I can't get access to it through my market. Has it been pulled or is there a problem with my market? If someone can post the working version for 3d would be much appreciated.

The 3D evo has a built in snapshot app.
Try to press power and them the home button.
The dev of shootme supsended all this apps.
If you still want it, google is your friend - found different versions of it.
I'd rather have someone post the latest apk from the market. Downloading random apps is just asking for a virus.

Good day EVO enthusiasts, I'm posting in hopes that someone may have a solution to our problem. The genie widget doesn't work on the EVO. Anyone know why and is there a fix I should know about. Genie is my favorite news supplier. Can't function without it. Searched everywhere, can't find a suitable substitute. Feel free to point me in the right direction if you guys know of fix or a decent substitute. Thanks

I can't deal without it either bro. Pulse isn't enough. I tried installing genie today but it won't work. I need it!!! Not having it makes me like this evo 3d far less than my evo.

I take no credit for this, but it works well----unzip it and you'll find the apk in there someplace. It works well on my 3vo

Settings > Applications > Check "Unknown Sources"

You need a file manager like andexplorer or astro. Then just open it, find the apk and install

while without the genie widget I found the so app News Republic. I'm starting to think without ads its better than genie.

Just a heads up, I believe an updated version is posted HERE It works great for me.
HTC offers the app through the HTC HUB also. Of course they may push other stuff to the phone but its still available.

Download the apk onto your SD card, then go to the file location and select it using any file managaer (OI File Manager, Astro, File Expert, Root Explorer, etc.). Then you can install it like any other app.

I had this same issue. Sign up online and not from the app.

So does the Skype in market not work on the Evo's or something? The one in market says it was released yesterday and supports video chat.
It means when u enter ur number before u enter ur number put the plus symbol first + then the number

Edit: I take that back, I just watched the trailer for Sucker Punch. Wonder why some load and some say "Not available in your country."

Have you tried both the S-Pen and the power+home method? Sometimes one works when the other doesnt for me.
