Plz could you help me to root my phone?
I have bought it and rooted with no problem, then updated with kies and got unrooted..and couldn't root again with any method I've found..
later doing some stuff my IMEI went to null/null
and cannot fix anything because of I'm not root..
I've tryed lots of methods I've found on the web..
I think it's this update that's playing with me..

Hi guys i am knew at this,
read all sorts of guides ive installed streakdriod 1.90 andriod version 2.2.2 everything works great however now I have an unknown baseband and no imei number so I cant connect to my network which is 02. Please can someone help me out not sure what I need to do

I got Virgin/bell SGS2 and I rooted the phone to unlock so I can use it with FIDO.
I didn't backup stuff.. or I might did but not sure...

I rooted my phone by Odin and installed ((CF-Root-SGS2_XW_LUX_KJ1-v5.0-CWM5.tar), and LION ROM but now it asks for SIM network unlock PIN... I did try a lot of unlockers but none worked.

I installed the GALAXSIM Unlock but it says: Either your nv_data md5 file in inexistent/wrong or samsung md5 function has changed. Stopping here to prevent eventual errors.
It just defines my Device Model: GT-I9100 and all other things (IMEI,Nv/country, Nv data consistency, Network lock...etc are UNDEFINED.
so what should I do?

First off, download Root checker from playstore and see if you are rooted.
Back up EFS with kTool.
If so try installing Busybox* (Version 1 / Version 2) and keep it running in background (home button). Then install Galaxy S unlock and run it.
*If one version doesn't work, try the other one. Remember to keep it running in background.

Yes even it was rooted, it didnt work so I rerooted through ODIN and installed/rooted another CF_ROOT version. Now it works great!

I was y 4.1 with that problem, then i thought it would solve flashing the 4.3 official Firmware. No :crying: now the bootloader locked, i wont flash custom Roms and the Baseband/Imei unknown. For now i just wanna solve the Baseband/IMEI problem cuz i cant make calls.. help me! :crying::crying:

**** I've tried every possible stock rom , from 2.3.6 to 4.1.2 Still the same problem no network (baseband unknown)
**** tried the kies firmware update and initialising using model and S/N , cause kies doesn't recognize my E160S but i face this problem "SHV-E160S does not support initialising " , tried all the possible solution to this too but still the same problem
**** the problem is i didn't back up my EFS , and i've tried flashing modems but no result at all ,
(can't afford to take it to a repair shop , )
help me please ,
all i need is EFS backup (efs.tar) and nv_data.bin
I'll be eternally grateful

having an issue of the same nature no baseband no imei ETC with a sgh i717 any luck on a fix

The fix is in the post above yours. Flash that file using Odin and you should be golden. Basically you just need to flash the radio image.
