Hi
Today i found gta3 on a forum. (i'll post a link if asked). It said to be working on the galaxy mini. But if i tried to install it gives a fault. I put it into /data/app but my phone doesn't recognises it. How to make my phone run the game?

like i said, i can't install neiter open it... so how to install this app manually?
Btw i found this app on the forum of blackdroid so try it out and see if it works for you. (search for grand theft auto and click on the qvga version)

Does not work, it just freezes at gta 3 start screen until you kill it with task manager.i tried waiting for about 5 mins nothing, you can exit it from the game aswell by holding back key and pressing back once more, the game responds to that but it never gets pas the gta 3 main screen.
I've heard this lags on even samsung galaxy S etc i highly doubt our g3 will be able to pull this off :3

Yes, but if u use chainfire it should be working fine (even on the galaxy mini). Neither can i get it running but there should be a way!

yea but there probably will be a fix for that as galaxy S1 is powerful enough to run it.

Sorry I thought it would fit here, because the games here are so well known on the pc.
However, gta 3 and Battlefield BC2 came out to a similar time
Both games start but I had no time to download the sd data

It's probably the trailer at the beginning of the game, which codec our g3 doesnt support.

Could you test that? I deleted it because of no space...
Also somebody said he said his phone down for 5min and still had a black screen...

N.O.V.A is not working for me....
I downloaded SD Cache and put in the settings of N.O.V.A in ChainFire 3D Pro but when I run the game I get a message "Video cannot be played"
So, I removed the video files from SD Cache and then run the game but now, all I see is a white screen....
I reduced Texture Quality and Texture Size....

I put another video instead of "LOGO.mp4" and "INTRO.mp4" and after it finished there was nothing but a white screen....
I could here the game music in the background...
I tapped in the centre of the screen and heard a sound, so I was probably on the main menu of the game....
Just the white screen is the problem....
Any solutions to this?
For me, I got to the menu, everything okay, I started to play and textures were very strange. It wasnt neither white nor black. It was some strange color

Nova worked fine for me in kyrillos 5.5, 5.6, 6. It used to give video cannot b played error for the first time. and second time wen i open, it works fine without that error.
But wen i flashed v7, it gave me white textures. So may b something wrong with jps???!!!

I don't care if you download pirate software. It is against the rules to help you. At least openly. You could sent a PM to the OP of the thread where you got the link to the cache for help...Any way. Sorry for all the yelling. Nothing personal.
(I admit that I googled many HD games. I tried EVERY possible configuration in chainfire. The result? Well I deleted them all. The reason was that even if the game was "playable" it lagged and it was a little bit "ugly". Hope you all get the meaning... Our phone needs support from gameloft but it won't find it. Even SAMSUNG has abandoned it...)

The game closes by itself... nd when i unlock the screen.... task manager shows the game in tasks bt when i open the game it starts from the begginning... wtf??

How many games do have on your phone and how big. It usually happens when you run out of memory.if u many apps (300+) or many big games then try delete a few of them and reboot. This usually fixes the problem

I just have a few apps and games in my device like
Whatapp
Skype
Way2sms
Shadowgun
Virtua tennis
Nova 3
Temple run
Max payne
Nd before opening the game i make sure all the other apps are closed....
While on my galaxy s2 i hav 15 games nd many other apps 2
Still i can play ashpalt 6 nd minimize it nd open shadowgun as well nd both works if i switch btw them...
I had le8 firmware preinstalled on my and that was laggy and filled with bugs, i even had thoughts of returning the phone.but was waiting for new firmware, because most of the bugs was software related and when is switched to lf2 firmware, all my issues was fixes.
But if u never flashed a rom,then either wait for Samsung to release update through kies or
u can learn how to flash your self. There are lots of guides on how to root and flash roms.
Galaxy s3 toolkit is a great flashing tool.but what u need to know is:.. how to flash with ODIN
And how to recover your phone after a bad flash(this rarely happens,if u follow step by step rules.. : how to use cwm(clockworkmod) recovery installed on your phone and rooting(root).
Optional..;how to use ADB.
It takes about 1 (maybe 2) hour of reading and your good to go and u are able to recover your phone if u forget a step on the way.
Try and go to app manager and move the games to SD-card

First can you use proper words when writing it's irritating to read "bt" "sme" and then the brain needs to translate it. It's ok if you're writing from the phone but if you are writing from a pc use a little more words to make sense.
OT: go to settings then developer options and scroll all the way down. In apps category see if "Do not keep activities" is checked and also see what's the setting on "Limit background processes". For me it's standard limit

I had that problem on firmware LE8 also 1 game that fc'ed. Changing the rom solved all my problems. Now in have no issues.

Yes that's what i mentioned to the OP. He's abbreviating words but the stupid thing is he's doing it to small words like but (bt), some (sme) and (nd).. pathetic.
We use BT for bluetooth, SME for Small medium enterprise..
Thanx for clarifying and using your phone isn't an excuse,i always(almost) write from my phone. Just untick auto correction

Nd when i mark do not keep activities it gives some problem
Like after closing any app my homescreen icons loads again 1 by 1 ......
So i leave it unmarks nd it sloved the homescren problem .......

Galaxy s 3 games problem
my galaxy s3 is much lagy for games.i tried lots of games but unable to play.firstly i installed gta vice city the error was xapk file validation failed.
2.i install pop classic error was file validation failed.
3.i install raven swords erroe was automaticaly close after black screen

when I started to play racing games like asphalt 6, riptide...right now ive only tried this 2 games and when the racing starts, the screen automatically turns towards left and makes the car go left, i have to turn the phone so much to make it go on straight road, i hold the screen properly still the car goes only left side because the screen turns itself, same with the riptide...any idea what's wrong??

It should Work.
But still i think you are Using Pirated Version of Games. Please buy them if you are Using Pirated Version.

So I recently imported a padfone 2 from Taiwan to replace my S3, the device is awesome both as a tablet and as a phone itself. Anyhow, I recently Installed N.O.V.A 3. Now I managed to play 2 levels from N.o.v.a 3 on friday, However, Yesterday, I tried loading it up and whilst it loads up fine, the screen only shows up black. I'm getting this weird thing where the game loads perfectly fine, in terms of menus, but when you come to the actual game, all that shows on screen is text and the HUD. Sounds play fine too. I've tried NOVA3 and Most Wanted and both do the same thing. the game doesnt crash at all and it lets you play as if theres no problem at all. This happens on both tablet and the phone.

Just received my PadFone 2 as well and I have had the same problem with NFS Most Wanted. Could it be because of the Quad-core Qualcomm processor? like it is relatively new,
Yeah I'm getting the same issue. I've emailed the developer but not really expecting a response. If I do get a reply I'll update this post.
i did get back an answer from EA asking for more details about my phone and if i attempted to unistall and reinstall. but i did try everything. gaaahhh!

Yes I had connected the phone to the PC (I have a Mac). I will try re downloading. temple run is great for example.. But as I said not nova or nfs..
I wonder if its and Asus issue or a qualcomm issue. if its the latter there will be a sh*storm when the nexus 4 releases! that has the same soc as this. I hope they fix this issue

No you're not, there weren't any processes running that related to NFS. Tried a fresh install again today with no luck.
Just for clarification do you have this running on a Padfone 2?

There may not be processes but look in app info it would ask you to force close...but never mind...if it ran once it will run again...did you get the same img error???

No, with 4.1.1 update NFS keeps black
I think I'll return my padphone 2 to get the money back

I can open both games but then nothing happens. No force close or something, it's more like they load endlessly.

Happened with me too, when i tried playing into the dead 2, i guess the game still isn't optimised for the gpu, (ps that a week ago, i m on aex 5.1 rn)

Try to download Play Game from google ( if u didnt )
And also go manually in installed app -find your game and allow all required permissions..
Some games not pop-up "asking permission" in miui (dont know why)

I can open both games but then nothing happens. No force close or something, it's more like they load endlessly.
My phone is rooted and runs on latest miui 9.

yes I can and there is an obb folder named "com.pikpok.dr2.play"

im talking about this see picture, is there your account on google play.
I dont know man but u doing something wrong, im on miui 9 stock and i just downloaded that game for testing and game works great.
Yes, I'm signed in. It just doesn't work.
Maybe it's because my phone is rooted?!
I have 2 mido phones RR ROM in both. I don't knw why but have runs in one mobile and won't run in other. Just a loading screen (into the dead 1 and 2)
