Ive had the CM7 GSB rom flashed for 2 days now , But for some reason any app that needs SU permissions does not work! , I have the newest SU installed....
Please help me , Thank you!

Try reflashing the ROM. Also, it's hard to tell from your message, but you say that you have the latest SU. The ROM comes with an SU that works fine, so if you are installing it yourself, try not doing that.

Alright, i have run into a problem.
I bricked my phone a while back so i flashed back to stock through ODIN. I used z4 root the first time i flashed so i used it again and everything seemed fine. i installed rom manager TB and everything was working fine. THEN, i flashed CyanogenMod- Trigger Redux build 17 through recovery.
Everything seemed fine at first, superuser was installed and i could grant permissions, CWMrecovery was working and everything was great.. but then...idk hooowwww, but busybox just didnt work and it said i wasnt rooted. TB stopped working. and all my other root needed apps didnt work because BusyBox wasnt running because of my missing root.
but recovery still works, superuser still works and gives me super user rights, and my rom still runs perfectly so ive been avoiding asking questions til now.
i heard to try fixing permissions and still no go. and z4 root wont work now (of course)
So i guess my question is: whats going on? do i have a bad root, did i not root completely, should i reroo?(if so, what method) what should i do?
If anyone knows what i should/could do please let me know.

try re-rooting with superonelick(latest version)
Flash the latest trigger. No data should be lost if you are running it.

If the problem persists (it won't) then download busybox from the market.
Worst case, use my noob guide to Odin and flash trigger.... 15 minutes tops

Yes, but you need to update trigger. It doesn't wipe.

just a day ago busybox ahowed me an update from the market i clicked on install and the update got downloaded. when i tried to run busybox from the menu i.e. busybox installer it says.
/system/xbin/ could not be mounted as RW,the install will fail
i tried changing the different versions n even on path /system/bin/
but nothing got installed..
and now even my wifi stopped working..it just shows obtaining ip address
now what should i do i got stucked in the middle...i cant use internet and even i want to change the ROM
i am currently using openOptimus ciaox 2.3.3

Did you try rebooting, uninstalling, and then reboot again. Then download and install the app again?
i tried everythng..even setting up router too..
tried connecting wth a different router too..
now i swapped my phone with cyanogen ROM 2.3.5 its fine now.!

Hey guys i'm trying to search with tapatalk but it doesn't work, anyhow I just rooted my gfs phone with revolutionary flashed Su installed a custom ROM, but Su keeps force closing even after update it seems like only half the time i'm able obtain root, everything was wiped prior installing the ROM any suggestions? Use recovery to fix permissions, worth a try. Question why use an outdated discontinued ROM, flash something that is current and will get updates such as BAMF. If you like ziggy I suggest Son of a Bliss new 3.5 sense perfect for a girl based on HTC Bliss. And requires special kernel to work so search forum but i use imo test 3.8

Superuser has been having fc issues the past couple days. I had to remove the updates back to version 3.0 in order to fix mine. Some people had luck with just clearing the app data. worst case you could completely uninstall and download a stable version to the Sd card and install from recovery.

That is a copy of superuser version 2.3.6.3 I too had problems with the new superuser and then reverted back to this one. Flash in recovery.

Since I'm rooted and flashed Faux kernel, I have connection problems (wireless & 4G), is very slow. Today I had an infinite bootloop, I removed the battery to solve the problem. I also had problems with update SU ... I went on the market for the SU fixer. For that, it's ok...but is there anyone who can tell me what to do to return to the original version of Telus? no more for me.

Download the correct ROM and follow the instructions.

You will also need to flash stock kernel back, I'll let you find that in the dev section...i'll give you a hint its by xboarder and its called kernel flasher by xboarder.
Thank's for the answers ... I flashed the kernel again and now everything works normally. A question about the superuser, I have a message telling me that it's obsolete, yet I installed the fix from market, always the same message, you have an idea?

Did you flash the stock rom back???? you should not have superuser if you flashed the stock rom back. you should always wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache, wipe factory settings from recovery before installing a rom.

absolutely not, just rooted (xboarder56 utility) & flash the kernel.
For SU, I currently have version 2.3.2.-efgh ... he told me There's a new version 3.0.3.2, it downloads but when installing, it says error

then you should flash the stock rom back.
hasoon in post number 3 told you what to do. Why are you not flashing stock rom back????
Because now everything is working as I want and I have the stock rom, right? First, I wanted it to be root with a custom recovery while keeping the rom that was already in phone. Eventually, I download another rom.
I just installed cm7.2 last night and everytime i open a rooted program i have to exept root permision somtimes 3 times in a row even thoe i have the save boxed checked.
Have you tried updating your SU binaries? Rebooting? I and many other have been running this ROM for a while without this issue. Did you do a clean install or what?

not sure how to update my binarys but i did do a clean install like the directions said i have even flashed over it onece casue the internet wasnt working fixed that problem but su problem still there.
Not sure what i did to fix it but it is fixed now updated the binarys and that didnot work then flashed new kernel and installed su updater fix dl in market then ran v6 supercharge to clean system and get back ram then poof it was all good.
Glad it worked out for you, best guess is the kernal fixed it? Dunno for sure but either way as long as it works now.
