I'm using the xperia mini pro. My question is regarding grouping of contacts. I saw many questions about this in various forums, but couldn't find a solution that works for me.
The problem: I have grouped contacts on gmail, but I cannot see the grouping information in the phone's 'contacts' application. I'm using the stock application.
Do you have any advice/solution?

When I setup my gmail, it brought over ALL my contacts, including the 3K members emails from the Corvette Forum I run. I didn't know that happened until I went to setup my contacts. Plus, there are many repeats, or duplicates.
I couldn't find any way to delete all of them at once as it takes too long to delete one at a time. When that didn't work, I tried deleting one and got this message:
"This contact is read only and cannot be modified."
What the HECK???
How can I delete all my contacts, plus undo the read only crud.
I only want about 20 contacts, no more.
* I did a search and couldn't find anything on my problem for the Streak.

What does it do? Fix problems?
Have you tried putting then all in a group and not showing that group?

Fix some of your problems like duplicate/ multiple entries. Just try it is free in the market

Hi,
I'm using ogo's 2.3.3 on my legend and I noticed that whatsapp has less contacts listed than under 2.2.
Contact with phone number is listed in contacts.
Anybody experiencing similar issues?
Edit: only Facebook contacts are affected, sync works, but contacts won't be synced with whatsapp.

stock ok, depends on launcher+phone. if slow, then it will effect also your apps progress

Tnx, for the mails i wanted to find an app that permit to have a lot of mail account (like hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc) in the same app... Do you know something, guys?
You can search Play Store. You'll find something you like there rather than ask others for suggestions. Try K-9 mail.

Dont you know a mail app where you can configure your account easily?? Otherwise i'll use the default email app, that is like K-9 MAIL...
Hello everybody,
I have a problem with the Facebook synchronisation of the facebook inside xperia feature. When I connect my contacts on the phone with my facebook contacts, their corresponding user pictures aren't downloaded.. The profile information of facebook is integrated into the phonebook but no user pictures appear. I tried deleting data of the phonebook and also every facebook related app but nothing happens.. Any ideas?

Buddy I've had exactly the same problem as you and it's an absolute bummer but thankfully a guy over in the thread I posted has been an absolute legend and pointed me in the direction of the app called Facebook contact-sync and it works like a dream!

try to synchronize all contacs in facebook. Not only from phonebook

Thank your for your great advice... Works like a charm!
Does anyone know how you can mark any element of the Facebook or LinkedIn contacts as default, like email address, number or name, as you could with the S2 or HTC devices? It seems to me you can only change the pictures. Why would Samsung change this functionality? While I'm at it, why did they remove Social Hib as well?
