I've been out of the loop for a couple months so i'm not sure what im doing for this.
When i first got my atrix, i moved it to the telstra 2.2.1 sbf that came out. I then Grey-blurred the phone, and now am not sure what the proper steps are to do the IHOP.
Do i need to reflash to the telstra 2.2.1 and then do ihop on top of that?
I don't want to brick my phone as i do use it for work, but would really like to move on past greyblur. Plus My phone randomly restarts on the telstra sbf.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I have also did the same on my bell Atrix by flashing the french sbf at the time and grey-bluring. Now im pretty sure the deodex changed my framework to the AT&T one. I want to get back to somewhat stock so I can unlock the bootloader, upgrade, and throw the pre beta 3 cyanmod on.
Any help would be greatly apreciated. I've scanned the forums bacand forth and cannot find 'straight forward' enough instructions.

I would like to go back to Bell because they have the newest Gingerbread out, would you please send me to a tutorial on how to do this with the bell files linked?
Thanks

First of all, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1160408 is the answer to your question. You should not be lusting to get back to the OTA as there is a risk of hard bricking your atrix.
If you still want to go back to the Bell Gingerbread update, you should try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195922. I have tried it and it works.
Also, there is another way of getting back to the Bell Gingerbread update, try this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1175990&highlight=bell+atrix.
I have tried getting Bell GB with both above mentioned methods and they work, as long as you follow the instructions.
Good Luck
Cheers

Hi all,
I'd like to flash the offical Orange UK SBF service onto my Atrix (which is Orange) to restored some deleted system files. Just wondered if there are any any gotchas with this, and if anyone could recommend a specific how-to to follow for this situation? Just looking for any issues I could expect to encounter along the way
Done plenty of stuff on my Hero, so not afraid to get dirty, just need a starting point.
I've unlocked the phone with a code, in case that is important.
Cheers
well ive tried a million times the rom works great using SBF flash back no drawbacks except that webtop does not work
which is a big one for me as i use hd dock all the time!
Hey dude check out this link its the best it solved my softbrick issue
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1125944
The only uk sbf available on this thread is the old one (1.3.1) the latest (I think) is 2.1.1 at least this is the newest sbf I can find. Please correct me if I'm wrong
Does anyone know if I can change my phones stock rom with cherryblur without messing with another kernel? Because I have an AT&T atrix that I bought from amazon.com and it came unlocked since I live in Costa Rica, everything is stock, but I'd like to change my rom and wanna know if I can put that rom on my phone as is comes, with my stock kernel, I guess it's stock since I haven't changed anything and it came with gingerbread 2.3.4 out of the box. So do I need another kernel or something? Because it is in fact an AT&T phone, it was just career unlocked. And can I flash it even when I have gingerbread on it?
PLEASE help! I wanna get rid of motoblurs slowlyness...
No you do not need to change kernals. The though cherry blur may flash its own

I flashed my phone back to stock a while ago not realising i flashed it with tmobile france software then did an OTA upgrade to gingerbread and it stayed as tmobile france, meaning now my phone always thinks im roaming lol
iv found an old tmobile UK sbf file which is the 2.2.2 older software version and im planning to sbf flash it then do another OTA update which will hopefully put me on gingerbread tmobile UK
im just asking to see if this is a a safe thing to do or could i brick my phone by downgrading sbf files etc...? thanks!
NO.
No, nope, nonononononono.
No.
why not? please explain lol i dont want to ruin my phone
LOL no problem. The "One Guaranteed Way in the Whole Wide World" to brick your phone is to SBF flash to an older version than what you're on currently.
Unfortunately I don't have any experience in getting different carrier's firmware; just didn't want to see your phone get screwed in the process.
ah i see thank you, i guess il just leave it and get over the annoying roaming symbol then! haha what would happen if i flashed over it with a UK version of the same software?
I guess my question would be: are you actually being charged for roaming? If so, I might change your title to ask how to get back on UK Tmobile -- someone else might have some better ideas.
nope i dont think i am just get an annoying popup all the time saying im roaming when im not and okay ill try to do that thanks
Good morning
I'm trying to upgrade a rooted and unlocked Vibrant (T959) running 2.1 (stock tmob):
Current rom (stock tmob): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=734475
Unlocked manually by editing nv_data.bin: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=761045
Unfortunately, in few hours my friend is leaving overseas and needs additional language support that exist only on 2.2 and above.
I need your help finding the fastest and safest way to upgrade it to 2.2 without losing the carrier unlock (and hopefully to also keep it rooted).
BTW, tmobile suggest using kies min: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1767
Is it going to break anything I need?
Any suggestions \ tips would be highly appreciated,
Many thanks!
DO NOT use kies to upgrade, it will most likely brick your phone. Flash one of Fishman's 2.2 ROMs which are pre rooted, you can find a list of ROMs in the vibrant Bible thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=. Your carrier unlock should still work but if it doesn't just unlock it again with this app below, it works everytime http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...54GoDA&usg=AFQjCNHPLitmEuuGmN0wLxiUDOUVaJxYOA
