I have Apps2sd installed in my Optimus One P500 (still in Froyo v10a), and I am preparing move forward with either Ungaze's data2sd or Link2SD. Apart from both *2sd require another partition to be created in the SD card, installation method (Ungaze's data2sd requires to flash Data2sd_v4b5.zip in recovery; whilst Link2SD could install right from Market), and limitation on stock rom (Ungaze's data2sd cannot use in stock rom whilst Link2SD don't have this limitation).
1. What are the real difference between of having Apps2sd installed and Ungaze's data2sd/Link2SD???
2. Presume there is not compatibility issue, which one performs better in official GB (e.g. OpenOptimus 2.202.1) or non-official GB (e.g. mik's 6.6.1 (CM7.1-RC1) - GB 2.3.5)??
3. Ungaze's data2sd requires un-install of Apps2sd first. Do Link2SD need to do the same??
Many thanks!!!
Ungaze A2SD
Is it just me or is the link to Ungaze's A2SD down ?
hey there..im not getting the same benchmarks. I only get around 2100 with the cpu set to 768Mhz. I am using miks rom and franco kernel 19.4 cfs. Help me out plz
Thanks

no, I'm saying it definitely works on CM7. Cant see it wouldn't work on LOL ROM, you just have to remove the old a2sd.. check the support thread by ungaze.
I basically want more space to install apps and stability..I heard people facing problem wth data2sd but some say its better....Sounds like a noob question but plzz help....
ive seen people running into problems with dt app2sd so id say first try ungazes data2sd
No love for Link2sd? It works just fine on all the ROMs I tried. I wouldn't know about data2sd since my class 4 card is too slow to run it.
apps2sd makes boot times really slow but it works like a charm on 2.2 ROMs. Havent tested it with mik's CM7.

Go for dt apps2sd. Link is given on cm7 first page. Currently I have 1gb ext4 partition and my 16gb class 4 sandisk SD card and its running very well.

Hi Guys,
First of all, i have used the search button to get my answer. But still couldnt find answers for all questions. So i thought i will post it here.
1. Does Darktremours a2sd comes pre-intalled with jusada's roms ? If not, can we install it separately ? If yes, where can i get it ?
2. Which is the best combination among the following ?
-- ICSSunday Final(with tweaks) with SlaidFastMod
-- ICSSunday Final(without tweaks) with SlaidFastMod
-- ICS2 with SlaidFastMod
-- Any other combo ???
3. Can we use swap partition on Ace ? What is the best swappiness value according to you ?
Wish I could help but I really haven't tried that ROM much. But at least I'll bump your question up...

1- dont really know. but if its not, yes u can install it manually. download script from here, put in root of sdcard, reboot into recovery, mount system partition, and flash it. finally read this for list of its commands.
2- not really sure. just try them all and stick with the one u like.
3- all of those jusada's ics u mention is based on cm7, which already had zram compcache. its similar to swap in a way. but if u use stock rom, cfroot kernel had swap function. just need to partition sdcard manually and activate it urself.
I like ics2 than ics final.
Now if you want to choose then choose ics without tweaks it is better than ics with tweaks.I have tried both.
If I helped you In any means hit thanks button.....
Hi,
I like Icsunday final (without tweeks) and LagfreeV1 script. Additionally set CPU govenor to “smartass“ and minimum CPU frequency to 245 to avoid the unlock lag.
I am absolutely happy with these settings

Thanks a ton Guys,
Here is what i did.
I tried both ICS final without tweaks and ICS2. I didnt like the look of ICS2. So i switched to ICS final without tweaks.
I installed a2sd as described by an0nym0us_. Works flawlessly. Moved the dalvik cache to sdcard set zipalign on boot.
Installed lagfreeV1 script.
Tried Chainfire3D. It screwed my phone. So had to repeat the above steps again
P.S. Now i have taken Nandroid backup
Now planning to use SetCpu instead of OC options in CM CPU governor.. Because when i tried to set OC using CM, my phone rebooted randomly.
Anybody tried to use swapping on Ace ? Did you use A2SDGUI or any other app to activate swap ? I have swap partition in my droid and I used it when i had FirstUA1.2 ROM.
EDIT: Guys. Just found out the problem for random restarts was not ChainFire . It was a2sd !! Trying link2sd. Will let you know how it goes.
I tried swapping before ICSunday - with swapper 2 on cm7.1. But I was not happy with that.
I never knew why, but my phone is much faster now without swapper.

Hi,
i got question concerning the use of an A2sd+ app (or alike) to save app data to the sd.
i already formatted the sd and now have a 2 gb ext partition, so i should be all set
what is the best way to do this with CM9 (FXP) and how can i install it ?
Would a swap partition speed things up ? how big should it be ? 512 mb or a gb?
i have a mini (St15i) running fxp 129 currently
thank you for your help !
first of all flash cm9 then install a2sd to transfer apps to sd card and if u want to speed up ur sd card try this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zZGluY3JlYXNlLml0Il0.

Why use old a2sd?
Take a look at link2sd. Much comfortable. You also can decide which app you will link to your sd card.

Which apps2sd supports stock Rom(2.3.3) except link2sd plz don't say to ask in general thread cuz no one replied from a day!!!!

Non of aap2sd support stock rom because app2sd need support of init.d which execute script when system is start and stock rom doesn't support init.d
If he install busybox he can use dt script

Yes...
Install busybox, flash Darktremors (stable release is recomended for stock, not beta04).
Then if you want to stick to DT just go ahead. But if you want to use other app2sd script, this Mounts2sd by Dk_zero_cool has the ability to remove previous app2sd script and you can decide whether to use it or not.
Confirmed working stable are DT, Mounts2sd, link2sd, ungaze's data2sd
