I want to play Power Point presentation using my Qtek 9100 on video projector ...
Does anybody know is there a way to do that ? Maybe using some accessory or bluetooth connection if present on projector?
Thanks
You can't
No I am afraid you can't do that.... they haven't given that possibility I really wonder why. When one pays so much this is the one thing that is really missing. A direct TV out.

SOTI pocket controller
You can do this from the PDA via a PC hooked to the projector using Soft Object Technology's Pocket Controller. I bought it originally for my Wallaby, recently got a Wizard and am using it there now. Nifty application, you can do everything with the desktop image that you can do with the touchscreen, and I think it lets you record a movie of you doing stuff on the PDA.
More info here: http://www.soti.net/
Well worth the registration cost IMO

Not sure if it will work with the MDA though.

That's prety cool I'd get one to try but I keep my presentations on the SD card... LOL kinda hard to show the presentation if I have to take it out...heh. Currently I just transfer the presentation to someone's laptop and use theirs. Kinda "old tech" and not "high tech".

this looks like what you need
hmmmm... would this do the trick???

Maybe, why not... I am sure it would be more than 10 $!
I see that SpecTec has upgraded to 1024x768. Any other newer options out there?? Thanks!
BT?
I remember seeing that a projector supported bluetooth to transfer images. Wouldn't it be a solution for that, meaning you buy a bluetooth adaptor to hook to your projector and use the internal bluetooth to transmit your presentation? This way the SD port would remain available for the SD memory cards with the presentation.
If one finds it, please share...

I really wondering what you are 'lolz'-ing at. I'm not sure if you are ignorant or the Pakistan people (who sell the cords) are ignorant. As I have said a million time in this forum, getting the cable (cord) into a socket doesn't mean it works. You can connect a USB to 240V socket, doesn't mean you can charge your unit directly onto the phone (kids, dont try this at home).
How much do you understand about the USB connection, and the video connection (the yellow thing you've mentioned). Not to mentioned that one runs on digital and one runs on analog signal (at a different frequency), they probably runs at a different voltage anyway. And also, the fact that, a Wizard phone doens't have USB host to it, it wont do the job in the way you've mentioned.

Hello everyone, I am very happy to be a part of this forum. I love my NT 16GB with CM7. It is awesome.
I have an old HP Mini 1000 netbook with a bad hard drive and no screen. My thought is to mount the tablet in the area where the screen was and use the keyboard/mouse/camera/speakers and periferals. I suppose I would have to cause the tablet to function as motherboard/screen and attach all devices through usb. It is probably more work than it is worth, but would be neat to see. Let me know what all you smart folks think.

with a fully functioning ( ota ? ) usb port, then YES.
Totally out of my knowledge base here, but I think I remember reading something about "USB hosting" needing to be enabled in order to use USB peripherals. The NC has this cracked, but I don't think anyone has figured this out for the NT yet.

Tell me what you know about the NC's usb port please. . And I remember too that the development person toiling away on the new kernel @Kurma30, said the port's got no power ( oh no ! ) and so you need a powered hub -or- custom wiring ( ? ? ? ) to get usb to first base. Hmm.

Hi there,
you need atf box for unlocking your device and for replacing dload with qualcomm bootloader.
But you needed to solder a modified rj-45 cable to your device's mainboard, which is very difficult.
With the cable mentioned in this thread, you don't have do the soldering, as this cable can "connect" to the parts you usually have to solder the wires
So, you still need ATF Box + This cable. The good thing: you only have to disassemble your phone and connect it
No more soldering!
Btw, i ordered the cable yesterday, and inform you when tested

yes ,if you have ATF BOX , you have to point ur finger on motherboard exactly where your testpoints are to get a proper connection
it works just fine then i just swaped my osbl to qualcom yesterday
Lordmaxey -NICE ROM (FUNKY) ,I've found couple bugs but overall it's just great , video usb out should fit it needs at all
now I'm going to try cook my own )
Unfortunately it doesn't have pins for VCC and VCCQ, and so can't be used for the card reader hack, only with ATF. However, the CLK-to-GND trick should still work with them.

Net,
Why dont you open your own thread to explain your hacks?
Im very intrested in your concept-to-proof methods.
best,

It's being discussed in the "dev-only" thread.
If you do not have the ATF BOX you can not use an emulator? On Symbian (5230, 5800, etc.) I used JAF JAF PKEY emulator with GM .. You can not do such a thing? Sorry if I said bull****!
The ATF Box is not just a hardware dongle - it's an FPGA device that is used for reading/writing the eMMC chip. Also, it doesn't simply implement the MMC protocol as a card reader would - it actually tampers with the MMC command/data messages sent by the phone's CPU, while the PCB is powered on. (This is why it doesn't need access to the VCC and VCCQ pins.)
Unless you have a matching FPGA that you can program with the ATF logic, you cannot use the Lumia TP functions of the ATF software without a genuine box.
Cyclone Box is slightly easier to emulate, as it uses an AVR microcontroller, rather than an FPGA, so it may be possible to program an Arduino for the job - however, the Cyclone software still has major problems with its eMMC implementation (specifically, it tries to use SPI mode, instead of 1-bit MMC, but SPI is only supported on removable MMC cards, not eMMC). Also, Cyclone Box requires VCC and VCCQ access, since its eMMC mode is simply an SD/MMC card reader implemented in MCU - in fact, it can connect to normal SD/MMC cards as well as eMMC chips.
Sorry, wrong thread.

Yes you need to remove Shield but it's not need to remove by any iron. i can be done by simply tweezer

Interesting when someone else adds support for these cables. (To a cheap box (Best infinity / MXbox / Fenix Key etc etc).
ATF is not really worth it if you are not in the gsm business.
(Maybe I will buy an ATF when my dev unlock runs out if I have to I don't like paying money to phone shops unless they actually do something that is a reasonably skilled job - problem I have is none of them are willing to do any of them near me (And there is tons of them eyesores on the high street).
hello to comunity,
i have the samsung galaxy s 2 gt-u9100 mobile phone and everything was perfect untill i opened the phone, the phone has problem at the back housing so i ordered a new one and replaced it, i made everything with caution and slowly. while i changed the back housing i opened the phone and everything was good untill i saw that there was no signal. i did it 2g and i see that there is onlu on raw ar the signal and sometimes none.
i opened the phone again and checked everything but saw nothing wrong. as i searched i saw that the GSM is this part and the cable that connects the antenna is this one . both of them are perfect.
i lost all my day trying with that , at start i had SlimRom 2 then i put the stock one via Odin but it didnt boot, stocked in the boot image (didnt wanted to search why ) so i flashed kernel again and then NeatRom, still no signal and then i went back to SlimRom. but the problem as i saw is not from the rom .
if anyone knows about that thing and tell me what to do i would be gladfull .
That bit is the antenna c/w speaker. There is a thread related to this about usb replacement.People mention about similar problems when they remove the antenna cable.
Heres a pic of spares I have, and look at the gold contacts on the antenna,as they need to be in good contact with the ones on the usb board.Maybe its that,or maybe new antenna is faulty.Try your old one in to eliminate that though. It could even be the antenna cable.
The thread is by someone whos name is Dugud,or similar

maybe take it to a shop with someone who knows what they are doing. I just had to do this with mine, I considered trying to get parts cheap and diy then I considered how much time and stress it could cause me = not worth it. It cost me £25 to have usb replaced, second thing I checked was the signal as I see many having problems with this - outcome is my phone is working sweet again and it only took a couple of hours of my time :cyclops:
Best of luck
Did you read that thread?.I seen a post on here once where someone said they removed that white antenna cable, then refitted it,and lost signal. Then they bought a new cable, which solved the problem.
Also, you dont know the condition of the part you changed, and theoretically you are meant to use anti static wristband and mat when your touching sensitive electronic components......lol

Hello everybody,
I made this account specifically for this one problem, and i don't belive i've seen it before on this site. Alright, let me cut to the chase:I've had a Galaxy Trend plus for about a year and a half now (an oldie but a goodie) and i use it as my daily driver, mostly for emulators and WiFi. With one of those two knocked out, i'm desperate for help.
Okay, so all of a sudden it displays the no connection icon like a crossed circle thingy, and whenever i turn on WiFi, it won't detect it even 10 inches from the router. I've never had this error and i'm pretty concerned. My SIM card works on my friends phone, however. I've looked everything there is to look up, and i've done everything software-wise , which makes me think it's a hardware problem. If it is, is it under the warranty or not?If I can't make phone calls or browse the Interwebs, the phone is pretty much useless. If you guys have any suggestions or ideas, please help out an old Android fanboy
