I have this same issue.
I hadn't turned my phone on for about 2 weeks. I turned it on, it booted windows, I restarted and it just hung at the main booting screen. The numbers that show radio version and all of that never come up.
I've hard reset, I've gone into the boot loader without issue, I've soft reset a couple times -- no dice.
Any ideas?
i have same problem
but when i put it in cool place like freezer for 3-4 min it works but when it become hot again hung and restart then vibrates for 7 times again
i don`t know what should i do...

3. problems get worse. At this stage it is possible to notice the 7 short vibrates at boot time if the phone is warm or kept in a warm environment. You don't have to push it very hard, it only needs to be warm. The vibration pattern is an error code made by the actual qualcomm chipset
can any help me i have the same issue HTC HD2 Vibrate 7times. I have HTC HD2 Tmobile

What about som info about ROM and extra stuff on the phone.
Have you tried to look around in here and search for at solution YOUR SELF?
Do a hard reset and dont installe any extras, and it wount crash.
Regarding Andorid, there is several Android starters so you dont need to browse to haret.exe. But ofcourse, that means that you have to do a searche YOUR SELF.

Same problem for me.
Solution: go to service and they will
- replace the motherboard or
- replace your device (mine was replaced)
There is no other solution

What do You think, is it hardware problem or software-!
I can't get new replecement, as I'm in other country right now...
I had unlock code from T-Mobile-!
If i try to flash custom roms, will it work-?
Thank you for your advise Shahr-!
could be overheating (few+ threads on the topic here on xda), if this is the case, then shahr321 is right - mainboard replacement for you,
to check if overheating: let your device cool down a bit (10 minutes in the fridge helps), then start it, install BattClock, set it to display battery temperature and observe if freezes happen at/above the same tmeperature

After 10 minutes HD2 turns on, and works fine, but when i start camera recording or play games, it's freezes again, Sence freezes to after few minutes...
Camera can record only 30 sec of video, after that HD2 gets freeze again-!
I used to think positive when anything happen. i always do this steps, first soft reset, if not helping then i do hard reset and if it's still doesn't help finally i do flashing stock ROM. Other than those steps then i'm sure it's hardware problem..it's time to go to nearest service center.

Flashed Radio from 2.15 to 2.12, much better, but still freezes...
I'm in T-Mobile's stock ROM, it's newest ROM, so i can't update, i I can unlock via HSPL3, and flash custom ROMS, what do you think, will it help-?
P.S. I made Hard Reset, but same problem-!
flash custom ROM, if that wont help you gona have to change touch screen (digitizer)
it's common problem

********* Ok, so how is replacing the screen or digitizer going to help with freezing and boot up issues? Not being cynical just curious since I am new to this. Also do you have to replace both screen and digitizer or just digitizer?
Mine will not start ever unless it is coming from freezer. Cool (0-4 Celsius) phone starts just fine in WinMo or Android (I am on Android now) but as soon as it gets worm it shuts off and becomes paperweight.
Any help you can give would be good. Puno Hvala
Bro flash a stock rom... shippedroms.com

Hi Guys -I have been using this ROM on my HTC HD2 which was an early Chrimbo present
Energy.Leo.29005.Sense2.5.Cookie.Dec.13 it has been brilliant until today
Today the back case was a bit loose, and the battery fell out, failed to turn back on, other than to get to the ENERGIZE boot logo.
I have connected to PC and it is still the same
I did a task 29 to try to clear the phone, and tried a new ROM, but still ENERGIZE logo then it turns off and back again
Does anyone have any ideas, as I am a bit gutted, I have used severaly different Roms before which have all been fine
Have I bricked it?
Thanks in advance everyone x
as long as you can flash ROMs it's not bricked. Try this:
1) keep battery out for 10 minutes
2) make sure the pins on the back of the phone that connect to the battery are not bent and that they are connecting. I had this issue forcing reset loops and was tearing my hair out trying to figure it out.
3) Once battery is in with all connections, run task29 again. Flash that Energy ROM (by far my favorite ROM ever btw, but I like the sencity flavor).
Reset and it should work. If this doesn't work flash the stock 3.14 ROM and see where that gets you.
Thanks so so much orangekid........only just managed to try this as I was working all day, and I think it was indeed the battery pins
There was one bent up a tiny bit-I am all back up and running now and appreciate your reply so much-would never have thought to try this
Merry Christmas x
thanx so much,i was having the same prob n was so devastated.thanx much again

no problem, it's one of those real random things most people wouldn't think of, glad you got back and going again
Hello everyone,
To be honest, it's been some time since I've been here, back when I knew how everything on this forum worked...
I kinda forgot, so I'm just posting this HELPME!? thread
This is my problem:
About 1.5 years ago I downloaded a ROM, and put it on my phone, and it was working just fine. However, 3 weeks ago it became really annoying, i'll explain what my problem was:
My phone would randomly freeze when i was doing things, these things could vary from "sending a text message" to "opening my 4th opera tab".
After that it wouldn't respond unless I reset it. However, when starting up again after resetting it would do a few possible things.
1. It's freeze at the first startup screen.
2. It's keep switching between unlock and "pin-screen", and when it was working again, it'd freeze.
3. It'd start up, and after about 5 seconds buzz like 5 times, then freeze.
When i left it on frozen the battery and phone would turn very hot as well =(
So, I tried a hard reset, but that didn't work.
After that i went to the following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591784
I followed the instructions, installed the right Radio (2.12.50), and installed the ROM ( Energy.Leo.21916.Sense2.5.NLD.Cookie.2.0.Jul.07.7z ).
I remembered how to intall these things, so I think i've done that right.
So, after that it seemed to be working fine, and I was really proud and happy.
Now my phone has frozen again, and starting up was an issue again...
Does anyone know what my problem is? And what would be even better, what i can do to solve it?
Please let me know <3
Adios <3
Little Update:
So, I've been carrying my HTC HD2 around with me again, and then it started again...
It froze when I tried to send a text, and after that would freeze or vibrate (a few times) during the start-up...
It's really anoying =( If I'd have to estimate my phone's uptime a day...
It used to be 24h a day, now it's more like... 4 hours a day, with 2/3 hours of trying to get it working :Z
That could be hardware related. Possibly processor overheating. I would download the latest stock rom and fash it to see if it sorts the problem. If not it will need to be sent of to HTC to be replaced.
