Ok, so my card still had a radio img on the root, and I ran into some issues and needed to boot straight into recovery, but it kept trying to flash the radio. So I threw my memory card in her phone and deleted the file and put the memory cards back in each respective TB.
Now she's getting a **** ton of app force closes. Can someone help me before she castrates me please. lol... seriously. lol
I did a quick search and didn't see anything, but with my balls on the line, I don't have very long to figure this out...
Thanks!!!!

Need more info... Are we talking about the manual update from VZW or we talking about a rooted phone trying to flash update a newer radio? If the later are you using a custom ROM?
Weird, she's getting a ton of app force closes after swapping SD cards for a second? Is it possible that your phone wiped out the Move to SD Apps on the SD card? If that's the case, just having her uninstall/reinstall the apps that were moved to the SD card should do it. I did this one accidentally, didn't get any FCs but did get a ton of "application not found."
I don't know why taking out the SD card would cause FCs because technically that's what happens every time you plug your computer into the wall.
If she's rooted - just re-install her rom (without wiping data) - see if that helps.
Gotta love white women. lol
I just acquired s-off and all the good stuff. Now what apps are essential or at least interesting to have with root? I had a couple for my Evo 4G but recollection of any of them is long gone. Except for Shoot Me.
Enlighten me fellow members. Thanks in advance.

I have to throw in support for my app Flash Image GUI as it allows the flashing of kernels and recoveries from android w/o rebooting to recovery mode.
I consider it essential, but that might be a biased opinion!
Glad you're rooted!

Question on Titanium Backup. I had purchased a key for the full version when I had the 4G but now it doesn't show as purchased. Anyone know why that might be?
As far as doing an entire phone back up, what are recommended steps before jumping into a rom?
Thanks again for refreshing my mind.

I just flashed over to Energyrom for HTC Evo 4g. I love the look but man this thing sure is giving me a headache with all the FC's and how sluggish it is. And what I mean by "all" the fc's is that everything there is known to man on this phone, has been having some sort of fc but nothing closes. It just pops up and does nothing when I click fc. Not sure what is up with it or if I did something wrong for that matter, but I would like to know if there is anything I can do to fix it. I am on Gingerbread if that helps out at all. I'm a noob but I understand computers and technology. Please help. \m/
I also have it rooted with stock everything.

Do a full wipe of data/cache partition/dalvik cache, then reflash the rom.
Ok, I will give that a shot and see what happens. Thanks.

I ran the root program that roots the phone then rant the market app that puts a recovery but not unlocked bootloader. I just got the phone and did it last night. I read if the bootloader is unlocked then there is no 4g, not that I used 4g. Or is there a program that does it all like they have for the Evo 4g?
Did you check lokfish's compendium? Whole list of roms. Also check the development threads they'll have "locked" in the title.

yeah
Thanks KTT16, I did end up reading about a couple and tried one that one person said worked smooth. I ended up some error message and RSD'd back to stock and then decided to go all out and figured out how to unlock bootloader, load Clockwork, and then put ICS on. Then went to sleep at 5am =/ hehe. Now I need to set it up the way I need and then shut down my evo and activate my photon=)
Nice work! If you get a chance try cm7.2 and lokfish's rom.

Within settings there's a box you check to activate internal memory. Cm7.2 is also like this, so it's not a bug.

Thanks everyone,
I did that so then the camera started working because it was asking for the sd card, but it still doesn't charge when I plug it into the computer and the computer still doesn't recognize anything. I press the button that says if I want to send files yada yada. The lightening bolt comes on the battery symbol, but not charging or anything else. I'll check the fixes section that KTT16 mentioned in case he meant something else beside the box to check.
I also want to use the calendar app in my evo. It's on a kings speed 3d rom, but that's another thing so I'll figure out the sd card first.

Hey I have seen in different places people backing up different things in Twrp. Should you backup android secure? What is this file? Its pretty big. Also do you hit the compress file button on the bottom?

Exactly. My android_secure file is 600mb. If its not needed then I surely don't want to loose that much space on my sd card. Hopefully someone can explain what this file is to justify their answer if to/not backup.

I'd still use Titanium Backup... I don't know if it's changed, but when they originally introduced it, it was used to install the encrypted (mostly the paid ones) apps from the Market
If you want your apps to work properly, back it up and restore it no matter how small or large it is.

yes when you do a nandroid backup, and then restore it. as they said above it holds some data for the apps, especially if you did one of those "move2sd" things. If i dont back it up and restore it, the app will either not be installed, or not open properly
