While the new tablet market looks very nifty, I can't figure out how to rate any of the apps I have installed. Did that feature get left out somehow, or am I dense?
Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk
It's not possible to rate or comment in tablet Market.
Good- it's not me then. Seems like a bad decision to eliminate that feature for the most capable platform.

Is there any word office for tablets that allows spell check
Sent from my GT-P7510 using XDA Premium App
Other than the spellchecker that is built into the keyboard, no.

Really? The problem is I Am using a physical keyboard. Wat is so hard by just adding spell check

No clue why none of the developers have them in their "office productivity" apps/suites. It's one of the few shortcomings of Honeycomb, at least for me. I have to believe there are spell- and grammar-check classes that could be (relatively) easily tacked on. Maybe I'm way wrong, though.

I have to +1 this... if someone creates a word processor with the ability to spell check it (I'm on a transformer and have a physical keyboard), I will be a happy man. I will also pay good money for it.
It'd be convenient to have on my phone.

If you mean a 48-series emulator - not sure... But a 48GX emulator would be...
LEGENDARY WIN!
Still have my 48GX from high school. Over a decade later - STILL unmatched...

Andie graph doesn't. Worked great on my cappy, but locks this up
Not sure what features you want are, but RealCalc Scientific Calculator has an RPN input option. I have the paid version, but there is a free version that you can check out.

I've liked algeo, it has full solve graphing and other stuff

Oh wait, I completely misread the first post and read HP instead of TI...
Ooops. Fail.
Why would you want a TI calc emulator???
There were a few on the Market a few months ago. Probably still there.
Update: Looks like they got merged into Andie Graph and that broke stuff.
Andie Graph specifically mentions no support for SGS2. Works fine on Galaxy Tab 7 (installed it the other day with TI86 rom).
The HD Netflix app from the Razr works on the Rezound. Just thought I would put that out there. It is cleaner than the one pulled from the Android Market or Amazon. Version differences prove HD vs SD, 1.5 vs 1.6 on the build versions. No errors or any other issues.
Edit: My apologies. Was in a hurry earlier and thought I put this up. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1394637 is the correct thread. They janked it for the Nexus and I was curious.
So you tell us this and then dont post the apk?

Apk or link to thread would be awesome. Looking forward to hd netflix

I don't see a difference. Supposedly a portion of the screen is suppose to be cut off but mine is full screen. Video doesn't look hd either.

Yeah, mine goes full screen unlike that post, but I think the picture might be better. It's just a slight difference, though.
We won't get true HD on Netflix until the snapdragon has the proper security certificate like the omap does.
Yep

I think the difference is only 360p to 720p. No full support at this time, but the reason the screen is shrunk is because the screen size is different. Resolutions for 1080 or 720 shrinks on the larger display. The video is only slightly different, but I did notice slightly better clarity. Could just be that I watch anime mostly and not too many real movies or episodes. Similar to what pulls up on my ps3 though. just about 46 inches smaller on the phone.
Hey, Does anyone know how to get Netflix in HD on our Galaxy S3?
Supposedly only certain processors are supported at this time. Mostly ones motor uses. You can go into the settings in your account to make sure it's set on highest quality but given that HD is not supported or so I've heard it won't be HD
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
Never good to hear. Hope that they update it and start supporting more processors, I mean we have a pretty good one.
It's not about speed, it's about DRM.

Does any know of an app, something on wanam, or a mod that will let you double tap to turn the screen on? I've looked but haven't found much... Currently on Rooted stock rom. Thanks

Only option appears to be a play store app. The one called Tap Tap app seems like it does the job, but the reviews are less than stellar.
As my E4GT aged and the buttons became less dependable, many of us started using Gravity Screen On, an app I can personally report as highly functional, does the job (differently), yet takes a degree of patience to get it behaving the way you want (can drive you nuts, but get past that, and you may be pleased),

As to natively doing this, I've seen it tied to kernels for HTC phones, the Nexus series (not just the LG variants, but the tablets, even the Galaxy Nexus), but as to the Note 3 specially or an Xposed module, nada that I can find.
Would love to have it. Wouldn't buy a phone without a replaceable battery or am external SD, but that is one cool feature. I hope someone corrects me on this and unearths something.

I'm pretty sure it's tied to the kernel.
Though I've seen it done with the internal knock sensors.
It can be a huge pain to get working reliably.
The screen at the moment has to be on to accept input.
It sounds like a cool idea.
Then reality sets in....
Actually if you could implement this without...
Errant random screen taps waking the phone.
Battery drain from having to keep part of the system up watching and interpreting screen taps.
Hmmm mm

That at least confirms my suspicion. At least you can give Gravity Screen On a whirl. The free version has full functionality, and your battery doesn't take too bad of a hit on the process. Like I said, it's not something you immediately love, but you can get used to it, and does the job well. It just doesn't work the way the swipe to wake or knock to wake features work.
