-G70 is using an EU Rom but it is VERY VERY loud when using an earphone (Shure 535). My media volume is usually set at 3 notches or 4 notches at most, when listening to using earphone. But this is heavily dependent on the sensitivity of your earphone or speaker.
I have different Speakers it on every single one not very loud. If i use my Sansa mp3 its really louder.
I use the poweramp Volume (turn)button to make the song louder. So you have the volume buttons of the device and the volume button of poweramp.
I set me my headset to voodoo sound -7 and turn up my media volume all the way. This gives me the best dynamic range and volume. I get the least amount of distortion with -7 headphone volume. Everything else I leave at default, with no beats audio. I like it at default. Beats is okay but I like everything at default to make the adjustments on my own time.

Is there anyway of increasing the volume on this phone?
My main audio use is in the car via the AUX cable and on my old S2 I was able to set the Stereo to 15/16 now on the Z2 I have to turn this upto 30, this is with the phone audio turned up to the max.
So the question is there any way to increase the volume?

You can use the app to boost the volume
There may be some audio setting that you could play with but im sure you have already done that

try set in walkman "sound normalizer" it should be louder
