Music player ---> Poweramp full version
Apk freezer ---> Titanium backup/Anttek app manager
Video player ---> arcMedia/Moboplayer
Apk manager ---> Titanium backup
To install something identical to supercharger v6, use the tweaks from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1212396&page=14
Shouldn't be a problem to do so .

music player? hmm for me stock music player the best...
apk freezer? I think it's Titanium backup (donate)...
video player? RockPlayer, because it's play a lot of formats...
apk manager? Titanium backup (donate)...
wow..thanks guys for the replies..
You don´t need to downgrade your busybox if you want to install Supercharger, because the script only has issues with busybox 1.18.2, and our recoveries only work with busysbox 1.15.3.
Relating to the apps, I also think that the full version of PowerAMP and the pro version of TB are great apps.
music player - PowerAMP
apk freezer - Titanium backup
video player - RockPlayer
apk manager - Titanium backup
launcher - active launcher / Launcher Pro
camera - camera360
viewer - QuckPic
browser - opera mini / dolphin
music player - MixZing/PowerAMP
apk freezer - Titanium Backup
video player - MoboPlayer
apk manager - Titanium Backup
launcher - Launcher Pro Plus / Active launcher
camera - Lg camera
viewer - Quickpic
browser - Skyfire

I tried a rom that had a certain music player (stock for its system I think) where the lists and widget appeared as a little CD case. Do you know which ROM is it? and also Do you know what's the name of this player so I can look it up in other ROMs?
Also is there a way I could just install this on my current system?

It's a hell of a music player that one, alright!
I believe someone has modded it to work with any 2.1+ ROM, don't remember where, some googling should do it!
Both these applications should suffice...2.1 only....Gingerbread theme pushed using xrecovery, honeycombe theme can be placed in system apps with permissions set and its good to go....
Thanks it worked alright, don't you have it in english though?
i tried to extract and install apollo music player from FXP CM10. it was installed successfully but it failed to play music. help me please. PS. i install it on stock based rom (Xperia Ice Cream Pureness). sorry for my bad English .
what the notif of fail? can u give screenshot?
i had installed (restore from tb) apollo in my device, i use zelly cream rom, apollo run normally (i get apollo from fxp too, but i backup with tb and restore it)
______________
sorong? are you indonesian?
The reason could be that tb back ups all the files, drivers associated with the app while installing the app directly may not work properly.
Hey man I also had the same problem...all you have to do is just uninstall that piece of crap and install poweramp or winamp or any other player..

Hey guys, I've revently installed the CM 11 rom on my S3, but I really getting a hard time with the player because I can't open a playlist folder and get all the songs I want in once to the folder as I got used to in the stock player.
So what I've asking is if there is a way to download and install the stock player on my phone OR there is a free app that would let me do that.

You can try Google Play Music, or ask about how to use CM11 music player in CM11 Q&A thread. Hope it helps.

Thanks for your reply. I tried it but since it relies on the native browser playing the video, it does not work. I read something about youtube using "mpeg-dash" for live streams and the Gingerbread stock video player not supporting it. Any idea of a fix or alternative?

safest procedure to replace your per-installed YouTube.apk with modified version for GB 2.3.6 compatible apk is : your device must be rooted and install root explorer or similar one ; go to system/app ( Mount r/w) ; delete the app ; go to data/data, also mount r/w , now search for the word tube here and then delete it and do the same process for data/dalvik cache too .After that you can install your new modded/latest YouTube apk.

Thanks again for your help. Where do I get that modified apk and how is it different from the most recent for GB official app? I have another device with a more recent version of Android but a version of the Youtube app older than the most recent one for GB, and live streams play fine. Does the Youtube app have its own video player or does it use the stock Android video player?

There are few working version of modified app for buffering/playback issues( depends on your OS support )/offline download/video format conversion support/different quality support,,,,, etc etc . Since you have tried with the same router/modem and wifi network it could not be router settings for streaming and please wipe all of the traces of the apk as i instructed and give the rooted version of this beta app a shot ( Read FAQ) , probably will resolve your problems .

Thanks a lot for your time and help. I've tried custom roms before but they're too slow or buggy for my taste.
The option I'm exploring now is to extract the m3u8 file and play it but I haven't found an easy way to generate it or a software that will play it without pauses

Did you try MX player and ARMv6+VFP Codec installed on your stock for m3u8 ? assisted some fellow here with flash player issues and particular streaming problems ( read my comments there , might be useful ) .

I tried several video players and MX is the only one playing these Youtube m3u8 urls but it pauses every few seconds (probably because it reads the .ts chunks as individual videos?). I don't think it's a matter of cpu power or bandwidth because even the tiny 72p stream does that.
Hi, I'm searching for a music folder player apk. I recently installed a custom Froyo ROM to an old phone without Play store in it. Thank you for your help!
