[Q] Quiet Speaker both Headphone and external - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
Is there anyway of increasing the volume on this phone?
My main audio use is in the car via the AUX cable and on my old S2 I was able to set the Stereo to 15/16 now on the Z2 I have to turn this upto 30, this is with the phone audio turned up to the max.
So the question is there any way to increase the volume?
Many thanks
John

I use viperfx4android
Its a audio engine of sorts that requires root
You can use the app to boost the volume

[Q] Optimus V Headphone Volume for MP3 Player Use

I got the Optimus V at the recent Cyber Monday deal at Virgin Mobile - for one major purpose - to use it as an mp3 player for my car. I have not activated the phone, do not plan to, have wifi on it only.
The built-in speaker on it is pretty loud, so I am surprised that the headphone volume is very low. I have to turn my car volume all the way up to max to hear anything (driving highway).
I wonder if LG turned the volume low to prevent people from killing their ear-drums. Is there any solution out there without having to activate the phone and install alternate rom on it? I have turned the volume in settings all the way high, and I have Pandora, and I have set the audio setting to high on Pandora preferences.
Pls. let me know if my objective cannot be achieved without rooting and installing a custom ROM, I would prefer not to activate this phone.
Thanks for any help.
Shameless bump...I have Volume Control+ which does not help at all.
you hear low sound in headphone ?
what are you connecting it to?
Yes, I have a low volume on the headphone too. I connect it to the aux port on the car radio using a regular Stereo Jack. My Car radio is a Pioneer system, which has great sound with other mp3 players.

Louder volume built-in speaker??

Hi all.
Anyone know how to boost the volume in the built-in speaker (at the back of the phone)?
When talking on speakerphone (handsfree) the volume could be a lot higher.
Best regards
There is an app called audioboost that will do that.
Needs root permission though
Or you could try dsp manager which is free http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=682936&d=1312909738

audioboostSGS2 actually boosts the hardware output, dsp manager just does software stuff..
also the music player power amp has an equalizer setting specifically designed to boost phone speaker

[Q] how to force sound through speakers with headset plugged in?

Hi, i have a high quality mic that i use with my tab for various recordings, i really would like a simple toggle to force sound through speakers because when the mic is plugged in it uses headphone jack so thinks its a headset which makes playback of recorded items annoying .... pulling out and plugging in etc.
For those interested im using the eim-001 mic
I have a rooted galaxy tab 10.1 p7500, stock ICS rom.
any help would be great.

I think he means the headphone volume? Idk why though this phone gets way beyond safe listening lvls with headphones lol. Now car line-in is another story. You could try any of the EQ apps on the play store, idk if they work with beats enabled though.
