Interesting thing I found while playing Angry Birds. If you are a user like me and really hate playing through all of Angry Birds again (iDevices, Android devices, etc), this will definitely help you.
Note: Only tested this on Angry Birds HD, so I don't know if it works on the others.
1) Open Angry Birds then press play button
2) Select an area you haven't unlocked yet. (Mighty Hoax, Danger Above, The Big Setup, Ham 'em High)
3) Quickly press back button then home button.
4) Swipe card up and away.
5) Open Angry Birds again and quickly tap "Play" repeatedly.
6) If you did it correctly, you should be in the locked "world" with 1st level.
7) Make sure to get any amount of stars on the first level, else when you back out the world will still be locked.

I did try the Nesoid on my rooted wildfire running at 691 mhz and it works great without any problems. And I just wanted to see if it could run something much better than NES games.
I tried it yesterday and loaded Final Fantasy 5. After choosing the ROM, it just showed a black screen and kicked me back to the selection screen.

In FPSE, you can directly run the PS1 game (either ISO or BIN), but all games does not play. You need to try multiple games. Anyway, in the link, I have already mentioned some games which I tried.
yeah.. I guess I have to try a couple more games..I tried to play Final Fantasy 5 on it and thought "hey, If Final Fantasy 7 worked on it, I bet 5 would work"

this is not a game from gameloft or EA, it's not a "big" game.
it's just a puzzle game, i can open it, go to "Play", and then when i choose either Challenge or Relax, it automatically exits, (no force close prompt, no message like "your device is not compatible")
i thought i can play my favorite game on this device

maybe because i'm not on CM7. my NT is just rooted.
Just checked it on my Stock Rooted tablet. It loads to the point of starting the first game and then crashes out. I've run into a few programs like this that don't seem to run on the NT without also going to a full new rom.
CM7 may be on my agenda for this week.
I'm facing an very irritating problem on my live with walkman. whenever I play hd games like shadowgun, asphalt 6 n real racing 2 etc. these games gets paused automatically while playing don't know y..... n some games like GTA 3 n NFS shift works great without any problem..... any solution guys???? please help me n I'm on Stock Rom (.62) ......

no I didn't press any key actually it pauses randomly while playing without any reason even if I don't touchthe screen it gets paused

Did it "pause" or "hang up"?
it's usually cause by hitting/touching the back button without your notice those pad are really sensitive ..myself also experience it
or could be that your device is hot after playing game and cause the pad go crazy

it happens in 2 steps 1- it hangs for a while 2-n then pause menu appears automatically. this happens randomly

no I didn't touch the back key, it happens automatically even if I don't touch the screen n it happens when my device is on normal room temp.

Here's what is happening imo. When you are playing the game, some back ground app tried to come to the foreground. That's why there is a huge memory usage jump, and the game lags firstly. The game now behaves as if it is minimised, and thus the pause menu pops up.
How to get rid of it? I do not know how. But I can suggest. Force Stop all apps from setting, applications, running services; and then start playing the game.
Another suggestion. If you are having Root, then download ChainFire 3D from the market and use it to lower the demand on gpu, thus making things smoother.

i removed McAfee and other built in apps on the very first day. my two years experience of android says- you don't need any so called anti virus to protect android. he can protect himself.
Hello my friends here in Xda well I have a Xperia St15i recently I upgraded to stock ICS via SEUS and rooted it with the method by downgrading it, anyway not important, all went just fine I was happy with the new ICS and everything, I installed my Fav apps and all just go working fine.
I installed this games: "angry Birds", "angry birds seasons", "Angry birds space","They need to be feed","NFS shift","Doodle Jump","aliens" and "androidify". in the past in my older devices with GB and Eclair stock rooms this games never gave me a problem even on the current ICS until few days ago.
the other day I was just playin "they need to be feed" when suddenly the touchscreen stop working ...?¿?¿?... no message alert of fc and nothing came up the game still running normally but when I touched the screen for playing it do nothing, anyway the back, menu and home buttons still working and i quit the game by preesing home button, the stock launcher and all the other functions in the phone all were normal even the touchscreen so it seeemed to me like some bug on the game and I tought it was because some incompatiblility issue of the game with ICS. that moment I was testing all the apps I have, until I tested the angry birds I enter the game and for my surprise the touchscreen didn't work on this game, I quited the game and entered the angry birds season....the same problem and finally the angry birds space with same results. the other games i tried were fine. it was some kind of issue with this four games all the rest in the phone were just fine. it was very weird for me so i restarted the phone and again launched "they need to be feed" game, for a moment all went just fine when suddenly again the same problem, so I decided to remove the app and restart again the phone, that was two days ago. when i was playing angry birds again it all go working fine I thought the problem was gone until yesterday when I was playing Angry birds Space and again stop working the touchscreen.
I don't know what is the problem...maybe the hardware? or the latest update of angry birds? maybe other app in conflict? like set cpu? I don't know anymore so please help me because is anoing have to restart the phone everytime....
I tought it was the pinch zoom in the game but when in gallery app all go normal...I don't know anymore please help me

As far as i know, those games didn't compatible enough to ICS. That need to fix is the APP, not PHONE or ROM. So just wait the app dev to fix it.

thnks!!!! I start to think that too, because is weird that the touchscreen didin't work just in those games, and it's not all the time, yesterday I played again angry birds space and nothing happened all was normal....maybe are the games as u said, thnks brooo

If you don't mind, the smart people figuring things out with the rom would like you to test and report back, and report any other games that just don't want to work.
Just reguesting that people get a logcat/dmesg and if your device crashes, a last_kmsg.

I was able to catch a glitch from what it seems LCD or Refresh distortion and also some more Logcat Crashes
New misbehaved games:
Free from market:
Mayhem : Touch screen freezes game. Most problematic games do that.
Pinball Pro : 3 dots mute and unmute sound Pressing 3 dots i manage to crash Nook Tablet SOD then reboot/shutdown.
Attached here is a Logcat with Game Glow Hockey 2 that screen goes black when you start main game, and also i included Pinball Pro strange behaviour when pressing 3 dots mute/unmute audio.
Also Last kernel message after i leave Glow Hockey 2 displaying black screen for 1-2 min wich caused a reboot issue.
Spirits doesn't work.The game loads, but hangs after attempting to start a new game.

Triple Town is now working after the app was updated last night/this morning. Not sure exactly what they did, but it's working now

while many would love to help you fix your wifi issue, you need to provide more details than "wifi won't stay on"
assuming that you are on the latest version of chrmhoffmann's CM10 (per the thread title)
what is the environment and what are the symptoms?
is this your home wifi router?
how far away is the router?
is it secure?
are you getting interference from another router or transmitter, clutter on the channel?
what have you tried so far, have you re-flashed the ROM?
give us a little to go on and maybe we can help

So sorry. After I left the post I was thinking maybe it wasn't the right place.
To answer your questions...
I could be anywhere in my house. Signal could be very strong of very weak. The router is about 3-4 rooms away in a basement. I never had these issues with CM7. My router is secure WPA I believe. I'd have to double check. I'm not sure about any interference... But I can try to figure that out. (But never had issues with CM7)
Most of the game titles I have tried so far come from gameloft. Order and Chaos, Nova 2, Nova 3. I watch the numbers count up and they go very quickly say 30-40 mb in a few seconds then very very long pauses.Then another 30-40 mb in few seconds and then another very long pause and then after a while longer the wifi connection is lost. I go back to the main screen to find my wifi has actually turned itself off. Short downloads seem to be ok. Larger downloads are not. This has also happened to me if I surf on the unit for a very long time.
If this isnt the right place I apologize. I can't seem to to find a place where I'm allowed to post yet..

Problematic games are a little less problematic
Greetings. Since the introduction of CM9, I've found that many games and applications weren't handling touch events correctly and consequently, caused games - like gta3, shadowgun, and battleheart - to crash, hang, or not display ui elements correctly. This was very depressing indeed and I'd often stare down at my nook tablet regretting my purchase. I honestly felt Gingerbread simply didn't belong on a tablet and the stock BN Rom felt very antiquated for my tastes. I was stuck, or at least I felt that way. CM9 - now I'm using CM10 - was nice, but none of my favorite applications would operate the way you'd expect.
However, thanks to some very diligent gentlemen over in this thread , games and apps that once behaved awkwardly with regards to touch events are now working fine! I somewhat feel inclined to include a "games that are now working" list, but honestly, everything I've thrown at the nook tablet since updating its firmware and patching the fixed kernel driver, has worked wonderfully well. GTA 3, Raymans jungle run, GLWG, Battleheart, deadspace; old or new, many problematic apps are responding to touch events now, and nook tablet owners should really give CM10 a go. I even tried a few lesser known games that would hang due to mishandled touch events and they now work, too. The nook tablet is looking really sexy now, folks :laugh:
tl;dr
mik_os updated our touch panels kernel driver to support a firmware that enables concurrent 5-finger touch. I think he also "sexied" up the touch handling, which resulted in some applications working better - with regards to touch events - than they did before.
Also, once you upgrade your touch panel to this new firmware, there's no going back! You're stuck with CM9/CM10, but I honestly don't think that's a problem

Not correct. You can flash stock firmware for touchscreen, thus revert is possible
