Attempted 2.3.3 with 0.71 baseband, phone just goes in continuous boot_loop. Ive tried almost every available baseband with no results.
Here is what I have attempted so far:
1. Flash tool and forum instructions:
a) Device will take any 1.6 (branded or unbranded) firmware but wont allow to use any features of interface other then emergency calling
b) 2.1 firmware with different revisions/baselines have been attempted as well but device just wont boot at all.
c) after flashing with 2.3 firmware device goes in to constant boot_loop.
2. SEUS couldn't locate the new software as my phone has latest software available from the server. (however I'm still on 1.6 )
3. Same with SE Companion, it comes up with the message that software is not available for my phone yet.

Hi,
So I've got an xperia x10, and it was still running 1.6 so I wanted to upgrade it. So I went on the phone, selected software update (in settings -> about phone) and pressed update (didn't use any SE update tools on the PC). It started downloading the update, and after that it rebootet and started installing the update. At the last step however, this comes up:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And this happens every time I try rebooting the phone, so I cannot start the phone.
Now I've tried several things:
- Repair phone using PC pc companion
Result: No update avaiable
- Update via SE update service
Result: You already have the newest software
- Flash via x10 flash tool ()
It says "Start flashing" but then nothing happens - seems like it doesn't
connect properly
It does seems like the phone boot into flashing mode when I try, at least the SE tools continues after I start the phone in flash mode (screen is just black but the green LED is on).
So is there anyway I can repair my phone? (I'm afraid I cannot go to a store and make them do it, I got the phone from previous workplace)
Thanks for any help!
I cannot flash via the flashtool you link to I'm afraid. Already tired that, I get this error:

Yes, still no luck.
I updated Kies and connected my S3 to see if there were any updates
Kies says my device doesnt support firmware upgrades through kies..is this true or do I need to reinstall kies as I previously used it with my S2
Meaning is usually one their is actually no update for you yet .
Or you have none official firmware .
Solution as always same as SGS2
Wait Or use CHECKFUS or download stock firmware from sammobile or from stock firmware post or from stock rom thread .
jje
hmmm, strange way of writing this message ?
Anyway, I am still running official stock so I will wait untill there is a new firware available for The Netherlands
For the time being I am testing battery life with this one
Not to bad I must admit. First battery cycle 7 hours on screen time
have you rooted or has your CSC changed? that error is also tied to incorrect CSC codes
haven't done anything so far.
Just took it out of the box and started to play with it ;-)
using mac or pc?
This is using a PC running Windows 7 and last version of Kies
if all is well with kies it should look like this

This is what mine shows :
you could flash stock unbranded GT-I9300_PHN_I9300XXALE8_I9300PHNALE4_I9300XXLE8
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=8&view=4666
maybe that'll fix it, bit of a strange one to have that problem out of the box?
I thought it might have something to do with the fact that I used to connect with my S2 and Galaxy tab 8.9 ?
When you suggest to flash the LE8 this would be using ODIN ?
yes,

check my previous post for your stock unbranded firmware link
Thanks for your help
O, I also found that problem when I tried to update my Galaxy Y, I think the application has some problem. And I have downloaded the latest version of the Kies, its sucksss...So I update my mobile via mobile, so you should update it via your phone going to about>software update....
I'm new in this topic, though I had a samsung galaxy ace before and and could root it without a problem, but oh, well.
Then, back to business.
I rooted my lg l9 768g after I bought it and delete some bloatware, but then software update showed up for JB. I downloaded the update and tried to install it, couldn't do it, after a reboot displayed a message saying something about my device being rooted and because of that it could not update. I unrooted the phone using the SuperSU app, instead of using the software I used to root it. After that I tried updating again to JB but the same error showed up.
Since I could not update to JB via sofware update, I tried rooting my phone again, but it would only reboot but the SuperSU app will not show up. Tried doing it several times with same results.

I used this program to root my phone, which worked the first time, but I can't make it to work again.
I tried flashing JB using this tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36351786
but I end up with an error
I keep my phone in SW Upgrade Mode and connect the usb to my laptop to see if the drivers weren't installed properly but nothing installs.
So, I would like help with re-rooting my phone or help with another method for flashing JB other than the link already mentioned above.
Thanks in advance.
My phone is a Lg optimus l9 768g
android ver: 4.0.4
kernel ver: 3.0.21
Do you have CWM working?
Try flashing with Your l9 turned on normally and connect the usb in LG software mode (wait for the drivers to connect properly). Sometimes it doesn't work when you start out with it connected in S/W upgrade mode first.

Greetings community I have a big problem with my Z5 Compact E5803.
A couple of months ago I unlocked the Bootloader, I rooted it and never had any problem (I did all this in the version of Android 6.0.1) until I decided to update it by Flashtool to the latest existing version of Nougat (I downloaded the firmware E5803_32. 4.A.1.54_Generic LAM, through XperiFirm).
The fact is that by mistake I included these options in the firmware flash:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now the problem is that I can not flash any kernel to root my phone, since I always get the same message in both Flashtool and Fastboot mode; "FAILED (remote: command not allowed)", I can not unblock or block the bootloader again, my cell phone does not recognize the nano SIM, and the screen freezes when I enter the camera application.
I made several attempts to flash again the firmware I had before flashing Nougat, Marshmallow (32.2.A.0.224_R7C_Latin America Generic_1299-2789.ftf), I tried to block the bootloader by Flashtool and unlock it again, according to the program all right but when reviewing the phone keeps appearing "Rooting status: unknown".
Community, I do not know what else to do, I would be very grateful for a definitive solution, thank you :crying:
PD.: I had posted this before, but I think I did it in the wrong place
I will be attentive to your comments and suggestions community and if the photos are not published in the post I will gladly pass the link :good: where you can see them. Sorry for my bad english
I do not know what you can do now
but I know where you were wrong , you did not have to tick SIMLOCK

Yesterday I tried and unfortunately it did not work
Well, flashtool should backup your previous TAs. Find them at C:/user/.flashTool/registeredDevices/serial number/rawta/date.fta
Backup
do not back up with Flashtool but I have a backup made with this tool:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/universal-dirtycow-based-ta-backup-t3514236
I have the file:
TA_E5803_XXXXXXXXXX_xxxxxxxx-xxx.img :victory:
perhaps this helps:
Restoring TA to factory state

I cannot give any further advice, as I am not aware what the "Misc TA" options actually do. good luck
Hi There

my phone software information is

so far ive downloaded the following firmware which i think is correct
Problem is ive went through the process of applying it through odin but get the following error and not sure what is wrong, ive enabled USB debugging mode which is turned on and my phone is in downloading mode, is there another step involved to successfully flash this phone ?
Hi
I understand that the reason Odin failed may be because you used wrong (mismatched) firmware (i.e. it's not firmware for your A10S model. The following info should illustrate my point:
There are 2 similarly named models:
a) the Galaxy a10S series [Versions: SM-A107F/DS (Global); SM-A107M/DS (LATAM). Source https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a10s-9793.php], ..... and
b) the Galaxy A10 series [Versions: SM-A105F/DS, SM-A105FN/DS (Global); SM-A105G/DS (APAC); SM-A105M/DS (LATAM/Brazil). Source: https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a10-9580.php]
From the info you gave above, you have a phone in the SM-A107F series, but you have fed a firmware version for the SM105F series into Odin and flashed your phone. You have a A107F phone (as indicated in the Software information image above (Baseband version: A107F......). In contrast, the Odin image indicated that you used A105F firmware (in the BL button field, it showed 105FDDU6BUD1 .......). Additionally, your Attachment image should also confirm that indeed you had downloaded the 105FDDU6BUD1 firmware version and used it in Odin.
Redownload the correct firmware (one beginning with 107F .... and flash your phone again could solve your problem.
Best wishes
