If you are looking to replace your 8125 case here's an excellent deal.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=360011196557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=023
I've purchased one of these and it includes all the buttons. The antenna cover already had the antenna installed. It even included the black rubber gasket around the display. All I had to move was the ear piece and the vibrator.
I don't know if they are take offs but mine was in A+ shape. They don't include the back cover.
Awesome!
Beats paying $50+ for a new shell...
My only question is; can you move the MDA circuitry to the 8125 shell? Seems logical, seeing as both are the same hardware.
Great find... They also have the wiz200.

I got the same housing from this seller and it's brand new! No scratches, no nothing. Just be aware that it does not include the battery cover.

I bought one from them and sent a message to them that there was a chip in the corner of one of the pieces.
In the auction listing, it states that they may come damaged but should not affect working order.
So...be aware that there may be cosmetic damage.
They were kind enough to send a replacement, which I should be getting in a few days.
Hopefully, it will be a new piece.
Update:
These guys are great....well in my case anyways.
In the previous post I mentioned that a had a chipped corner on the housing and requested a new piece.
Well, those guys sent out a whole new setup..this one was in great shape....dont know if it was new, but looks practically brand new.
There was never any questions on their end...they just sent out another one.
I would recommend them highly. Great customer support.
O btw, I told them I would send the original one back...they said to keep it.
WOW...top notch guys.
I just ordered one of those cases i'll make sure to let you all know how it comes when i get it!
Very Nice... there were a few minor scratches on the corners and buttons but other than that the housing i bought for my wizard was in great shape! no battery door cover tho
can some post a pick of the how the device looks in this housing?
got mine. no back cover, no screws. so what, do i use the screws from my wizard shell to close the new 8125 shell?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7409Gq51RFE
Gotta check this out. It's alot cheaper than others.
Thanks
I got a Wizard 100 (Cingular Branded) shell. It looks brand new.......not one scratch on it. It didn't come with a battery cover though
Ordered it last night...Should be here middle of the week.I hope it's in good condition.
anyone knows where i can get some extra screws?
i was about to assemble the wizards guts in to the new shell, but the keypads dont line up, if i go along and assemble, i wont have use of the send call button and the end call button, and some other buttons as well
Good Deal
The one they sent me was in great shape!!!
I just ordered a shell for my T-Mobile branded Wizard 200....I hope it will be practically new like the Cingular Branded Wizard 100 shell I ordered earlier...
Hey guys,
My white unlocked Hero has sustained some nasty body scratches plus it is starting to turn yellow. I'm considering a full body replacement. I was only able to find this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/GENINUE-HOUSING-FACEPLATE-FACIA-GOOGLE-G3-HTC-
HERO-WT_W0QQitemZ280402919652QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item41495100e4
Do you think that it's going to be as good as the original one? The seller claims that it's genuine, What do you think?
I found a site that has both the black and white housing for the gsm hero.
http://www.truesupplier.com/faceplate-housing-cover-for-htc-hero-g2-touch-white-color-pr-18489.html
How do I know that it's genuine? or at least as good as the original HTC cover?

The web page is called "truesupplier.com". OF COURSE its genuine
How hard is it to change the housing anyway?
by changing housing you will probably break phone trust me ... and truesupplier housing is oem not genuine by looks of it..
He might not break it if he's careful, and has the proper tools. I've taken apart a few phones without causing any problems.
So unless i'm handy at doing these things, I should not do it myself?
What if I have our local HTC agent do it? Will it at least look as good as new?
i have the white hero and would love to put the black case on it.
the site mentioned above says it comes with the tools needed to change the cover, has any tried doing this?
i would love to go for it but don't want to f*&k my phone up!
i think its not so difficult to switch the cover if you take off the backcover there are 6 screws than open the case from the top of the mobile phone and pull it off
but becarefull maybe there are flatcables from die lcd or the trackball just make it slow and be carefull all the time
and maybe you can find a dissembly how to in google
peace
this site has pics of disassembly of a hero but it's in russian.
http://www.pdacenter.ru/razborka/htc_hero/
If you have to pry the phone open use something plastic so you dont damage the original case. Just in case the ebay housing is rubbish.

whats the difference between oem and genuine
any1 bought replacement white hoising? mine is getting yellow. so need to buy a back cover.
Thinking of buying one myself. I accidentally dropped mine on the tiled floors of my workplace toilets LOL (luckily not IN the toilet). so now there's a little nick on the top left corner of the case.
If this is your first time you will probably scratch the covers but nothing more. You need to be very patient and i will suggest take a look to a good tutorial.
iopened my hero 1 week ago and its so easy maybe in the next days i will upload a video in youtube
bye
I bought the ebay one. It's surprisingly well built (Not Teflon though).
The sad part is that my touch screen got screwed up during the installation. The bottom part of the screen is no longer functional and the sensitivity is messed up overall. Did the replacement in a local phone shop.
Now trying to find a way to fix it.

hmm do you want to sell me your backplate of your old case? i need it please
and to fix your problem : you need a new display glas with digitizer
to remove your old glas: use a hairdryer, you have to heat up the old clue of the old glas and than you can push it easily out of the frame but be carefull not to heatup the frame, the plastic can deform, maybe you can cover it with aluminium foil from the kitchen
the video of the dissembly will be uploaded tomorrow by me
good night guys!

This over is only valid for the HD that sells on US or are the same for all the world and will be valid for my European HD?
thanks!
I have purchase from these guys and the products are good. The one problem you'll have is replacing the screen cover. The screen is basically sealed to the front chasse and you most likely will break it removing it. And, if you don't, then the digitizer is really sensitve and that will be damaged.
kersh have you received your unit?
I've bought my casing replacement here

and it fits like a charm

this is not true (see thread on replacing the lcd screen). There are some holes in the chassis which are - in my opinion - indeed designed to push out the lcd without destroying it. Of course, if you're clumsy you will break it - but this is true anyway and if you feel you are - go directly to a repair service and you'll save money.
I can't find any info on this, but it looks like it could be tricky to replace. I cracked my glass by dropping it onto stone, still works OK. You can pick up digitisers pretty cheap on ebay (£20 UK) but does anyone know how to replace? I read that they can be glued to the LCD?
Thanks
Google for the fixit website, if someone has done it there will be a tutorial, or you could follow the guide on here to upgrade your sd card....only because you have to take the phone fully apart. You need to check if the lcd is glued or like the iphone 4 resin. If they are a sealed unit you'd be better off getting the lcd/digitizer combo on ebay. trying to separate an lcd from the digitizer is asking for trouble imho.
I have ordered a digitiser, really hope the digitiser is not glued to the LCD, there is a big price difference. I'll let you know how I get on.
I bought a Mozart with wrecked digitizer and also want to repair it. The digitizer is on its way, so in a week i could tell you how difficult or maybe easy it is.
If you are faster, please post your experience.
I found this thread on xda.cn, and it seems that the lcd isnt glued on the digitizer, so lets hope so
hxxp://xxx.xda.cn/newshow.php?snid=2167
EDIT: sorry cantpost links, so must change the x's to t's and w's
I have got my digitiser now, looks brand new. Just need to find the time to replace, might upgrade the SD card at the same time.
Done
I did this with Andy's guide to help: http://lifeinthefastlaneok.wordpres...-7-mozart-sd-card-memory-upgrade/#comment-225
I used this guide to replace my digitiser (the glass) which I smashed. The good news is that the digitiser is not stuck to the LCD at all. I just bought a grade A digitiser off ebay for £20 which was pretty much perfect - glass was perfect with a couple of small marks on the back case, but basically like new.
There were a couple of differences to this guide:
- Had to replace a speaker type thing at the top of the digitiser that was not present on the new one. Came off quite easily, just stuck in.
- Had to remove the USB port of the old case back (if you are replacing that too) but that was just a couple of screws
- You dont have to split the PCB off if doing this, you just take off the black clips to take it apart and then remove the orange ribbon cable, it is a little tricky to get the new one in but OK.
I now have a phone as good as new, I didn't replace the SD at the same time but probably will do at some point when I can stand loosing all my data.
Found time today to replace the digitizer. I also used Andy's videos for instruction. And it's really not that hard. Pretty easy for someones first mobile phone repair.
Well done, I would add for anyone else needing to do this, be very careful not to touch the inside of the digitiser or the LCD when you have it apart! Also have a glasses cloth handy for removing any dust particles just before you put it back together.
I do have one strange thing however - before I had intermittent issues where I could not slide the screen up when locked for 10 seconds or so. No I have a slightly different issue when unlocking - it doesn't always let me press on the right hand 3 numbers on the PIN screen! So it seems the unlocking issue some people have is due to a hardware issue. My digitiser was second hand so I might ask for a replacement, but I can change my pin so that it is not an issue.
My Mozart touch-screen hardly works at all plus my wife's Mozart has a cracked digitizer glass (still working fine).
So silly me I took the plunge and ordered three cheap replacement digitizers via eBay (from Hong Hong). They arrived today and all are s**t useless.
When I opened the box I smelt the rat when I spied the HTC logo on each was blanked out on the outside of the plastic zip-lock bags (with what looked like black felt pen), plus each glass has minor blemishes/scratches. Comparing each with the digitizers I removed from my and my wife's phones, they have a different design of ribbon cable conductor layout plus there are indications the plastic moulding isn't as well finished in a couple of places. Either these are factory rejects or knock-off copies. Lesson learnt :-(
Anyway, I now need to buy genuine HTC parts.
Any pointers toward reliable sources appreciated, thanks.
KJ
I have bought some off ebay. The problem is that these are almost always from returned Mozart's which may well have been returned due to non responsive screens, which seems to be a very common problem.
I have had 2 off the same chap now, one is OK but not perfect, the other one didnt work at all.
I would just keep returning them until you get one that works.
Sometimes you will find new combined digitiser/LCD's on ebay too, these would be a better bet but cost more.
Can someone who as changed a screen on this phone using Andys guide, please tell me how easy or hard it was, and how long does it take??
And would be grateful if someone could give me a link to the correct digitizer for this phone....
I am in the UK and have been qouted 50 pounds at a phone shop for the to supply and fit screen...
Did you see my post?

The most tricky thing for me was getting all the dust off the LCD and the digitsier, as soon as you get it apart things start sticking to it like crazy. Have a clean glasses cloth around.
It takes about an hour on your first go. The main thing is to get the orange ribbon cablle in fully, it can be tricky - you need to get a good grip on it (fold it a little) and push it home quite hard, otherwise you get it all back together and find it doesn't work.
I have had 2 dodgy screens off ebay, £50 sounds OK if it is a brand new original HTC screen.
Or just search for 'htc mozart digitiser' on ebayt there are loads.

Thank you for that. A close look at the ones I bought from china I'm sure now are removed from phones with faulty digitizers, then repackaged as new. One of the three had significant dust and dirt on the inside of the digitiser screen. I've requested a refund via PalPal disputes.
I've ordered some digitizers from ecell in the UK. I'm led to believe by them that these are genuine HTC factory supplied spares.
KJ
I just replaced my 4th screen (1 broke, 2 dodgy).
This one is perfect - as new condition and works perfectly, my last one was not responsive in some situations e.g. lock screen.
This is the one I got (UK)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130498971267?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Of course, your mileage may vary - some are probably good, some not. Replace it, if it doesn't work ask for another, etc.
My new digitizers arrived today from the uk. Horray they are genuine HTC spare parts properly packaged. The downside is they don't include the frame the glass sit in and is adhered to.
So I watched the official HTC Mozart disassembly video on youtube to see how to remove the existing digitizer glass from the frame - got it apart ok after heating the unit to soften the adhesives but it didn't come away entirely cleanly i.e some of the adhesive foam broke away and was left on the underside of the glass.
So... check on eBay and found sellers selling refurbished screen frames ready for a new glass to be attached.
Will update on progress once they arrive.

Hello everybody,
I m trying to replace the digitiser of a HTC Mozart too.
It is really easy to do, even the part where you have to take off the digitiser from the plastic frame.
But I have an issue, it is the second digitiser I am using ( from the same ebay shop ) and the digitiser is working inverted vertically! Really strange but it is like that.
As the mobile phone is started up, when I push on a left buton, it push on a right button ! On the key board, when I press on "P" it press on "A" ( i m using an Azerty layout, I assume it should be "Q" on your layout ).
It is really anyoing of course.
It is the second screen I received from the Ebay shop and same issue, I don't think the problem come from my side, but I just want to ask to you all if somebody have an idea or the same issue once.

Mate, I had the same problem. However it seems no one was able to help me either.
I also purchased a digitizer from Ebay for my Mozart - the exact same inverted issue occurred with me. I wasn't able to find a solution.
I'm in Australia with a T8697 model. The digitizer I received from Ebay had a circle around the windows button at the bottom - This was not on my original screen.
In the end, I purchased a digitizer from an Australian business. Cost double the Ebay digitizer did, so I hope it works... Haven't received it yet, but I'll let you know when I put it in.
What model Mozart do you own?

If we mark anything as OEM in the title then it's OEM. Otherwise it won't be marked in the title, and on the product page it will say aftermarket next to "Condition". So no worries if you want to shop with us :good:
Feel free to have a look at our YouTube page just search etradesupply, we have over 6 million views.
It's a legit OEM replacement. I bought one. I wasn't successful in installing it because I fubar'd my disassembly, but it's legit. PM me if you want to see better pictures of it or buy the one I got, lol.
Stay well away from the likes of etradesupply, I gave them many chances to send me quality replacement parts, all failed. My guess is yes they may be OEM but I would say they are 2nds or refurbished parts. AVOID!
Hello,
one thing id like to say is that replacing just the digitizer is very very difficult. Basically, its not going to happen.
I've replaced my dna screen twice, battery once and my volume flex cable/buttons once.
i bought this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Complete-HT.../370896928288?ssPageName=ADME:L:eek:C:US:3160
from gadgetfix on ebay and it was great. i already had the tools (you can pm me for more info if you need). the first screen assembly i bought was from repairsuniverse and i was not happy with the screen quality (colors were washed out due most likely to poor assembly of digitizer to lcd). The assembly is really a glass cover+digitizer+lcd and is worth it if you want to not run into problems
Not sure but their shipping is outrageous!
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
It is too far from OEM. I have ordered "OEM" LCD+frame assembly for HTC One X (sharp version). Yes, it arrived without scratches. But the color of screen is going to yellow. Besides that, there is a tiny gap at the bottom between LCD and frame. But the worst thing that happened - after 3 days of using, LCD started to peel off from the frame (so I had to go to the repair shop and they re-peeled it). So NO, IT IS NOT OEM...

I buy an iphone 6 lcd screen at hcqs.cc .
Are they same website?
Just take a deep consider before buy it
They sends wrong/cheap items and don't agree this.
I've ordered my cracked Lumia 920 touch screen from this site. But they sent me cheap and not oem part. i asked for exchange or money back. But they still don't agree it's wrong item.
i've ordered GRADE S+ item (it means 100% OEM and original)
but they sent GRADE R item (Not original/ similar china made)
Think twice before buy items from this site.
OEM? What a joke!
I know this is an old post. However, if I can stumble on it in 2016, I assume others could still see it in the foreseeable future and hence my comment below.
These guys advertise their so called S+ grade as *OEM*. They do have other grades that are "OEM-Compatible". Thus, S+ is definitely advertised as genuine products. Unfortunately, I received an S+ grade Samsung S4 glass-digitizer module that is *NOT* even properly assembled! A working part would have the vertical flex cable on top of the horizontal one and connect to the white connector above. Their part has the vertical cable buried under the horizontal one and connects to nowhere! The touch function as a result is not working. I doubt this is an OEM product but likely a counterfeit!
Sorry I cannot post a photo here or insert a link to an external site since I'm new. If you want to see the photo, contact me plz.
I once bought a iPhone 7 LCD Screen and Digitizer Assembly with Frame Replacement - Black - Grade S+ in Etrade Supply online shop, the phone parts looks very like the OEM and it works well... There are four grades in their shop just like Grade A,Grade R,Grade S,Grade S+. Grade S+ is 100% original manufactured,so what you buy is correct....
Bought a Nexus 5 screen in S+ grade - so apparently everything should be like an original part. Luckily I have a second Nexus with the original screen and could compare the two. Brightness levels are different with the S+ one being noticeably dimmer at full brightness and brighter at low brightness. The screen also has slightly warmer color reproduction than the original one.
I am not sure if the quality was worth the effort of buying overseas and I will try to get a Paypal refund as the product is clearly not as described.
Someone with money to spare should test how the front glass actually compares to the gorilla glass on the original screen.
EtradeSupply OEM LCD screen replacement parts
There are no original replacement parts on the aftermarket but the S+ LCD screen on etradesuply is close to OEM, it also has a high quality than others.
Grade S+ parts are those with 100% original core components like LCD, IC chip, flex, while non-core component like frame can be original or original compliant (Up to the main market trend), which are assembled by the original factories.
