Can anyone help?
N.O.V.A is not working for me....
I downloaded SD Cache and put in the settings of N.O.V.A in ChainFire 3D Pro but when I run the game I get a message "Video cannot be played"
So, I removed the video files from SD Cache and then run the game but now, all I see is a white screen....
I reduced Texture Quality and Texture Size....
Driver - QUALCOM
Put the intro.mp4 file from gangster into it and try

I put another video instead of "LOGO.mp4" and "INTRO.mp4" and after it finished there was nothing but a white screen....
I could here the game music in the background...
I tapped in the centre of the screen and heard a sound, so I was probably on the main menu of the game....
Just the white screen is the problem....
Any solutions to this?
For me, I got to the menu, everything okay, I started to play and textures were very strange. It wasnt neither white nor black. It was some strange color

Nova worked fine for me in kyrillos 5.5, 5.6, 6. It used to give video cannot b played error for the first time. and second time wen i open, it works fine without that error.
But wen i flashed v7, it gave me white textures. So may b something wrong with jps???!!!

I don't care if you download pirate software. It is against the rules to help you. At least openly. You could sent a PM to the OP of the thread where you got the link to the cache for help...Any way. Sorry for all the yelling. Nothing personal.
(I admit that I googled many HD games. I tried EVERY possible configuration in chainfire. The result? Well I deleted them all. The reason was that even if the game was "playable" it lagged and it was a little bit "ugly". Hope you all get the meaning... Our phone needs support from gameloft but it won't find it. Even SAMSUNG has abandoned it...)

someone knows a fix for this problem? installing a new custom ROM (alien for example) can i fix it with this?

chainfire also helps improve overall 3d performance
I got the problem when I use chainfire3D with 2.3.4 stock, the notification bar has damaged anyone know how to fix.

I also have problems when flipping the phone from up and down to candybar\landscape mode.
My screen gets all fubar. I'm not entirely sure how to even fix it, so i have to uninstall it for now

I also got problem to my atrix 2.3.4 at&t after apply chainfire3d.
Notification bar and lock screen got failure and distorted.
I finaly uninstall chainfire driver in it's option and now my phone comeback to normal.
I'm using chainfire3D just fine with 2.3.4 on my Atrix. I fixed the screen distortion by choosing "no animations" in my display settings.
Yeah I did this for Dead Space as well but it messed up my notification bar just as other users have pointed out. I did get it back to normal again by uninstalling the drivers within the program but I hope this gets updated so that Atrix 2.3 runs properly

Today i found gta3 on a forum. (i'll post a link if asked). It said to be working on the galaxy mini. But if i tried to install it gives a fault. I put it into /data/app but my phone doesn't recognises it. How to make my phone run the game?

Btw i found this app on the forum of blackdroid so try it out and see if it works for you. (search for grand theft auto and click on the qvga version)

Does not work, it just freezes at gta 3 start screen until you kill it with task manager.i tried waiting for about 5 mins nothing, you can exit it from the game aswell by holding back key and pressing back once more, the game responds to that but it never gets pas the gta 3 main screen.
I've heard this lags on even samsung galaxy S etc i highly doubt our g3 will be able to pull this off :3

Sorry I thought it would fit here, because the games here are so well known on the pc.
However, gta 3 and Battlefield BC2 came out to a similar time
Both games start but I had no time to download the sd data

It's probably the trailer at the beginning of the game, which codec our g3 doesnt support.

Could you test that? I deleted it because of no space...

downloaded the apk, ran it, downloaded all the sd files through the app, it said this was successful and i hit next, this just took me to a blank black screen, now every time i open the app i just get this black screen.
i have seen ther other threads but nobody seemed to come to a conclusion,

So i purshaced the .apk via the play store then sent it to my phone. When i had my LTE version on rogers aka the skyrocket with the qulacom chipshet the game worked fine. However when i try to play it on my sgs2 the colors are all messed up and the game dosnt run properly. I tried installing Chainfire 3d and that didnt help. Do i need to install some nightly driver or a beta. Please help thanks!!

Just checking on this, as it's not entirely clear from your post... but you know that just installing Chainfire 3D won't do anything, right?
You need to actually install the plug-ins as well (NVidia, PowerVR, and Qualcomm), and select one of them to use. Have you done that?
For example, if I don't select the Qualcomm plug-in, then NFS: Shift will still have screwy graphics. Once I select the Qualcomm plug-in, it runs great.
How did you manage to purchase it on the Google Play Store? Can you provide a link?

No. In chainfire 3d,go to default opengl settings, use plug in, and select one.

I have on my computer entered i have a sony play phone, then paid for it, then download the apk, then put it on my phone. Thanks for that tool!
When i click on the Quolacom Plugin it statys selected, and when i go back into the game everything is still messed up.

Try the other plug ins.
EDIT: BTW, you should really read the chainfire thread. There is details in there. You may have to tweak some settings if a plug in doesn't at first appear to work.
And when you say "go back into the game", does that mean you have the game loaded already, then you go to chain fire, change setting, then go back to the game still loaded? I'm not sure that works. You may have to totally reload the game after you change settings.

FWIW I don't believe you. Partly because you've only posted in the I727, I9100 and HTC Rezound forums since joining XDA, and partly because you only mentioned the Xperia Play after I indicated you could only get it for this device. Whatever, it's not even on Google Play (your original claim) even if you do have an Xperia Play.
So I recently imported a padfone 2 from Taiwan to replace my S3, the device is awesome both as a tablet and as a phone itself. Anyhow, I recently Installed N.O.V.A 3. Now I managed to play 2 levels from N.o.v.a 3 on friday, However, Yesterday, I tried loading it up and whilst it loads up fine, the screen only shows up black. I'm getting this weird thing where the game loads perfectly fine, in terms of menus, but when you come to the actual game, all that shows on screen is text and the HUD. Sounds play fine too. I've tried NOVA3 and Most Wanted and both do the same thing. the game doesnt crash at all and it lets you play as if theres no problem at all. This happens on both tablet and the phone.

Just received my PadFone 2 as well and I have had the same problem with NFS Most Wanted. Could it be because of the Quad-core Qualcomm processor? like it is relatively new,

i did get back an answer from EA asking for more details about my phone and if i attempted to unistall and reinstall. but i did try everything. gaaahhh!

Yes I had connected the phone to the PC (I have a Mac). I will try re downloading. temple run is great for example.. But as I said not nova or nfs..
I wonder if its and Asus issue or a qualcomm issue. if its the latter there will be a sh*storm when the nexus 4 releases! that has the same soc as this. I hope they fix this issue

No you're not, there weren't any processes running that related to NFS. Tried a fresh install again today with no luck.
Just for clarification do you have this running on a Padfone 2?

There may not be processes but look in app info it would ask you to force close...but never mind...if it ran once it will run again...did you get the same img error???

No, with 4.1.1 update NFS keeps black
I think I'll return my padphone 2 to get the money back
