Hi guys, so this is my situation:
I have dual boot WP7 (nand) and Android (sd). My SD card is partitoned, half for wp7, half for android.
I would like to try some custom WM roms now, and I don't know how to get back from wp7.
So:
1) How to go from WP7 to some custom WM6.5 rom?
2) Will I still be able to run Android form SD card?

It´s just astonishing that we have to repeat again and again the same story:
Simply flash your stock ROM via SD card method, this way, you will completely erase everything on your phone. The SD card itself will not be changed, btw.
You might also flash via USB using the RUU.exe file, to keep HSPL, but I still would recommend to start from scratch.
Can someone please help me?
I have the same problem after formatting my sd card and trying to remove hspl, now it says "Not allow" when i turn my phone on and then displays the same as OP's phone, I'm freaking out, i don't know how to access SD card when i can't turn on my phone please help :[
Try doing a task29 then flashing a stock rom. It should erase the spl and every thing else. From there you should be able to do what you want with Wm and SD android.

I need a profeesional who could help me what to do?
First I tried to instal a new rom through using MiniSD memory card, so i got the files from a very reputable website whish is this one. the name of rom WM 6.5 21500. I entred into the bootloader, it successfully dedected the MIni SD. but the screen stoped i was not able to make a choice through the menu.
So i removed the battery then the phone doesn't want to open.
Plz can any one help me, by just telling me what to do.

as i have told you that he does not want to open, i tries several times to enter into the boot loader using a key combination of holding record+volume+restart. the results are the same======> blank screen

what is ur SDcard size? is it larger than 2G?
is ur SD card properly formatted to FAT partition?

my WM6.5 is 23089... is use 2GB card (Kingston) and formatted....try changing to a branded miniSD card.

in fact.. i always use V-Gen 512Mb for upgrading.
never fail.
even a "half dead" ATOM/ATOM EXEC have been fully recovered by my Luvly V-gen 512Mb. no need for JTAG unless a real Brick which can't entering bootloader at all. (did a little trick on ATOM wiki plus some improvisation to push the device entering bootloader)

android build..?
back up all your data from your sd card, then reformat your sd card and try again. I should work....
Yesterday i was helping my gf to install android on her hd2, i encountered exactly the same problem as you. Then reformat sd card, install android again. It works smoothly without any problem.

Did you do a task29 to format internal memory, then install back energy rom. Only install android. Have you tried that?

Did you copy the complete Android directory (so not only the files) to the root of your SD card?
All you have to do is read
It could also be your SD card. I had exactly the same issue with an 8gb card I recently purchased. No matter how many times I formatted it I still couldn't get Android to run fully all the time.
I have since got a 4gb SD card and Android, all builds, now runs without any issues whatsoever.
Just a suggestion that it may not be something you're doing, or not doing, but an actual hardware issue!
You might also be making the same mistake I did.
When the guides on this forum said to copy the Android folder to the root of my SD card, I thought it was referring to the "/" directory that I saw in Windows Explorer. (What is actually the internal memory of the HD2)
I was putting Android in the wrong directory. I should have been copying it over to the Storage Card one, which is the actual MiniSD Card. That's the root directory.
Just a thought.

Basically I've extracted my Android ROM into my SD card but everytime I boot it, it just freezes on the white HTC screen. Even after waiting for about 30 minutes, it still doesnt boot up to Android. I've formatted my SD card and tried a few different ROMS.
My radio is 2.15, my SPL is 3.03 (stock without SSPL or HSPL) and my ROM is 3.14. I've researched a bit on the XDA forums and apparently I can use my stock ROM if I'm at 3.14 to run Android. I havent done any flashing but apparently Android should work with SPL 3.03.
Please help, its so frustrating as I've got my HD2 now but I cant run Android at all.

Its ScanDisk, 16GB and Class 2.
Format you card with this
And chose option "FULL (Erase ON)"
That should properly format you card. Then just place your Android folder on card and boot into Android and wait!
I would have suggested trying Class 4 minimum, but try theatheists suggestion first.

I've used the program you suggested to format my card but Android still wont run. It gives me a little bit of text when I click haret.exe and then immediatly it goes the white htc screen and seems to freeze there. I waited 40 minutes for it but it was just frozen on the same screen...
Can somebody PLEASE help me? I'm desperate and nobody seems to be answering at all!
Have you tried downloading it again or using a different build??
Does it need to be on the root of your card or in an android folder.......??
If none of that works then try an older rom... (1.72)

But now i got memory bag,i cant install any program because there is no memory.
Please help me,how can i flash it with original firmware,to make it as it was from the shop?

Put the phone into Bootloader Mode (with phone off, press and hold the Volume Down button, then tap the Power button). what does it display?
What size of SD card did you try to use to do the flashing with?

Can you flash via your computer with active sync or windows mobile device center?
Its better than using the sd card, as the micro sd i had was corrupted.

All the details you need to flash a new rom are there in the link provided. Go and read the first few posts carefully. A little more detail from you would also help such as what rom are you running, what spl version, what radio version, what model HD2 etc etc etc.
You also say you tried to flash and it didn't work. What didn't work? What error messages did you get etc. It really is impossible to help you with the details you have (or haven't) provided. Also, you should not be starting a new thread when there are dedicated threads already provided to help with flashing problems.

The message is when I turn on the device asked me to format the storage memory and I click on (yes) it says that the format complete but it isn't,
In addition, when I try to connect the device with my laptop, the message for format again on device and also in my laptop to format the storage memory. then I try to format it form laptop it's doesn't work.
Finally, I can't find the storage memory anymore in device browsing.
So, I think it good detail please explain to me what you need more...

Remove card, switch on phone - any problems?
Put the card back in, switch on phone - any problems?
If you can, then put the microSD Card into a SD Card Adapter and connect it to your computer. Try fromatting it (not quick format) - any problems?
