I brick my x10 when tried to root my phone using flash method but my usb broke while it flashing so it is aborted and my phone stucked at sony ericsson logo
can anyone help me to unbrick my phone?
-I need to adjust the usb port to make the device detected.

If your usb is broken then buy a new usb as it is required for charging also. After that, use SEUS for updating.

its my phone usb port that is broken..i have test my cable with other phone..its work..
should i send my phone to sony ericsson service?

Ok, I got an broken usb port on my x10.. and since i can't have 2.3 gingerbread update cuz the only way is on usb plugged to the computer..
But i would rather Root it so PLEASE XDA PLEASE Help me with a app to root my Phone PLEASE I have Tried z4 and Universal Androot. but i got 2.1 Update1

I have.. i can't find anythin.
Help...so here is the thing
So today i checked for updates via pc companion...i was on stock gb...
so i saw the 6.1.a.0.4.52 update to ics.....so i pressed update.........had the phone connected to pc,downloaded update and suddently it vibrated and it powerd off...pc companion said "checking phone".....ok then i was scared .....i could not power on my poor phone and then i presed power button + up button for 10 second and it vibrated thrice...so then i entered in flashmode and then it started downloading my update again!but it failed and told sth about internet connection...then i fixed internet connection......pressed try again tryied but the same thing(although i had internet conection) ...then pc companion forced closed and here am i....when powering on my phone i see sony logo and then i see a phone with a danger signal....when also connecting to pc companion it recognises it as a se phone what should i do????
PLEASE I DONT WANT TO LOSE MY love!!!
Try to flash in flashmode with Flashtool utility. It should work! I revived an Xperia S once with about the same problem (it even didn't charge properly anymore).

Providing you flash the correct firmware for your region, they won't find out. What region are you from or is your phone a generic non-carrier branded phone

ok man, now you should unlock bootloader, its a nice shot, so if you have problems later, you can flash a ftf firmware or a custom firmware

i would like to....but it will void my warranty......and if something happens to my phone i would not be able to send it back where i bought it.........but i will think about it.....
Thanks for the tip devilakos, I ran into the the exact same problem today with my girlfriends brand new phone! I thought i would have to take it back... thankfully SEUS flashed it just fine and it boots into ICS now.

Take that to repair shop.
you can't do anything a'bout that,they must use jtag to recover It... costs up to 50usd

i got 2 xperia x10 mini pro..
the 1st already been unlock bootloader & been changin' roms without problem since last year..
the 2nd x10 mini pro (new) i brick it when i try to unlock bootloader last 2 days but suddenly, its wont boot at all..
trying using SEUS but my PC cant detect the device..

device were totally death..

In that case j-tagging is the only option.
Yesterday i unlock the bootloader of my Xperia neo V ICS 4.0.4 rooted and recovery,
by Testpoint method using the s1tool. Everything was correct (the process said finished) but my phone shutdown and got bricked it cant be booted, theres no led no vibration nothing. Its just like is dead, i tried connecting it to a wallcharger without usb.
It dont do anything theres nothing in the screen. (The battery is charged, i charged it with a universal battery charger, but the phone dont do anything)
Sorry for the very vague description. I tried to find a solution but anything works i repeat theres no LED or vibration.
Please help.

i fixed it with tool4se ..... i remotely shared my smart card to his pc and rewrite the phone's semcboot...
Hi guys!
My friend ask me if I could repair his Xperia. Problem with phone looks like this: when you trying turn it on it only lights black screen for moment.
It's happening again and again.
I tryed flashing new firmwares via flashtool but it's still not working properly.
I used firmwares from here:

I don't think so becouse once after installing one of firmwares Sony Ericsson logo appeared for while.
