***4 Mobile musicians Only*** - HTC EVO 3D

This thread is 4 the mobile musicians that use Android. It is well known to all that the mobile music making apps we all want are iOS EXCLUSIVE.I could list them but it would be massive and only serve to piss off anyone who doesn't own an iOS Device.
There are few alternatives to the beautifully programmed iap's mentioned above and they all feel homemade in comparison.
When I first got enlisted to the Droid army I had a tough time finding mobile beatmaking apps. The ones I found sucked quite a bit

I know what you mean, Caustic and Uloops are decent apps but not like the software available for iOS.
I was thinking of getting an iPad for some apps like ReBirth and Korg Electribe etc.
What kind of music do you produce?

I use Reason 5 and Ableton along with a Roland MC-808 but it would be fun to make tracks when I don't have access to my PC. Can't beat a computer but its nice to have options.

i don't produce music on the phone but i do use it to document ideas or melodies. or if i find a good melody harmony mix i'll whip out the recording device and have a go.

It's the future when i got started you needed @ least 25k to even think of building a studio now you can get started w/ like $1,300. And the mobile musician thing is a joke now but they can build a studio on the phone for like $100 in app purchases. You may laud it now but the way music is now I don't see it being a joke for long so go troll elsewhere

Back on topic.
The devs have all cited problems with android audio engine and their are iOS apps that WERE slated to be ported but immediatly ran into latency issues due to a poorly coded audio engine. The first release of iOS had 5 milliseconds of latency. My 3VO on 2.3.4. States 55 ms of latency. I have a protools mpowered rig @ home w/ reason 6 fl9 and plugins out the wazzoo. So the trollz will have to step their diss game up and say they have a superserver with PROTOOLS 9 3D OR SOME OTHER FAKE ****.

Yep, if you have an idea you can make a quick beat on your phone or kinda like a "rough draft" so you don't forget when you do finally get to your desktop, also some of these apps you can export .wav files and include them in your production.
