Ok, I've made some new flashable zips which will give you the ability to use the carrier logo function, just like on miui, there's 2 types one has the center clock and the other has a normal clock position.
The center clock has a slight bug, when you get a lot of notifications if they reach the clock in the middle they will overlap with it and it looks a bit odd.
Installation.
First extract the rar to your SD card. (Or PC if you want to change the carrier logo inside to one of your choice before flashing)
Then flash either the centre clock one or the normal clock zip from recovery. (My PC is still playing up so I haven't been able to sign these zips so make sure signature check is disabled in clockworkmod recovery if you get a signature error while flashing)
Reboot, if it hasn't worked or the statusbar has disappeared, first go back to recovery and flash the undo.zip, boot thevphone again and then try to flash the first one again. (Its a small bug with my zips, doesn't happen everytime but now and then it does)
Changing the carrier logo.
To change the logo I use a program called 7zip (winrar should do the trick too though)
First you need to find your carrier logo that you want to use, there is an excellent 80+ page carrier logo thread over in android themes section of xda (I'll put the link here soon) or you can find them in miui themes, or even make your own.
Extract the zip to your desktop, go to /system/app to find SystemUI.apk, right click it and choose 7zip from the menu and then Open archive.
Once the zip opens up navigate to /Res/drawable-mdpi, right click carrier_logo.png and delete it.
Then drag n drop the carrier label of your choice into the window choose yes if it pops up asking you if you want to add to archive.
Go back to the folder which contains both the META-INF and system folders, highlight them both and right click, choose either winrar or 7zip and zip them both back up together to make your flashable zip, choose .zip instead of .rar and compression should be set to store.
Copy this zip back to your SD card and then flash it.
I've been using this for 3or4 days now on cm7 build 16 by erwinp, everything seems to be working fine for me, USB transfer seems to work fine.
Edit: I've updated to the latest stable version of cm7.2 and they are still working fine.
This may work on other builds but may not, it may seem to work on other builds but may break something else like USB transfer for example. However it works fine on build 16, I will update this to newer builds and stable cm7.2 when I update my rom and not before as I only update when I see changes I want........
Download link, this is an rar. You need to extract the zips from it before flashing.
http://db.tt/ARvDwbBc
Please if anyone uses this post some screenshots of your logos.
Update: I've made another 2, which contain a transparent carrier logo so you can have just the carrier text or use the custom text in cm settings to put your name or whatever you like on the statusbar, I've also moved the clock in one of them from the statusbar to the notification dropdown window so you can have a nice clean statusbar but the clock isn't too far away either.
Edit: I forgot one, this zip will give you the carrier text and a center clock, it still contains a carrier logo but its transparent. http://db.tt/lC4UXF6X
You, know you can use zdune's patcher to make a transparent statusbar and/or centered clock and/or operator name, for every single nightly you want ?
I do it all the time, exept i don't like the operator name and the mcenter clock
But i did try to put my statusbar notification widget down and it worked(kind off...).
Never seems to work for me I get no errors, it just won't do it.
I thought I'd post this in case anyone else wanted it the easy way.

I can make ir for you
Post me your systemui.apk and framework-res and i will make you all of them. Just remember if you want a transparent statusbar use a themw that supports it and a live wallpaper (try multipicture live wallpaper, with it you can set your own pictures.

These are working fine for me atm, thanks for the offer though. I'm sure I'll fix the patcher and make it work right one day. No need yet though as I have these also I managed it manually once, sure I can do it again if I need. It is pretty simple really.

There is a app in market super status bar..which might help you doing same...though not tested yet...

Better without an app though, I've used the app (curiosity) and its still early days, needs a lot of work. if you look in this thread I've posted my modded systemui and framework for anyone on nightly 177 to use.

Ah lol, I'm gonna try to figure out which part of theme Chooser themes need editing to enable the transparent bar soon as I do i'll make you one.
Been meaning to figure it out for days but I've been busy, if anyone knows share please, save me some time!

To be honest I just want the time in green and numbered battery percentage too. Using eye candy 1.8 cost I loooove the green theme and keyboard. Sad I know but!!!!! Lol

working perfectly on #208 thanks a lot :-}
Hope a flashable zip for only a transparent statusbar can be done. A transparent statusbar not only looks stylish but will also make our screen appear larger than what it is.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda premium
There's a few different ways to enable just transparent status bar, I have a zip just for transparency but it will only work on cm7 nightlies and with a theme that supports transparency. (Will upload them again later)
If you use a different rom I may still be able to point you in the right direction though.

FOR SAMSUNG VIBRANT (SGH-T959)
APPLICATION TO OTHER GALAXY S MODELS IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS THIS MAY CAUSE.
New Release!
Wow, it's been a while since I've done any work on this theme. Here's a much-needed update that should help with applying this theme with the new firmware and with other custom themes. Not much has changed graphically, except for the new transparent blue pop-up text boxes.
The main theme no longer contains my notification icons. Those are now packaged separately in two different versions, one with the battery icons and one without. If you are using a custom battery indicator, such as an accurate battery mod, then use the package without battery icons.
Also, I have included a dark-to-light package for moving from a dark notification theme such as my AllBlack theme or the one included in Bionix. THIS IS FOR JI6 FIRMWARE ONLY!
I have removed the clear-to-stock theme as it seems like these reversion themes cause more problems than they solve since not everyone is using the same firmware.
ClearBar v1.0
This changes your notification bar to a rounded see-through bar and replaces several TouchWiz notification icons with heavily modified versions created by me. It also replaces the pull-down notification list with a modified version with a clear background.
This is a MetaMorph theme, so you will need to install MetaMorph from the Market and use it to apply this theme.
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE APPLYING THIS THEME!
ClockworkMod Recovery is available for Galaxy S phones through the ROM Manager which is available in the Market. If you have not already, please install ROM Manager in order to flash ClockworkMod Recovery (completely safe) and create a nandroid backup before applying this theme. I am not responsible for any issues this theme causes. It works perfectly fine on my Vibrant, but no two phones are alike so your experience my differ.
Be sure to turn USB Debugging on before applying. For some reason, having debugging disabled causes MetaMorph to hang when applying the theme.
Feel free modify or incorporate this theme in part or whole in your own projects. I only ask that you give me some credit if you redistribute my work.

Very nice...thank you! It goes very well with my spinning galaxy live wallpaper. The only time I like the stock TW notification bar better is when I open the browser. The bar then looks light gray and there's not much contrast between your bar and the white font of the bar.
I tried the Evo black bar morph before trying yours and I couldn't get MM to do anything with the file after it would extract the zip. Yours on the other hand worked just fine...so, good job!

Do you have USB Debugging enabled? I noticed in the EVO bar thread that some people with this problem got it to work by enabling USB Debugging.

I actually used the EVO black bar morph as a template for mine (this is my first time ever making a MetaMorph theme), although I didn't use any of the actual artwork from it. I don't really know how this works for you when the black bar one won't, but I'm glad you're happy with it.

I'm not sure, but I've been thinking about doing that too. I'm still pretty new to making themes and there's a lot that I haven't figured out yet.
Works on my Captivate but you need to fix some images like stat_sys_signal_5.png that have some white left in the transparency background.
Thanks for pointing that out. There are quite a few things I want to fix and tweak before I make this a "finished" 1.0 release.

It looks like Android puts a second short notification bar behind the date in order to hide the notification icons in the area where the date appears. If I can somehow get rid of that bar, then the date will be displayed right on top of the icons and look pretty messy. I don't know if there's an alternate method of hiding those icons.
Very nice work. Using it full time now. Really fits in well with the rest of the system. I'm gonna see if I can make a solid variant -- the transparency doesn't play too well with white BGs.

Theme Info
The Music.apk in this theme is the Music Mod by Eliot Stocker.
The widgets are transparent with white text. I recommend using a dark wallpaper.
The font included in the theme is the Ubuntu font.
If you are using Amon_RA's recovery and the theme is not applying after flashing, then you need to use clockwork recovery.

8. While the force close pop up is on the screen, another pop up menu will appear behind the force close pop up and the buttons will say either Continue? or Stop; you must quickly press Force close on the force close pop up, then press Continue? on the other pop up menu; it will then start applying the framework-res.apk
9. The device may freeze up at this point, if it does freeze up (mine did), then wait about 30 seconds, then pull the battery and boot your phone
10. Everything should be applied now

I never log into the app, so I wouldn't have noticed that, thank you. It's fixed now. I'll include in the next release with it themed more. I changed where the widget_xxx.xml files sent out calls for color to the drawables.xml to point to the solid_white line instead of the lines they originally pointed to that I had changed to white from the original color.
Do you think you can add images for the lock screen unlock/sound off tabs? And also the phone/messaging tab if its enabled under cm settings. It looks cool with it being invisible but I kinda wanna be able to see it. Thanks man this theme is by far the best yet for this phone!

I don't know if this will work, but you can try clearing the data/cache for the market under settings/applications, then flashing the old market, then reflashing the theme and seeing if it works. If that doesn't work, then the only way I know how to fix it is to wipe your phone. I was plagued with the new market force closing when it was first released, but since I started using with the 2.2.9/2.2.10, I haven't had one force close with it.

i know if we install thru recovery it becomes part of system and only way to go back is to reflash rom correct? any way to maybe work with Cyanogen to make this one of their themes in their new theme section that way we are free to go back and forth? i dont think im only one who thinks that would rock

Awesome theme you should make this theme for the "Theme Chooser" app that is now included in CM7 that would be awesome
Updated to cm_glacier_full-13.zip.
Currently, there are no guides (that I am aware of) of how to make a theme for the tmobile theme engine, and beyond that, I have no clue what all can be themed with it and what can't be themed. I have looked at the source for Cyanbread, and even if I could add every image in my theme to it, then I would have to write several thousand lines, so I really don't see this theme being made to work with the theme engine anytime soon unless can write a guide for creating them and/or for automating the process.
Ohhh okay love the theme and thanks

INSTALL THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
This theme has been confirmed working on both stock 1.8.3 deodexed and gingerblur 3.5. It will shortly be update to handle gingerblur 4 (It may already, but I don't know what got changed yet).
Since most of the files were taken from Gingerblur, the name MinimalBlur will stay to pay respects to where most of the content is coming from.
REMOVE OLD VERSION BEFORE CONTINUING
I have written an uninstaller (Restore_0.3.zip), but it reverts to the last known files before 0.3 was installed. In order for it to work correctly, those need to be the stock files.
If you have MinimalBlur v0.1 or v0.2 installed, then flash the Ginger-3.5_MinimalBlur_removal.zip or Stock-1.8.3_MinimalBlur_removal.zip and reboot to go back to stock. Then boot back into recovery and flash the version of 0.3 you want.
First, the credits, because I really just stole things from people and used the digital equivalent of duct tape and spray paint to make my own version.

Very nice... I second the additional colors request (I like blue ).
What widgets are you using with this and did you theme them or are they just transparent?
All of the Widgets I am using are listed under "other used / needed" section in the first post. They are only themed with what the widget provides available to you by default (under the options menu's) tonight I am going to try and pack up as many backups of those apps as I can, so it can be as simple as "restore backup" for many of them.

Interest from me for a darker version, very classy and nice work indeed. I'm not big on red but i am still going to give it a go.

I just posted an updated version that fixes the power bug. I will get to work on some color variations, but I don't know if I can get any up tonight.
I added a black theme, I will work on blue next. I will continue to try and make as many variations as possible in order of request popularity.
awesome... totally digging the black theme.

EDIT: i just realized there is no clock! what the h. i probably should of read or looked. i need a clock in my notification bar
NOTE: Arc/Neo users, the zip says Xperia play because it was intended, it being my current device! But works fine on both phones just remember you need same phone version!
UPDATE: This is an on-going project! By me!
A lot more is done in a more recent fix i have completed.
I'm also not responsible if you brick your phone, or mess it up in anyway, if you don't know how to replace system apk's and the framwork.apk don't you shouldn't be attempting to install this, i'm not going to tell you how as there is plenty of topics/threads on this.
This is for STOCK rom only.
Version: 4.0.2.A.0.42
What I have done/included:
. Replaced the SE icons with that from ICS,
. Status bar is partially themed to resemble ICS.
. Settings has had some icons replaced.
. Camera looks a bit more ICS style.
. Theres a zip containing the ICS/ Galaxy Nexus ringtones/notifications/alarms/UI sounds.
. Theres a folder with 2 ICS wallpapers and the ICS icons and some icons resembling the folders icon in ICS
.Toast notifications are now ICS style.
.Some notification icons are now ICS style (messages, gmail)
.Tick boxes and scrolle along the right hand side is now ICS style
.ICS overscroll glow.
.Headers are now ICS style
.Contact boarders are now ICS.
.Clock & Date is now ICS coloured.
. NOtifications title and description is now White (readable) some 3rd party apps may still have difficult to read text on the black background, that is down to the app itself not my theme.

then there's something wrong with you,
i installed and it works well, im using .42 fw
just the camera doesnt change, because the app on the ICS theme named camera.apk , but the arc's named semccamera.apk (if im not mistaken),
so when u copy the camera.apk to system/app , there will be 2 camera.
i like the stock better
the contact doesnt change too much, so do the browser and the messaging app,
but the overall work is awesome
and the icons is super!
but i have 1 issue, when playing music with playerPro,
on the black notif background , the text is also black, i think its the playerPro's problem,
anyway it doesnt bother me much

yea i'm currently working on themeing the inside of the apps now... long on going process expect more releases in the near future moving house on friday so busy busy also it is playerpro's fault you can change it too white if you go into the settings of player pro and find the bit that says 'inverse notifications colours' something like that
as for the camera.apk the xperia play doesn't have sony ericssons stock camera app just the stock android app ^_^ as that's what i test my work on
How to install?
hello. excuse the simple question, but how do I install this theme? gotta install apk files one by one or is there something to install everything at once? thank you
Can i use this with Battery styles + power widgets bar, Reboot option - or must i do something else, thanks

To use it, u must compile the framework and systemUI from the ICS theme with ur battery styles, power widget, and reboot option.
U can't replace the framework and systemUI , it will change the UI..

Make sure u do the right permission.
framework-res.apk >> /system/framework
Bootanimation and audio files (from media folder) >> /system/media
But place it to the right folders.
No the rest of the files that ends with .apk in the ICS theme folderbelongs to /system/app
Example:
systemUI.apk >> /system/app

can Acornium 1.1 rom use this?
I was hoping someone had or could make a set of ATT status bar icons in cyan (Alarm, BT, wireless, mobile. battery, airplane, sim, etc) with vilan theme system so it will not overwrite System UI. I'd be willing to donate $10 to someone who would share the complete set with us. $20 if you could make a complete set where the Mobile data in/out animations worked properly on roms based off of international firmware. As far as i know the international just shows that there is data activity, not whether its in or out. In case you are confused here is the ATT in-out 4g LTE icons.

These are based on the latest TrickDroid (5.2.1) and ARHD (7.1) SystemUI.apks. It will display the following animated ATT icons for the networks listed:
G for GSM
E for Edge
4G for UMTS, HSDPA, DC, HSPA+
4GLTE for LTE
Note: if you chose any other systemUI modifications while installing your ROM (batteries, etc), this will overwrite them. The first is just systemui modified to display the ATT animated data icons, rather than the boring H icons, etc. The second is the same, but the icons are cyan. I also, on top of the mobile data icons, made a bunch more of the notification icons cyan. Keep in mind that not all of the notification icons you see are in SystemUI.apk...so a complete cyan set would require changing a bunch of individual .apk's notification icons. It is possible that I missed an icon...just let me know if this is the case

Thanks man i appreciate it. Here's a $20 Unique Transaction ID #9V095629X11681330.
What about making this using vilian themeing (vrtheme) system so we wont lose our battery mods and centered clocks or anything else system ui related.. That way itll work with all of mikes releases..or torxx and many others. Any downside? isnt vrtheme theme the future? Thanks again!
Can't tell you how appreciated that is!
I've honestly never looked into this vrtheme you speak of.. lol I'll check it out this week and see what I can do.. I assume it's an on the fly mod kinda thing where it disassembles/reassembles the current apk with mods that are selected using an aroma installer? Im sure I could throw that together. Since I'm feeling lazy..and getting kids ready for bed..could you shoot me a link to a thread/forum with info?

You're welcome/. Vrtheme just inserts the changed files into an apk. http://www.villainrom.co.uk/forum/threads/about-villaintheme-system.4971/
I'm pretty sure this will make your life easier.!
A few Features:
Will modify APKs in a ROM, without changing signatures, and can be used on any ROM where the filenames of themed files is the same.
Should not need updated between versions of a ROM
Zipaligns all APKs before installation
Stores a backup of all files being modified in /cache/vrtheme-backup/
Requires no coding abilities or editing of files - just drag and drop
Can copy "raw" files, though at risk of not working on other devices (well, let's face it, it won't work on likely a slightly different ROM, so this feature is not recommended or encouraged)
Cool I'll look into it

What files were changed beside icons? Was there something changed to tell it to use the different up/down animations? If so could you tell me which files so i can try to learn this stuff? Thanks man!
I'm really familiar with it. I use another universal theme changer, but it works just as well (you can see the stuff i did for the nexus 4) so I can do it, but I don't even have the device yet. I'll see what i can do today to make a universal flasher. That is what you want right? I just want to get it right before i do something
EDIT: I made it but I need someone to test it. OP?
Will these work if I'm just rooted on the stock rom. I have not flashed any roms. Just rooted on stock.

you shouldn't need it as it already has the icons that are being added. are you just looking for the cyan icons?
Edit: or do you have an international device? if you do and you're on the same base as arhd/trickdroid then yes - use the arhd one as i saw he said his systemui was stock
@OP: I tried it on my Nexus 4 (not flashing it but just seeing if zipthemer recognized it and it didn't. I realized that macs create some stupid folder when zipping files so I'll have to do it on a PC. It will probably take a little longer to get the link to you.

I want the cyan icons. I'm using a rooted stock at&t htc one.
Here is what i've done. Tell me if it works. The instructions seem complicated, but if you're used zipthemer before, its easy.
This is universal...can be used on any rom as long as you're rooted.
(I took this from my other thread)
1. Download ZipThemer - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ipthemer&hl=en
2. Update edify - Menu>update edify>browse
3. Pick and flashable file that you have on your phone excluding mine
4. Click Configure
4. Tap "+Theme" and find the zip you downloaded
5. Then "Build It"
6. Reboot into recovery and flash the zip zipthemer created.
7. Enjoy!
http://d-h.st/the
(isn't that awesome...i got "/the"? )
The reason i used zipthemer instead of villain themer is because villain isn't compatible with TWRP and I like TWRP better than CWM
